Got another one about Stonehenge, some of the stones were re erected in the 19th century, using old illustrations as a guide. Until the protection of monuments movement, in the 19th century in the UK, many ancient sites got vandalised. Some stones at Stonehenge still have marks from vandalism on them.
My favourite Stonehenge hypothesis is that it was basically a hospital.
The igneous bluestones-the ones that famously came from the Presilli mountains-have acoustic properties. A village in Presilli used local bluestones as church bells until the 1800s. In many ancient cultures, lithophonic rocks (rocks that ring when you hit them) were considered magical and had healing powers. The idea was that you put an ill/wounded individual inside the ring of bluestones and then the attendants would make the stones “sing” by striking them. All of that healing magic would go inward to the suffering individual and, hopefully, help them heal. So kinda like Lourdes. Then later on, the larger Sarcen stones (the ones with the lintels) were built around the bluestones, with the idea of reflecting the magic of the bluestones back into the circle, rather than dispersing into the surrounding countryside.
I have no idea if it’s true or not, but it’s an interesting hypothesis that does align with a lot of the data, like using the bluestones rather than local ones, that some of the burials in the area around Stonehenge were people who had lived far away (the Amesbury Archer came from the Alpine region of Germany, the Boscome Bowmen were probably from Brittany, and another person (without any alliterative nickname, just “the Boy with the Amber Necklace”) was from the Mediterranean region.
You and Simon Whistler are my two favorite TH-camrs
Why thank you!

Love the shirt Mike!!
The idea there were 600k minutes in one year sounded way too low to me. I actually googled it.
Turns out I lack that sense of time thing...🤦
Mike, your Frenchie is so adorable! She's so sleepy I just want to snuggle with her! 💕🐾💜👍🏼
I’m a Skippy girl. We lived less than a mile from the factory. The smell of roasting peanuts was incredible! I prefer natural style crunchy.
Interesting video as always, Mike!
You are 💯 correct Mike! Number 23 was a brilliant movie... I think it was one of Jim Carey's best parts. He was amazing ❤❤❤
I cannot stand Jim Carey. Except for "The Number 23" That move is so good, I can look past that it is JC.
Hey! We found all 3 people that watched it!! Hi guys!! 👋
@@IrishMike22 Hi to one of 3 people with good taste in movies!☺️❤️
@@michelleaudas Hello back ma'am! I knew there were more of us! 🤣
I love seeing your dog!!!
Thanks for the information ☺️🎉
Also, adorable doggy 🐕
Awesome as always!!
The whole 666 vs 616 has to do with the language of translation.
How it works: many languages during ancient times used gematria, where letters have a numerical value, because they did not have symbols for numbers. Think Roman numerals-DCLXVI would equal 666. Ancient Greek and Hebrew languages also used gematria. In Greek, they often drew a line overtop the letters so you would know that they were numerals and not letters.
When the Greek form of Nero’s name is translated from Greek into Hebrew, “Nero Caesar” is written in Hebrew, the gematria totals out to 666 (NRON QSR), because the Greek form of Nero is actually written as “Neron” because of Koine Greek rules about how masculine names should be spelled in the objective case [grossly simplified version]. When the Latin form is translated into Hebrew, there is no second nun letter in Nero (so NRO QSR), so without the second nun, valued at 50, the total comes to 616.
There’s a theory that the author of Revelations, like other dissidents during the reign of Domitian, used criticism of the emperor Nero as a coded attack against Domitian.
So, interestingly enough, if the original text of Revelations had the number of the Beast as 616 rather than 666, that might indicate that the writer wrote the text in Latin rather than in Greek or Aramaic, which introduces all kinds of interesting questions about the author’s background, their origin, their level of education, their legal status (Roman citizenship vs subjugated nation, etc.).
Pointless digression over. ✌️
Not surprised by the bomb disposal experts, because many athletes and other sports people, also have a heart rate that slows as they zone in on their goal. International tennis players are an example, as are many more.
Wow that’s amazing information Mike ❤
12 ... old joke... "I was not my parent's favourite child and I'm an only child".
There’s no winning sometimes with kids. In the past six months, both of my kids have told me that the other kid is my favourite. They both give the same reason, too-I spend more time with the other kid than with them.
I don’t know how I do it. Apparently I’m just naturally gifted that way.
I'm going to watch that movie too. The number 23. I also loved it
Kira is so sweet and a sleepy Kira is adorable
Creamy peanut butter
Cute dog! ❤
Mike, I am so glad you popped up in my suggestions! I look forward to your stuff daily!! I watch, like and share - (already subbed), as much as I can! Keep up the great work! Thank you for all you do!!
