About that vanilla cake, I totally adore your recipe for the cake! I made it recently and trust me it was the most heavenly vanilla cake i ever made. Definitely will love to try this lemon meringue cake too! And am i the only one who misses Mondays for bigger bolder baking too?

That is the cornstarch, I use this to prevent the curd soaking into the cake :)

So for the meringue i would advise you to dip a finger in the egg white and sugar mixture and make sure you do not feel any granules of sugar instead of just feeling the temperature of it
Well! It is dissolved when it is being whipped in the warm egg whites, all is good! :)

I love lemon meringue! This is a great idea! Maybe I'll make it for Easter!
Could you do video about frosting? I try to make it few times and in all that cases it was disaster! I've never had a "frosting" in my cake because of that. The video could be informative (about different types of frosting and they structure) or you could post some recipe (with video).

Yes, lemon curd and meringue are a perfect match! Also creme brulee is a great way to use them up!

This looks so good! A friend of mine loves Lemon/Raspberry desserts and her birthday is a couple months. Do you have a recipe for a Raspberry filling that I could possibly alternate with the lemon curd in this style of cake? Do you think that would come together well with the meringue? I don't know why it wouldn't.
