I love this video, as a Faroese person living in the Faroe Islands :)... VERY IMPORTANT advice for travellers to our country is, it is NECESSARY to have a guide when hiking the mountains, unfortunately, many outlanders who go hiking without a professional have fallen to, their deaths... so please for your own safety, don't go alone/with people who know nothing about hiking the mountains in the Faroe Islands. It is important to know where you're walking!

As a Faroe Islander, you give me anxiety standing so close to the edge! Please be careful... It's not entirely uncommon for people to get hurt there, or worse, when they aren't careful. The rocks at the edges can crumble when standing on them.
Also, you make amazing videos, so thank you for that. :)

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I visited the Faroe Islands in 2021 and loved every minute. One of the most spectacular places in the world! The people are so friendly and helpful and the hiking is out of this world. But you have to be very careful because the clouds can come down very quickly, reducing visibility to a few metres. Not to be taken lightly.

I visited the Faroes as part of a Scottish Scout contingent in July 1969. We were guests of the Faroese Scouts. Had a great time. The rain was incessant, even for an Aberdeen lad. Friendly people. I stayed for a week with Marjan & Hedin Jacobsen who had a baby, Tomas. Lovely memories even with the worst bout of seasickness in my life. Now live a nomadic life in Australia. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇫🇴🇦🇺 Lots of changes to the islands over the years.
