    With a combination of intuition and dreaming, I've always wondered how my dreams can sometimes perfectly coordiate itself around a looming future real world event. Like how at just the right moment in a dream something happens that matches up with someone in the house dropping an object, or some other unpredictable noise.
    I've also experienced dreams that include a jumbled up coctail of future events that end up coming true weeks or months later. It almost makes me wonder if that theory about time moving in more than one direction can, in some cases, allow our subconcious to access events that haven't yet occurred.

      Lemme look up the book you need to read... It's called "An Experiment With Time." By J.W. Dunne. Published in 1927. I first read it as a teenager in the 1970's.
      It's basically about the exact phenomena you describe. 'Precognitive dreams' if you will. A fascinating read.

    Is it me, or have we completely slowed down with things not only technology wise, but improving as a species, it honestly feels as though we've begun to go backwards in some fields, I hope I'm not alone in thinking about these thoughts

    • @marvac-r7916
      @marvac-r7916 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I hear ya! 👊🏼
      Tech & industry entropy is what i see. Highly dev countries strive to *control* the environment (stoopid crap like relocating a species to combat something and then it becomes invasive); while other societies have thrived by *cooperating* with the natural flow of our planet (like knowing when & where to catch fish without disrupting their life cycles).
      And THAT is why octopuses and starfish are suicidal and whales are closing ranks.

The newest generation of people, are going to crash progress in many areas and I'm sure in many areas they will not only go backwards but actually cause problems some of which will be far reaching, detrimental to our species as a whole, dangerous and probably cause loss of life hopefully not in great numbers... You know it's coming... I'm not trying to group people together and assume things but the majority of them are uh... Yeaaaa.... We aren't going to make it if this continues much longer...

    I've always claimed to have a 6th sense because I can feel if a person is good or bad. I don't have to speak to them or even see their face sometimes, I can just feel a very bad or good feeling about someone no matter what my relationship is with them. My bf's mom knew I was pregnant and with which sex before I even started having symptoms of pregnancy. And my BF had a dream of our young cat soon after we had to euthanize her. Our daughter has seen a girl child's spirit upstairs and an elderly woman dressed in old style clothing in her bedroom watching her sleep. It seems we are all some kind of psychic or something and is very strange. I saw my son that I had lost early on in a miscarriage as well and he had told me he was about to move on and pick a new family. Ever since then I have had absolutely no doubt about us reincarnating sometime after death. It was almost a year after losing him that I had the dream. Bf's mom is the only reason I knew I was going to have a boy since I was maybe 2-3 months pregnant.

      True, but it's confusing because like he said "they have always been solitary animals" they have never been observed in groups, and we have been studying them for many many years so it's a mystery because it is just being observed. Also they are the biggest living thing by far on the planet right now so they only have one real enemy and that is us humans, they have no real enemies in the sea.

      It probably has something to do with the absence of the right type of ectomycorrhiza (a fungus that forms a symbiotic relationship with specific tree species). Pretty much all trees have a type of ectomycorrhiza that helps that species of tree get more water and nutrients from the soil.
      Another possibility is that the trees in the centre of the rings are diseased and the trees and the ectomycorrhiza are somehow quarantining those trees by not sharing nutrients-or even possibly taking nutrients directly from the trees on the edge of the rings themselves to contain whatever pathogens are present inside the rings.
      Yes, trees actually do “share” nutrients with other trees of the same species. It’s a far weirder world that we live in than most people think.

    Ive had that dream so many times probably a dozen times or more a year. Im 43 and can remember having them all the way back to childhood. I dont remember where i learned this or when (late teens early 20s), but, it was something to do with dream meanings . The loss of teeth had to do with insecurities/low self esteem. Theres only 2 others i remember .....dreams of tidal waves or drowning was feeling you have no control in your life (also a constant dream of mine), and showing up to school or work naked is fear you'll fail some big test or project/humiliation (that one slways seems talked about but i dont think ive dreamt that).

    Mike, you are one of my favourite people to watch on you tube, today I was catching up on a couple of recent episodes.One was about time, on it was shown a map of the world, with the U.S. flag plastered across north America. No, no, I live in Edmonton, Alberta , Canada, about 380 miles ( 600 km) north of the U.S. border, no offense meant, but we are Canada, not part of the states, America's flag, does not go over our country, please speak to your production staff. A good idea for you, might be to do 25 intersting facts about Canada. My oldest son is working in Georgia, in Marietta, near Atlanta.. There are many facts about Canada, that most Americans don't know, we have seasons, it's not always winter, I have been twice asked by Americans if I live in an igloo. We have spring and summer temperatures above 30 degrees celcius. We are a multi-cultural nation, not a melting pot, we have our own slang, over 20%of the worlds fresh water. We eat poutine, tourtiere, donairs, etc. Currently, unlike in the U.S., our days are much longer, twilight ( the time between the sun setting and darkness) ends about 2300h. We can still go out and mow our lawns at 2100h, it's still daylight. Love your content, think you must be a great guy, but help Americans learn about their northern neighbours. Thanks.

To be clear though, I thought I should mention that I have travelled through the U.S. quite a bit, have been to Washinton, Idaho, amd Montana, many times, have also been to Oregon, Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, and Georgia. Have been, in Canada, to British Columbia (many times), Vancouver island (also part of B.C.), Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. Have also been to Scotland, Denmark, Switzerland, and Sweden, so I have had the opportunity to meet many people from many places.

    The only time I have a photic sneeze effect is if I happen to look right at the sun on a bright sunrise/sunset, even then it’s more the sensation of a sneeze, not an actual one…otherwise bright lights don’t trigger it at all

    I might have a possible reason why the octopuses are walking out on dryland. This might sound a little weird but what if they’re trying to force in themselves, we know that octopuses are extremely intelligent creatures. It wouldn’t be out of the realm for them to start trying to take their steps on land and, trying to shed the idea of them living exclusively in the water just saying

Not my first time seeing that stuff. I had a dream my parents house caught fire. Guess whose house caught fire. It’s happened all my life but I never can take it seriously because I have 🌟 anxiety 🌟

    Personally, I believe sleep is a natural mechanism of life on this planet. All things living on our planet work best on the concept of energy conservation working based on the cycle of night and day. Certain processes work better in sunlight, during high energy hours. Others, work better in darkness in darkness, during low energy hours, or burn energy hours.

  • @mandishelby
    @mandishelby 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

    My theory on sleep is 2 fold. First all cells in our body will fully regenerate every 7 yrs, while our taste buds only take 7 days to completely regenerate, it takes 7 yrs for all in our bodies to do so as they do so in segments of time fully regenerating within 7 yrs before it starts over again (this is also what i believe cancer can be attributed to as cancer is an abnormal cell your other cells attack) we need sleep to do without the dying or dead cell and to regenerate it. Our brains are also more active during sleep than when we're awake and the moment right b4 sleep is what some call the enlightenment stage this small window of time b4 u fall asleep shows the same gama brain waves that a monk would experience when he reached enlightenment. Sleep connects us to the universe somehow and allows our brain to comprehend things we wouldn't without sleep.

    The greay oxygenation event happened because there was more water and less trees to shield the sunlight. What do u get when u have water and sun algae. The byproduct of algae is oxygen more algae more oxygen more oxygen bigger animals ie the dinosaurs and during that time when the oxygen levels were in the low 30% centipedes would be 8 ft tall. As opposed to today's oxygen level which sit at around 21%.