You rock!
I had no idea about Korea! 😮 Awesome video! 😊
2500 BCE: "Kids today don't respect traditional values. Just look at what they're doing to the holy ditch!! There's a DAMN rock there now..."
Holy DITCH??? 🤬🤓😎✌🏼
I am highly entertained, thank you
I've known the one about the Korean war for several years, it's one of those facts I like to pull out when talking about the longest wars in history.
Hi, Kira!! 💖
Likes for the video...subscribed because of the beautiful pup!
Hey Mike...I learned this from electric company (kids show) from shock. If you want to learn to beat box. Start by saying boots cuts normally and then slowly start speeding up taking away one letter as you go boot cut...boo cu...bo c....b c. And once you master that you can start incorporating different sounds and syllables.
It’s actually 666 and 616. They’re both right. They both refer to emperor Nero.
Love the show! Did you buy that shirt in aens section? 😂
Great beatboxing, Mike! 😁
Crunchy!!!!!!
PUPPY!!!!!
More senses? All this time I thought I was supernatural. Ha, ha. Fun list, Mike.
Thats you for the video
This hopefully is worth my time MIKE with list 25.
It is
@@list25 Ok it was. Fair enough and ty.
7:31 Your talking about White Noise. This can happen sometimes when the phantoms hijack eletronics, or you use the same type of gadgets seen on Ghost hunting tv shows. It is just energy in some way.
God bless you
U r probably right on the ghost stuff but when 100s of people sees the same thing on a video and it doesn't appear staged that makes it harder to explain
Awesome shirt! ❤ Oh & I didn’t realize how many dogs are stolen until a couple years ago…..A friend of mine was telling me about a couple or a couple of acquaintances that go out and take dogs and sell them. I didn’t even know that was a rotten thing? Freaking terrible! 😢
Fungus is bigger than great barrier reef? Didnt know that!
I'm digging the shirt.
I have no perception of time. lol I suppose maybe it's the same as when some people loose their sight or their hearing, though.
The FDA has a multi page list of which contaminates are permitted in which foods. There is one popular category that allows a worse contaminate than hair or feces, but I don't want to gross anyone out.
I prefer crunchy peanut butter. My favorite brand of peanut butter is Jif.
I prefer peter pan crunchy. Jif tastes burnt to me.
I literally had to pause this and go wake my husband up and ask about the explosive ordinance guys! My husband was EOD in the army for 13-14 (?) years and yeah… true story! That’s crazy!!!
Creamy honey peanut butter ❤ but I do love crunchy too..maybe now not as much as I use to? 😳😂
I saw Ghost (Monsters) Everytime I played PacMan! Four of them to be exact!! 😁
Chip your pets, in case of theft. ❤
Sorry to be the one to say this but often times when someone steals your dog it's to be used as a bait dog to train fighting dogs. If you don't know what that entails I'm not going to go any further.
Chipping your pet is great if they get lost and are picked up by animal control or taken to a vet or humane society that can use a reader to get the info, but its not like a tracking chip. Even chipped pets disappear never to be found.
I like the movie 23 too
Technically a part of Britain was still at war with Russia in the 1960s.After the Crimean war ended in 1856 Berwick on Tweed ( mentioned in the declaration of war ) was left off the treaty to end hostilities.
That explains the look on old Ben's face.🤔
Hi Mike, I don’t think that anyone thought that Stonehenge was done and dusted by lunch time back in the day because that’s a whole lot of boulders to transport and erect without a truck and scaffolding! Px
#24 Yeah.. That's something we call 'self-preservation instinct' dude. I can imagine there is somewhat of a tightening of the sphincter muscles also.
the one about ghost being infrasound hallucinations is not really plausible as a lot of paranormal activity is caught on camera or shared experiences by multiple people.
❤25
My husband is an elementary school teacher, former middle, i work retail management, we see bad parents all the time. For me a majority of the time is just letting kids run wild and destroy things. For my husband it’s just not owning up and trying to correct your kids’ mistakes. I joke the kids that were his problem later turn into my problem.
I can't recall the title, or many other details of the movie, but there was a comedy back in the 1960s wherein was the side plot of a man being tortured in East Berlin by the repeated playing of "Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini".
