My 9 yr old granddaughter and I made this for her moms birthday. I used raspberry jam inside, instead of the gel. And devils food cake. It won’t have the splatter effect, but the chocolate and raspberry is delicious.
Is the cake still edible after the bl**d stay in the baloon? I really wish to make this for a birthday, but i want it to be safe and i know in the baloons there are some fine dust and i suppose the plastic is not food safe D:
It would be very helpful if you could tell us the exact clear gel this like a link and not just saying what we could use . The tutorial is great but without that very helpful information it’s likes ???

you can use neutral gel also know as cold glaze

hi you can clean the balloon and dry it before using it.It will be safe :)

the frosting is buttercream? can i use whipping cream also?
whipping cream you can use
What is the gel?
can we refrigerate the cake before cutting it? will the fake blood become solid?
in that case you will need to bring it to room temper for 30-40 minute before cutting
