    Is there any issue looking through the XR70 if you are wearing polarized sunglasses?

      @Tint Man FL what's the difference between the xr black/plus 70 and blue 80 besides the 10%? Are the colors different?

      @@tintmanfl do you prefer XR Black 70 over the Llumar Air 80 and other options? I'm trying to decide which tints to go with all around + the windshield. I received a quote for $1350 for Stratos + Air 80, $1050 for Pinnacle + Air 80. Then I just found some people saying Pinnacle has a brown hue. I'm looking for a neutral/black hue so I think Xpel Black may be the best choice. Just unsure about the windshield

    Tint Man Window Tinting Longwood what is the % of the glass with the film on?

    • @hawaiiguy1
      @hawaiiguy1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's good question to ask... what is the percentage of light transmittance AFTER the tint has been installed. Here in the entire State of Hawaii, none of the above can be used as they would not meet the minimum 70% light transmittance as per the Federal Guidelines...so they would not be able to pass the annual safety inspection. Even the 80 series with vehciles that come factory tinted on their windshield will fall *under* the minimum 70% light transmittance. Thus, really what we in Hawaii are only able to apply legally is the 90 series...Like Llumar Air 90, etc. With the tint meter reading, the Air 90 would show about 79/79.5% (approx) and so will pass the criteria on light transmittance. Different states are lax in this ruling.

      @@hawaiiguy1 you're all wrong on everything; it's 35% vlt, plus or minus 6% ! you can easily install 35% window film over the factory tinted windows (90-80% vlt from factory)

      @@hawaiiguy1 it seems that in Hawaii it's illegal to apply anything under the AS1 line... but the federal law says different it seems.
