Accu Rc Wireless Setup Guide (FreddyCanFly)

- The amazing Accu Rc is a perfect Sim experience. This is the first Video in a series showing how to get the most out of this great software. In this video we look at how to setup a wireless sim adaptor know as RX-2-SIM (sold separate). And it will be paired with the Spektrum DX 7S radio transmitter. Please note that there are many different configurations for this, so my hope is that this video will help in almost all situations. Glad you are back. I stopped flying helicopters about the same time you did and just just started flying them again, feels great , I don’t plan on stopping again as I hope you don’t either, love your videos.

Great flying instructional videos. I was one of the early adopters of Accu RC. It came with USB dongle. I simply took spare head phone jacks and soldered DSM2 satellite . I did the same with Futaba cheap S-bus receiver. The headphone jack plugs into the dongle. I can fly either radio Spektrum or Futaba. There is only 3 wires to solder ground, positive and signal wire.
I think they have made some great progress with the updates. There are still some things I would like to see change, however I am willing to give it some time to progress :)
Freddy … you are awesome …I’m getting back into flying 3D helicopters and set up this simulator. I could of never set it up without all the video support you provided. You were spot on …setting up my Spectrum wirelessly to this software.

Wow... this was so helpful! I had been using AccuRc okay, but not correctly. My Flight Modes all work now. Thanks! Vast improvement.

I purchased AccuRC some time ago. Has modern looking helis and is using one of the latest game engines. It's about half the price of the other sims out there which are now starting to look old and tired.
I think it will only get better with time as well.

No disk form its only available on Steam, the bind button/dsmx settings are for the old V1 AccuRC dongle rx2sim has its own method of binding... im amazed the bind button worked in AccuRC with the rx2sim!

Awesome video Freddy. You are a gifted educator! I wasn’t even aware of this new sim. How does it compare in flight feel and realism compared to sims like Phoenix and Realflight? I have been considering a new sim as Phoenix is no longer supported...
Hey thank you brother, trust me and go with AccuRc it is amazing. The feel is very accurate and the graphics make it seem almost real at some times. Of course sim is sim, nothing beats the real rush of a good flight. But as of todays date, if there was a better options out there I would making videos of it and not this :)
Greetings Freddy! Ive been using your vids to learn as we speak! AccuRC does seem to be awesome! Im having a problem though....my throttle is either full on or full off. Any ideas? Your so legend my brother who doesnt care about helicopters knows who your are!
Ahh my good man i figured it out. Im using the orangerx spektrum wireless dongle from hobbyking. I did not have to change anything in the functions....just had to set axis and calibrate and that was it! Defintaly gonna buy AccuRC as soon as possible!

@@33forsaken I broke down and bought it last night....I'm just starting 3d but I'm highly impressed with it! 50 bucks is well worth it!
Great video! One problem I can not work out. Using the DX8G2 and a bound Spektrum WS2000 dongle. All Tx settings per the video are done (I think:)) Stick movement (Ali, Rud and Ele) react as expected. But zero throttle stick movement :( I must have something set incorrectly in the Tx?? When I check the Sim (play) the Heli is already turning high rpms on the deck. No throttle response...weird. Thanks for the work you put into this video!!
Maybe try to recalibration process again and make sure your throttle curve is linear as well.
Iam using the same setup as you are, however I cant get a green light for the transmitter. I was able to bind to the dongle tho.

Can I use a fsfly T-i8 transmitter which has dsmx/dsm2 with a orange Rx dsmx/dsm2 wireless dongle for this simulator
I would say give it try and see, I have only used the RTXsim so far.

Freddy....I have followed this exactly....Having problems with throttle hold. I have a NX8. When I hit throttle hold on my radio the rpm's jump to the idle 1 setting....Can not figure it out...Anyone have suggestions....

At some point I have though about it, still need that FreddyCanFly model. Maybe the NiTron would be sweet !

What I meant was create a playlist of the AccuRC videos you have made already.
This helped my before but now I CANNOT get the Transmitter to turn from Red to green in AccuRC 2. I feel stupid. Lol Everything is perfectly bound, just doesn't seem to like my DX6 G2 for whatever reason. Wish I wrote down everything I did a few months ago. 🤦♂️
Sometimes it helps to just do a new model and restart lol.
Is there a way to put the gyroscope on a heli?

I do believe so, they have many options for different cables and setups. I am using the RX2SIM

You need to get a cable to use, and or the wireless sim and a satellite.
I have the accu2.0..on your video do you show a reciever and a satellite bound to the transmitter and laptop???
Hi mate just wonder what switch is the for dial in calibration?
I am pretty sure you can use them, however it will depend on your radio and how many channels and what they are assigned to. What were you trying to use the dial for?
Freddy Cordova thanks for your time. Im using ix12 with the sim. I tried every switch when I was calibration, the only switch it seems work the knob on top right. Thats why I was confused..
Hey Freddy: im only getting 66% on all controls, how do i change that to 100 on input settings? J
have you completed your throttle calibration first then assigned the correct channels? Also make sure your ratio is set to +100/-100 on your travel limits.

It is called the R2SIM wireless simulator. You call google it and look up purchase options :)

I not sure just the one that comes in the IMAC computers stock.

its half the price of upgrading to RF9, updates are free and has all the moden helis :-)
I will be using the AccuRc for now, but I could try looking into this for you and for future content :)
