- Life in Mexico City is not always that easy - at least not when you're the owner of a vintage VW T2 campervan! Our plans about road tripping through Mexico in a vintage VW T2 bus from 1976 named Tortuga might have to be cancelled when we discovering problems after problems.
In this episode we discover that big amounts of gasoline is leaking out of the tank. And once we send Tortuga to the mechanic they discover A LOT more problems.. so will we ever be able to road trip in the old VW T2 campervan or are our plans cancelled?

Earlier this year we spent 2,5 months in Mexico City in La Condesa area together and then headed to Puerto Escondido (La Punta, Punta Zicatela) and Mazunte for a couple of great weeks. We then headed back to Denmark spending 4 months renovating our new tiny cabin and enjoying time with friends and family. Now we hop on a plane and head for more adventures out in the beautiful world.

I remember travelling a lot in those old VW vans when I was a child; sooo cool to see you have one in such a good shape (apart from the recent issues)
Yes for sure! Luckily we have Nicholas, and he has been a real hero 🦸♂️ haha. The old VW vans are really magic buuuut they also break down often haha. A day without a break down is a good day 😂 But despite the issues we enjoy Tortuga a lot! Cheers 🤙🏼☀️🌴
