Starting and Driving a Mercedes-Benz 190E W201 After 13 Years

- Revival of a 1984 Mercedes-Benz W201 190E with 2 litre inline 4 cylinder gasoline fuel injection engine and automatic transmission, was parked in 1998, but was started and moved in and out of that same spot in that garage 13 years ago so a 1975 Chevrolet caprice classic could make the turn and park beside it... Will it start?..

used to own a green one of the same year with a 4 speed manual transmission from 1995 till 2000... the car had the same engine...my very first car... it has left very nice memories of it....
It is what the real engineers made a perfect car not robots.. ❤

The hood can actually open 90 degrees. I drive a 1990 190e 2.6L as my daily. This was such a satisfying video!
Some notable issues i’ve experienced with this car, i had a high idle issue when i first got it, and it was running super rough. There were vacuum leaks everywhere. The CIS fuel system in these cars do not like the vacuum leaks. Air flow meter was incorrectly adjusted. One of the biggest culprit was the EHA valve. Replaced that. Car runs like a dream, minus the fact it burns fairly heavy oil. But i can live with that.

@@thegamecreed133depends on a few factors. The record i once hit peak summer was 544km lol. But ya winter i average 400-430km and summer i average 450-480km a tank. 91 octane.
When car is not running optimal then looking around 380km to a tank.
Reminds me of my w124 300e miss that car. Never should have traded it good memories!

Just got mine a few days ago had been sitting 5 years, amazing condition older gentleman. He gave it to me and it cranked over with a new battery within 3 cranks it was amazing to hear it purr

You forgot to change the fuel filter. If the pump was dead and corroded, so is the filter

I had a diesel 190D beautiful car with the kaki body colour and interior one woman owner, one night I hit a pile of cane spun around hit a 18 wheeler almost head on and just bounced off the front spun around twice and slammed into the trailer almost going under bounced off the trailer wheel and spun off the other side of the road, the engine still ran but the body was totalled the roof buckled in and I walked out of it shaken unharmed,I went and completed the job I was rushing down to do came back gave my statement about the pile of sugar can that had fallen off a truck blocking the road 9pm at night a section that had street lights out on a bend just before a bridge, another truck a 18wheeler had managed to stop on the other side of the bridge while I spun out of control over the bridge after hitting the pile managed to stay on the bridge and hit the truck that stopped after the bridge no damage to the truck because I hit his front wheel before spinning into the trailer wheel, I never got charged for anything but still regret the choices I made that night.
cool video, i kinda like to watch these videos to relax myself, personally i feel like removing at least the large chunks of debis from the engine bay before working on the engine gives me more peace of mind lol
I had a 190E petrol auto I bought about 15 years ago with 300000km on it. Brakes & auto box had been done up. Motor was a bit fumy but still performed well. But the starting injector had died, so one didn't dare touch the accelerator until it decided it was going to go, else it died straight away. Otherwise, car started every time even down to -10oC. Unfortunately it was written off in an accident.

Этот Человек делает много чего неправильно с самого начала . Надо было сразу проверить искру на свечах зажигания и если что то почистить их и сделать трамблер , посмотреть подачу топлива , а уже после того пробовать завести эту машину..
Мусор надо убрать с самого начала

IT doesn" t have to rise because there is no pressure in the oil,and engine as well , until you start engine !

Filling some engine/foggingoil through the sparkplugholes to lubricate the pistons on top for first start in a long time.

I have change pump and filter,, if I out gas in the air in take Ike u did,, then it starts for awhile.. should I just continue to do that until it runs and stay running or what.?

Non capisco perchè hai fatto tutto nel senso sbagliato e hai controllato l'olio solo alla fine. Hai cercato di metterla in moto quando avevi una ruota bloccata. Non hai pensato al filtro della benzina e dell'aria. Non hai tolto nemmeno il fango sul motore. Questi lavori vanno fatti con una logica per non sprecare tempo e denaro.
