    Jesus, Kudos for the effort that went into this dude, this was a really enjoyable watch, I learned so much from it 🥰
    Just as two little additions to the litany of Xiaoyu exclusive bullshit:
    - RDS F+1+2 is a medium/high punch parry that starts up extremely fast (not sure of the exact frame). Against strings like Jins BF+2,1,d/f+2 it won't just interrupt, it will launch him for daring to try and catch her backturned. It's also safe, but is at least a little slow when the parry doesn't trigger.
    - while a pretty unconventional escape option, her RDS F,f+2+4/F,f+1+3 grab has the distinction of having frame 1 jump status. She can't evade damage with it, but as long as she has as much as a frame of wiggle room, she can add airborne scaling to an unavoidable hit, or potentially ruin a launch by making the conversion awkward.
    The second one is admittedly very rare in the wild, but I've seen Xiao players whip it out against Lee or Kazumi to avoid a hop knee after a blocked Cali roll. It will never be a Xiaoyu players first choice of trying to cheat death, but it is the proverbial kitchen sink she can toss if nothing else will work.

      Thanks man and oooh that’s definitely some good stuff for sure man! The RDS f1+2 sabaki definitely slipped my mind and the hop and throw sounds very interesting didn’t know that it had really quick jump status! Appreciate it

    Awesome vid MYK, great stuff, tons of info!!
    The ooooonly juggle I noticed missing is with Paul in rage when they don't turn around: 3,2~b,1+2, qcf+1, d/f+1~b,4 S! dash RA~B, (b+2),[1] for an unscaled ender.

    • @TheNameIsMYK
      @TheNameIsMYK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      b21 or b21 hold is oki mix tho iirc charged hits grounded but if they got up can avoid the charged but if they do get up no charged hits them bt where you get a free iron mountain. I remember going for this after ws2 oki when I was trying to have him as a secondary. But thanks man appreciate it!

  • @Topbruv

    Man this video is goated, learnt a lot! One thing I want to mention with Bryan is you can realign the opponent with b3~ws3 into 4,3,4 after 332 and ff4 after b3~ws1. I think it’s the perfect axis this works on but might be the other side not 100% sure without double checking

    For any Law players, you can also do the Shaolin Spin kicks into his DSS throw for about 90+ damage consistently. Although they can break it if the spin kicks changes the angle to a side throw. Usually his F1+3 is the better option since he reaches out for more range.

    I remember seeing a video like this a year or two ago, but could never find it again. This one's way more comprehensive though, well done.
    As a Bryan main, I must mention his 1,4,2,1, which is 100% reliable even on Xiaoyu (it's actually his best punish for her cali roll), you just have to delay the 2 & 1. Leads to minimum 100 damage, but the axis is pretty tight (though I have noticed that altering the delay timing makes it work on different axes).

    There's a whole bunch more options available for Yoshi. They're often not practical because of how slow they are, but they do have legit uses. The timing's a little tight in some cases, but you can punish King/AK/Eddy spring kicks with most of these:
    Yoshi can also get ff3,1+2 into a guaranteed KIN b2,1 for a 59 damage launcher. If they hold back they'll turn around but still get launched, and you can do a normal combo. If they hold forward or do nothing, they'll get launched backturned and you can do the usual d2,2, df1,2, uf1, cd1. Either way you get over 100 damage.
    ws1,1,1,1 is all guaranteed if you hit them in the back, for 57 damage, though from certain angles or ranges they can sometimes duck the second hit. df4 will catch them holding back for 72 total damage, but holding forward will block it.
    d2,2, df1,4 is guaranteed for 60 damage, but again, certain angles let them block the df1,4.
    If they're close to the wall, d2,2,2+3, 1+4, cd1 works. For even more damage, 3~4u, DGF 4 W!, uf1, cd1 works as well but sometimes doesn't wallsplat. SS2 is another option, and since they're BT you'll get a normal screw if you go for a two hit screw option like 2,3 or df1,2, which enables you to get a clean normal wallsplat and wall ender.
    His back throw also breaks floors. You can even combo into it from their back with NSS FC (df1),2. Not that you'd ever hit someone in the back with that in a million years, lol. But it's neat!

  • @maxwellfarris5410
    @maxwellfarris5410 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    With ganryu’s backsway, if he launches with 2,1,2 then b2,1,2 into 1+2 stance unblockable they just die. It wall splats from super far away and you can pick up with b2,1,2 into staple depending on how far away from the wall they are.

      lol I need to see this as a 100% comeback in a round sounds hilarious

  • @mcptz1438
    @mcptz1438 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    FYI, Miguel's is on BT 2,1 df12 (except Xiaoyu BT parry) or ub1,4 df12
    The ub1,4 on BT has a mixup:
    - Do uf4 if they don't hold F for launch
    - Do df41f sav 11 KND if they hold F - it puts them into a weird side turned state where i12 or faster hit (unless I'm wrong, then just do ub14 df12)
    The on BT S! b3 oki is a mixup between sav db3 and sav 2.
    - If they hold U, sav2 hits them on the back.
    - If they don't hold U, then sav db3 hits. If they hold U, they can block sav db3.
    - SAV d4(3) doesn't work if they hold U, the 2nd hit whiffs and 1st hit does very tiny damage
    - SAV df2 is really nice because of the launch on opponent holding B, but if they hold U, they can block or sav df2 even whiffs sometimes!
    Xiaoyu is a special case ... most likely best to take the 2,1 on BT punish and go for a SAV mixup that'll punish the BT parry attempt, sav 2 or sav d43 or just move around and see if they make a mistake.

