    • @czkmeister
      @czkmeister ปีที่แล้ว +55

      @@obligatedlizard728 Exynos 9825 in the Note 10+ was fine. Exynos 990 is the S20 series was a ridiculous disaster. Exynos 2100 was very good in the S21 series, I still have my S21U and it performs amazingly well. Exynos 2200 wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.
      Now for the Exynos 1280 in the A53, that was pretty much just as bad as the 990, except without that performance, it's a pretty laggy chip. The Exynos 1380 so far looks pretty good, performance is on par with the competition and it has good battery life, but those are only benchmark tests, I'm curious to see how it performs in real life. But so far it looks rather promising, at least more than the Exynos 1280 ever did.
      So far not all Exynos chips were bad, but I do concur that there were some really bad apples. IMO as Samsung went for the Snapdragon for the S23 series they should've just put the 7gen1 in the A54.

    I have the A52s. I bought it for around 370 dollars and am pleased with my decision. There are a few issues with the A52s camera: the UW camera struggles quite a bit in low light, and OIS doesn't work because the images in the dark have too much noise at high ISO. One more tip: you have to hold your A52s extra steady while clicking in the dark using night mode. The selfie camera has some beautification mode enabled by default. Overall, it offers good value for money. And there's no going back once you get used to 120 Hz, I suppose. Waiting for one UI 5.1 update.

    I remember I owned the Galaxy A5 2017 new when it came out. Beautiful design, powerful chipset, glass back with metal frame. Bought for about $383 which is really worth it. Came with usb type C with 18W fast charging and most important the IP68 rating. I've been throwing the phone in several swimming pools, been in heavy rain but still working to this day. The build quality for the A series now will never be same as the A series in 2017. But quite tempting with the features it offers with it price, and it's a Samsung ofc.

      I agree! Just look at the tiny bezels on cheaper Honor Magic 5 Lite or upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 (released now in China as OnePlus Ace 2v) and we'll see how outdated the front on both Samsung's are! But I have nothing against A34's "nipple notch" 😛😁. And how about boths slow 25 W charging with no charger included? Samsung is the slowest of all! My cheap Super AMOLED 6,43" OnePlus Nord CE 2 (5g) have 67 W charging and the charger is in the box, plus a free quality case also for the phone included (none on Samsung). Those things should matter since for most customers it will be at least 50€ or $£ more to spend. But Samsung wins in OS updates, it's the best in that category.

More seriously speaking it's a thing you don't think of when you use the phone, no not the nipple😉, I mean which one if it's a notch or punch hole, it will mean nothing usually when you're using the phone. A punch hole is just as distracting when playing games or watching movies (if not even more sometimes).

      while the A54 may have longer software and security updates, a marginally improved camera, and bigger battery 5000 mah compared to 4500.

    I cannot count the times my Pixel 5 has hit the ground so far and only got a few scratches on the resin body instead of the entire thing shattering, like it happened on my wife's Mate 20 Pro.

I still have a Sony Xperia XZ1 from 2017 and it has a single metal casing , and gorilla glass 5 on the front, dropped it BADLY so many times and it is still sound, even the screen. @themuslimmountainbiker ปีที่แล้ว

      @rko32491 no it wasn't "just me" but the phone.....the phone fell....not me. The phone landed lenses first from a short distance. The reason it obliterated is because it landed on a hard/dense rock. It has nothing to do with me but the fact that these lenses cannot tolerate certain upward forces....ie hard rocks. That's how physics works and newton's law...it is worsened by the lenses protuding. I was hiking in Canada. If as an example you spend all your time in night clubs, parking lots, street corners and fast food places then I imagine you won't have the same experience. The individually protruding lens design doesn't work....makes it even more susceptible to damage. The standard S22 does not have individually protuding lenses so is not comparable.
