You are absolutely amazing. So helpful and great advice. I have one goal for now, but maybe eventually I’ll find other things. And you are so right about supplies.
I started with colored pencils. I got into pastels briefly. I paint with acrylics and have all kinds of paint, brushes and canvas. Now I’m learning to paint with watercolor, and more supplies. I’ve stored some things, and sold some others. I’m constantly cleaning up to make room because I hate trying to work when there’s clutter. I love all of it, but I can feel overwhelmed at times!
I found your channel recently and am really loving it! I am incredibly appreciative that you speak in a natural way instead of the strange affected sing song that feels impossible to get away from these days!

Thank you for all your expertise, I got my maker for Christmas and every time I try to do a project I hit a road block. I got your book. I just need to read it now. I love crafting, but I feel so disappointed about not able to use this cricut maker. My issue is the formatting the project before cutting. I need to know how to mirror, weld etc. I feel that is where I am failing. You are awesome, you share so much, and you make it seem so simple. I thank you again.

I am watching your videos as I wait for my maker to arrive. Can't wait to start crafting. Thanks for the tip to avoid stockpiling. I have a horrible habit of starting projects and never finishing them; it could be because I just have too many things and can't stay focused.
You will love that Maker! I think as creative people, we all have these projects that we start and never finish! I am guilty as well! I like to try and set goals to complete them before moving onto the next one. :)
What an informative video! I was especially impressed and appreciated that you said NOT to buy all the accessories and materials! I haven't even bought the machine yet, but have already got the easy press, mat, access membership and am looking at different blades (taking advantage of the 40% off sale). It's so easy to get caught up in all the fun, new stuff, it was nice to hear you with that reminder that we don't need everything all at once.

I have that reader's glasses with the light. The problem I have with it becomes heavy on the bridge of the nose. I still use it but I have to take them off time to time. This is a great lesson I'm learning from you. I am really enjoying and learning a lot! I love your Facebook group too by the way.

Hi Jennifer, I just got a Maker so I decided to watch your videos from the beginning and I’m glad I did. I love what you said about not getting a ton of supplies because then you will be so overwhelmed that you won’t craft. That’s where I am with my stamping and I don’t want to do the same with my Maker.
I do however, want to make that 3-D tool holder you have. If I remember correctly, you said it was a free file.
Yes, I have a 3-D printer as well in my craft room. LOL But I’ve only used it once. I want to use it to make things for my craft room to be organized better.
Anyway, all that being said, I love your videos and all the FREE information you give out to help us use our tools more efficiently. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the help, just an idea I am always misplacing my cover or the self healing mat cover, you could add a vinyl to say “don’t throw away and a picture ” and place it on top of the self healing sheet for the mat.

Brilliant! THANK YOU for going through each thing methodically and for warning me NOT to buy everything all at once! I got my machine a week ago and I've cut out some shapes, made a thank you card and put some vinyl words on an object. I want to try to make some of the most common things so that when I *need* to make it, I've already done it once. ;-) Thanks for being clear and practical about what to get first!
