    I am a beginner. Love your video tutorials! Ty ❤️😊
    I see crisp thick outlines on tattoos, so... my question is.
    How do you determine the size of needle you start off with when doing the outline of a tattoo or wording?

    i was hoping you would refer to the 0.20mm/0.30mm/0.35mm numbers and what they are actually referring to aside from the 05, 07,09,11, which refer to the size of the needle. That would be super helpful ty.

    • @Amused_Comfort_Inc
      @Amused_Comfort_Inc ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The mm numbers ARE the sizes of the Guage
      The size of the Guage is described in mm , so a 12 Guage IS 0.35 mm

    Hey bud thank you so much for this video. Could anyone help me clarify something though.
    I apologies as I am just starting off but..
    So I understand the
    #12 standard .35mm
    #10 .30mm
    #8 bug pin .25mm
    But I keep hearing names such as
    3 liner
    5 liner ..
    they don’t clarify the gage size that’s all they say.. I’m a bit confused on these “liners” could anyone clarify ?.. sorry if this is a stupid question.

    • @EniyahWilliams
      @EniyahWilliams ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Example: 1205RL
      12 is your gage
      05= 5 needles in the cartridge
      RL= round liner
      Example: 1003RM
      10 is your gage
      03= 3 needles in the cartridge
      RM= Round Magnum
      i hope this helps! if youre still a little confused i watched “TATTOO NEEDLES EXPLAINED” by Ben Fisher Tattoo Method Pro. hes really good at explaining!

    Why not just saulder the needles at 2mm , so that it's not possible to go too deep? I think this would prevent blowouts?

    • @andreeashaleta8658
      @andreeashaleta8658 ปีที่แล้ว

      you'll be riding the cartridge so ink will go everywhere and you'll have to wipe the ink away causing the stencil to disappear

    • @lostfound7275
      @lostfound7275 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andreeashaleta8658 why would I be riding the tube? I mean saulder the needles at 2mm, so that even if you float the needle far out, it still cannot penetrate more than 2mm.. plus, my stencil sticks on skin VERY well, and it's not really possible to wipe it away, secondly you don't "wipe" the ink away, you dab it... I think you just aren't understanding what I mean. Lol.... But stencil on practice skin wipes away easy....on prepped human skin,and let it dry, it sticks really good