    For Lee's 1,2,2,3 string in particular, it's actually a false positive vs some characters (King for example) at peculiar angles in that the 3 can whiff despite the first 3 parts hitting.
    Lately, I prefer to go for something for difficult like 4,3,3 to blazing kick which with proper timing can either do grounded dmg, or refloat vs any getup attempt.

    • @TheNameIsMYK
      @TheNameIsMYK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good info! I noticed some moves frames change the two that stuck out to me the most was Zafina’s 1 jab on the back only being +3 vs the +8 and Hwoarangs 124 being being +11 to significantly less.

  • @gajimaru2570
    @gajimaru2570 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can delay the 2nd hit of Alisa db2,2 for more consistency on the b4,4 followup. After b4,4 instead of SBT 1,2,1,3+4 which partially whiffs best damage on most characters is DBT 2,1. So depending on the situation you can go for db2,2 b4,4 DBT 2,1, or ws1,2,3 into different combo routes. At the wall the punisher for something like a King spring kick or a full sidewalk is db2,2 2,3,3, that's 73 dmg into full combo

    About Anna's DF1,2,3 on Backturned/Sideturned opponents:
    Using DF1 > DF3,2,4 > FF4D as the combo results in a really good oki situation for Anna, here are the oki options:
    WS3B: Pretty much always guaranteed, only time not guaranteed is when they sideroll clockwise when the combo is done off-axis or if they don't move at all. If they get up using Up then you can use WS3B > CAT1 > DASH DF1,2,3 which is all guaranteed if they don't duck CAT1 and resets the combo situation so you can go for the combo again for insane damage. CAT1 mixes with CATUF4 for a launching mix-up.
    FCF2: This will always hit them if they sideroll clockwise. Powercrushes through mid get up kick for guaranteed ss3 but gets counter hit by low get up kick.
    Beats people who get up with Back but if they get up with Up they can block. Misses if they don't move.
    WS2: CH launches get up kicks and launches backrollers. Doesn't hit any other option except front rolling.
    FF4: Hits grounded. Goes over low get up kick for a full launch. Safe option if they get up.
    WS1,2,3: Resets the situation if they get up with Up. Beats get up kicks. Loses to siderolls and backrolls.
    SS3: Best option for siderolling and staying down. Hits grounded. If the opponent rolls the same way that you step (or if they don't move) you can confirm the 3. If they roll any way while you're stepping ff3 which will hit their side roll or you can try to backroll catch if you delay ff3. As you're sidestepping and confirming all these options, you won't get CH by get up low and can confirm a launch if they do get up mid.

    As Noctis; F3, df2 for a full combo. After F3, you've enough frames to catch the turn with df2. Works nice against King's backturn getup kick.

    (Tested with Anna on P1 side vs. Xiao)
    Anna can get 110 dmg without rage.
    Route:
    •df3331 d32 df1 df32df32 db1(delay)4.
    With rage she can get 125 ~ 143dmg.
    Route:
    •df3331 d32 df1 df32df32 RD dash db3+4.
    db3+4 in the end should not count in the combo counter and should clean hit. Despite not being counted in the combo counter, it's guaranteed. Any wakeup that isn't the wakeup kicks gives her the 125 dmg, while doing a wakeup kick gives her 143 dmg. Gets 159 dmg if string is finished againt wake up kicks.
    Other routes that include RD:
    •df3331 RD df1 df32df32 db1(delay)4
    -This gives her 128 dmg.
    •df3331 d32 df1 df32df32 RD fcf2
    -This gives her 131 dmg.
    She has other obscure routes that could maybe get her more such as:
    •df3331 dash u2 df2
    - df2 is guaranteed except for some(?) backturn characters that can escape with parry/jump or w/e.
    - total damage depends on if opponent faced forward or not.
    •df3331 df123
    -inconsistent, seems to work for BT but a tiny bit off axis to the background.
    -total damage depends on if opponent faces forward or not.
    •df3331 RD (go under)
    -inconsistent in that you could get a faraway bounce or close bounce. Earlier combo would work with either.
    -if close bounce, she can go under for a front facing combo.

    I like to do DF4,1 as miguel on BT. its +6 and savage cancellable. its unparryable and 14F so its good in the xiao/raven MU punishes caliroll kick or cartwheels. it should leave them still BT in most instances. so you can do SAV 1,1 or SAV1,4 if near wall. otherwise, if they duck SAV2/SAV DF2. best case yet, if they try to mash to turn around you have the 1 extension that CH launches and is + on hit as well. :)

    But his 4 4 3 is guaranteed, note that 4 4 4 3 isn't because the 3rd hit can be ducked

      334 can’t be ducked on full BT only, on side you can duck.

    Kazuya can just get electric bt combo for more than the bt options

    So basically, GIGAS is the most damaging back turn punishment ?

      Hmm yeah 🤔 I guess it is but this is just from my findings there may be some stronger stuff. But I started noticing most characters didn’t break 110s without some sort of resource.
