Crocheting a Super Catnip-filled Kitten Toy

Decided tae make kittens a catnip toy. Using strong, almost elastic, velvet wool I crocheted a ball. Filled it with catnip dispersed throughout nylon fibre. Wee bell inside taped box, for a rattle, inside. 🧶
It's now Elphie's new favourite toy 😸💜

My cat Ginger Beans won't use the catnip unless I put it on his favorite mat. I have tried putting it in toys but he's not into it. I move his favorite mat into the bathroom and put the catnip on it and he's in heaven for hours. He ends up sleeping longer than usual if I do catnip playtime with him. He also likes catnip water. I boil catnip in water and chill it before giving it to him sometimes I put a little in his food. It motivates him to exercise and sleep well.
