I found your wonderful channel not too long ago..I've been trying to watch a bunch of your videos as I've been learning lenormand for not too long(sorry if my English is not that well) I learned there is a lenormand system and you always have to read the cards in pairs..the 1st card is the subject and the following js the details..the describing card..so 2 cards will always add to eachother and if there's a 3rd then there is even more description. In this video you are reading the cards separately more like tarot. I have never seen them read this way nor the German or French way. Which way is this lenormand that you teach? Is it just reading lenormand cards and not reading the lenormand system? I find your way is easier for me to understand. Thank you.
Hello Alex. I'm a traditional reader and am teaching the original system that was previously unknown in the English-speaking world. My teacher was Bjorn Meuris. First, know that cards are not read in pairs but in groups of cards that describe a focus card or create a story for a narrative reading (like reading a novel or a comic strip). The first card is only the subject if you chose it to be your focus card or if you're reading with no question or context and are allowing the cards to give you a subject. There's a lot of misinformation on the internet, so my advice to everyone is the same. Learn the original system that this deck was designed for. Once you have a solid foundation, add your own style. And, for your last question, I'd like to quote Lenormand expert, Andy Boroveshengra: "there's a difference between someone who uses Lenormand and someone who reads Lenormand." The reason you find my way easier is because I'm teaching you to READ Lenormand rather than USE Lenormand. 😃
