UP Marysville Sub In the Fairbury, Nebraska Vicinity, May 21, 2023

My friend Charlie and I decided to take a break from the BNSF around Lincoln, Nebraska and ventured down to the vicinity of Fairbury, Nebraska to watch some UP trains. Though traffic was light, it was still an exciting day. As we headed back toward home, we still managed to capture a BNSF Lincoln to Denver train as we ended the day.

Some great catches here Eric. I especially liked the fresh UP repaints. We haven't seen many of those around these parts yet. Hopefully they will venture out to the Chicago-St. Louis line soon. Looks like you guys had a great day of railfanning.

I used to work that line many years ago between Chicago and St. Louis. It has changed tremendously since I last worked it in 2004.
