You should check out, balance rock in Lanesboro Massachusetts, it's a similar to the one you showed in this video. The top is a rock that's been estimated to be 200 thousand pounds. Sitting on top of a pointed rock only a few inches.

Not a mystery. He was captured by Irish raiders and brought to Ireland--nobody disputes that or needed to "prove" anything. The story is factual and very well documented. After escaping bandage he returned but after becoming a monk he returned to Ireland and was paramount in converting the native Irish to Christianity. He used the shamrock as a lesson about the holy trinity (and by legend he drove out every snake with his staff.) Here's a fun fact for you; St. Patrick's day wasn't a big party day until somewhat recently. It was a more somber occasion (closer to Easter than "Cinco de Mayo") and was celebrated with family after mass. *I don't live in Ireland
The noise that sounded like thunder could have been a sonic boom. We get them here if the AFB sends out planes. They aren't supposed to but sometimes it happens here in Missouri.
