Haha crack me up. Love your videos - wife is having a go at me now for spending the last two hours in front of the computer pissing myself laughing instead of mowing the lawn. You've got a lot to answer for young lad ! Oh and some great tips in there too (especially with regards to compositing, or is that composting I forget).
Nothing beats your combo of humor and just great photography content! My favorite travel photography channel by far and away. Cheers and keep up the great work.
Your Vlogs get funnier by the day Gavin! Always useful photo tips also so they count as education. Perfect, keep up the good work, I look forward to yours and Adam’s capers every week. Just brilliant!
I climbed the stairs yesterday with my ham and coleslaw baguette to watch some of yours and Adam’s videos at lunchtime. Oh how my thighs burned like I’d been through a Jane Fonda workout when I reached the top step. I had to go all the way back down to the kitchen to fetch my Twirl from the fridge and then I realised I’d eaten it already. There was a drink on the breakfast bar that looked like Ribena, so I took a gulp. It was the wife’s prune juice. Not only is it vile to drink, but it made my backside perform like a trumpet in a brass band. I was a social pariah for the rest of the day. I sympathise with his Eminence, Uncle Prune-Juicicus - Farticus - Shitacarcus. Oh and great photos too btw.
My goodness, that’s a lot in one video - all highly instructional, especially the bus nugget seminar. Great content on the composition tutorial. Great pics. Thanks
Haha Meadow Muffins cracked me up! Great advice Gav on the compo description early doors too, you and Uncle G are rapidly becoming my favourite YT channel, as they say down here in these parts (Oz) you're a couple of Larrikins! Cracking image at 5:16 mate and marvelous time lapsyness at 13:21.
I dont know whats better. The comedy or the photos. Amazing on both ends. Watched at work and actually LOL'd and people looked at me lol. Awesome. LOVE IT!
Great video and I agree about the composition aspect/depth between the foreground, water and background. I've seen some photos with really nice light and subject etc. but hardly any space between the foreground, water and background just as you were saying.
Not only do we learn photography, we also are blessed with an expanded vocabulary-bush nuggets, shit tickets, dangle-berries, cling-on's and tag-nuts! Smashing stuff Gavin.
Oh god, close them legs Adam lol you guys always give me a good laugh. Love all the shots, you were lucky to catch the light on the landscape before that snow. Amazing beauty. 😍
Excellent blog loved all the pictures his great instructions had a hard time trying to choose which picture was the best. Faroe isles kebab you didn't try the local seal burgers then with fizzy bubbly
Pro tip. When you have to trip a shutter and can't use delay and don't have a remote, pinch the shutter. Using your right hand, put the thumb the bottom of the camera or L-bracket and your index or middle finger on the shutter button. Trip the shutter with a smooth "pinching" and release movement (the release will probably happen after the shutter trips, but it's a follow-through that helps you concentrate on apply and releasing the pinch evenly and smoothly). This method can reduce camera movement caused by only pressing the shutter (which bends the rig away from the press) and any vibration that might be caused by the rebound (if the shutter is still open when you remove your finger from it).
very nice Gav....but Adam letting it rip was total class...bury a shite is a past time in the highlands of Scotland, you can go to college and get an SVQ in it...
Did you call them Bush nuggets? 🤣🤣 Another fun and educational vlog. I have actually started to try to use that technique and blend two different shots. I'm struggling a bit though in an old Photoshop but I´m getting there so thank´s for that tip.
Oh this was great! All the way through. Hands down you are the best vlogging landscape photographer, you and Uncle Grumpy... wait, did I just compliment you, crap... I am so bad at this fake being mean to you thing to try and get you to get me on your vlog. Ugh!
Eh up! Had me in bulk from talking about wildies to sheep muffins! All joking to one side, brillliant shots in crazy conditions and location. Thanks Gavin 👌
Gavin, I reckon my thighs of cream-cheese aren't up tp the challenge, so I'll live/travel vicariously through your efforts. Composition and timing on your "spit" shot worked a treat, The "call-of-nature" mini workshop technique was (or will be) very helpful! Thank-You, Mike
We need to see a bit more of you lad. you are conspicuous by your absence. Ok enough telling off I enjoy your channel and look forward to the next one.
.....are your workshops as full of comedic frivolities? Need to get mi sen on one!! Perhaps the evening beerfest is something to behold, lol... grand vid as per :)
No shit tickets aka 'Kleenex flowers' for me. Moss all the way - damp and slightly cool to the touch - just what your ringpiece needs after a busy day!
@@molopez619 - Fototripper does spend a lot of his time sitting on his @rse in cars travelling between shoots. That plus his abundant weight issues must mean his Farmer Giles must be trezmendously ripe and juicy - all the more need for some cooling, soothing moss. Even better when used semi-fredo as you find it in the Faroe Islands.
At 9:55, "I'm basically asphyxiated by my own girth..." Worth the price of admission right there.
That water motion at 5:13 is killer man!
Cheers mate ;)