Extra crunchy peanut butter
My fear of bed bugs has left me unable to stay in hotel anywhere. To tell you the truth, I can’t sleep in any bed except my own. It’s a little extreme but I REALLY REALLY hate bugs, at least in my bed.
The music torture was mild w/o Yoko Ono’s Greatest Hits.
Humans get 3 billion heartbeats. Insane fact.
I don't think that I'd like to live for that much longer. Imagine if we lived until, say, 120, we'd be working for 100 of those years at a minimum. Urgh, no thanks, I'm 36 and already fed up with it. Plus, imagine the ailments we'd have; the fact that our lives have extended is the reason our backs/knees/ hips/ necks etc hurt constantly, why we're seeing increased rates of cancer, dementia etc. Just imagine what we'd be like at 120..
I'm generally surprised when I encounter someone who still believes that we only have five senses.
We also, normally, know which way is up.
Another sense related thing is that there are NOT areas of the tongue that are sensitive to specific tastes. The whole tongue has receptors for all of them.

25 facts about having a disability that will shock you.
There can be far more I know, and I'm suspecting you do as well by our comment.
I can beat box. When I was about 18 or 19 I was in a rap group for about a year and we actually did a few gigs. I don't have any proof, and I'm glad.
1:45 and yet it’s not enough
thermoseption may be chrioception and pyroception
Wouldn't that make everytime your heart sped up you are taking time off your life?
Concrete is the second most used natural resource and only beaten by water because water is used in making concrete.
Youngest child being the favourite isn't necessarily the best indicator. As an older person my life's experiences have taught me that a lot of mothers prefer a son over other children. Both of my sisters and myself would tell you that I was my mums favourite child. And I'm the middle one of 3. A younger & older sister.
Same with dads. They often have a daughter as their favourite. (I have 1 son and 2 daughters myself also. And am admitting NOTHING!)
Of course a woman with no sons, or a man with no daughters.. Who can say?
667 The Neighbor of the Beast
@list25 Not only are there rodent contaminants, there are also insect bits & pieces in your peanut butter including, ants, flies, and ROACHES!! Although they are so small you can't find them usually. They are counted in bits per thousands of pounds of PB.
0:59 Ummm...Maybe it's just "it is what it is," Mike! [Or should I say Fr. Niles Caulder? HaHa]
667 the fax number of the beast
If you grow fruit trees, you are likely to get fungi clusters growing underground. Apple trees especially attract fungi, to the ground around them, due to rotting windfall fruit.
666 not the number of the beast? Crap! Now I need to get a new License plate....
20: Given the level of mayhem that occurs in the comics, that is exactly the prime universe in Marvel comics is called 616.
the senses part shouldn't be 11 senses as the ones you listed are all perceptions. they should all be categorized into 1 and just labelled awareness.
I had no idea about the Korean war. I thought it ended the year before I was born.
Tangentially, did you know that Texas was never properly ceded to the Union?
@ 2:22 Plot Twist: It's actually vodka.
If we as humans are granted 1 billion heart beats, then why is many of us going to the gym to raise the heart rate which will reduce their lifespan?
For all these years I thought that 666 was upside-down according to the movie End of Days.
What? 666 is a meaningless number. End of days was a weird movie. Neither is relevant to life. Why go to the gym and get your heart rate up? Because its good for your heart. That 1 billion beats is an approximation. Some get more some get less.
That’s where I remember it from! I thought he was going to say 999.
How many grains of sand are there on Earth?
There are two beast numbers. It is based on now you spell Nero in Greek.
The 616 one is wrong. While the fragment is old, there is an older copy of Irenaeus discussing the fact that 666 was correct, and debunking the copying error in the one saying 616. So we knew the document existed and knew it was wrong before the fragment was ever found.
All humans that live over the age of 32 experience 1 billion or more heart beats in their life.
I am destroyed when my dog get out of my house/yard on accident I form a search party immediately while walking around the neighborhood screaming my dog's name. Thank God they were never far always were found and never gone more than 15 minutes. ❤ outside that is. My dog who didn't bark was finally found in the garage! Those little dogs can sure slip in between your legs without you knowing it!
Smooth peanut butter with rodent chunks. YUMMY!
Best tap water in the world is Glasgow's, prove me wrong 😂
No more peanut butter.
I'd never bring a child into.this current world
They say the first person to live to 150 years old is already born.
There are 21 senses now.
Humans have an average of 2.5 billion heart beats in a lifetime
Omg- I'm never eating peanut butter again 😢
Btw... Creamy peanut butter is better 😋 well at least to me lol
