Sometimes that works but I live in Ontario Canada unfortunately we have rust and nothing comes that easy usually a good few wacks and a long pry bar she’ll be out
My way is much better… All I do is hookup a chain to my Rubicon and wrap it around this type of suspension and launch…Ta-Da… works every time…thank you, thank you very much…
Those prying tools are all right... But a piece of chain is a bit more versatile.

If you want a cheap alternative to this use a 3" exhaust clamp works great for most cars and won't slip off

Some mechanic bout to pry the control arm out by the axle joint and than tell them they need a new axle
By the time you get that tool out of your toolbox the control arm off
