Is the Samsung video and picture quality Noticaebly Better or Worse than the motorola? How does it compare for battery life while shooting Video and pictures? which is more "rugged/drop resistant? is ruggedness "noticeably different bewteen the cameras? I know the motorola I have has a metal frame. (I'll probably have phones in protecive case.) I don't want to "upgrade" to the Samsung if the Picture and Video quality is not as good or maybe not even if it is not Noticeably Better... Have you noticed if it 1080 video good? As good as its 4k of course with the exception of "line detail?" How do these cameras compare with battery life when shooting video? Oh, can the Samsung shoot proper horizontal video, but while holding the Phone/camera vertically like you can with the motorola? Thanks. Have a great day. 🙂
The A54 here in Saudi is 300 pounds, way cheaper than the price in this video. It has 8gb of ram and the same processor. Weird how much more expensive it is in the UK, I tried to find something that's worse with my version but it looks like every spec is the same but the price is way cheaper.
I have a 9 year old Samsung Galaxy S4. I only use it for phone calls and text messages, but the battery life is very poor now. The A54 looks so pretty, but is it worth the hefty price tag?
I was looking forward to buying the A54, but it just feels like a an A50. Doesn't it look a bit outdated? The chipset is acceptable but the price is not. If I had the money I would definitely go for a Pixel. 2023 is not bringing good smartphones. Or is it just me?
Yeah of course it is. Mediatek chips are underrated. Samsung should be using those in the A line instead of the Exynos. Unfortunately it looks like their going with the Exynos in the A35 and the A55.
@@StrikeWeather250 Last year before it was optimized it used to lag. Now they optimized the Exynos 1380 so it's pretty smooth and it doesn't really lag or heat up anymore. I wish it had better battery life though. The 1480 on the A55 has better battery life apparently.
Those lenses are easily prone to damage unfortunately. Cases have cut outs but lenses break on impact. A pain to get extra lens protection too. Main lens on my s22 ultra smashed and phone was in a case....only fell about 80cm
@rko32491 no it wasn't "just me" but the phone.....the phone fell....not me. The phone landed lenses first from a short distance. The reason it obliterated is because it landed on a hard/dense rock. It has nothing to do with me but the fact that these lenses cannot tolerate certain upward forces....ie hard rocks. That's how physics works and newton's law...it is worsened by the lenses protuding. I was hiking in Canada. If as an example you spend all your time in night clubs, parking lots, street corners and fast food places then I imagine you won't have the same experience. The individually protruding lens design doesn't work....makes it even more susceptible to damage. The standard S22 does not have individually protuding lenses so is not comparable.
In addition to the S and Note series, other Samsungs should not be bought, it is better to buy a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra at the same price as this one and you will prove that its performance is 2 times greater than the A models of Samsung 2022!

@@goldhighlighter144 A53 suffered because its processor had only 2 performance cores. So doesn't matter if it was exynos or sd. A54 has 4 performance cores so performance would be way better just like pixel 6a.
I don't like how smaller they made the screen on the a54 , 6.6" is the sweet spot for most devices . So now if you want a midrange Samsung your most unlikely going for these .
The 6.4-inch A54 is actually larger than the 6.6-inch S23+ in physical size. The S23+ has smaller bezels, allowing for a larger display to fit in a smaller space. While the A54 may resemble the S23+ in appearance and feel, it is not as space-efficient.
Naah.I'm not so sure about that screen size being the sweet spot. I think phones are now becoming like PC's,and every form factor has it's fanboyz. you get the "pimp my room" gamers with huge rigs that occupy half their bedrooms...happy to belch out big audio to drown out big fans and big heat....windows replaced with heatsinks you get the bang for the buckers, who go regular rather than supersize, but still expect the rig to pack a punch( s2x/iphone normals) then you get average joe.....who needs to change his pc every 5 years when windows runs out of support, has no knowledge of pc parts, and happy to get local retail to pick for them. then you get the SFF mini maniacs that want stupid performance(including shrunken graphics) in the most miniature format possible to sit in the corner and make no noise, so like cars!!!!
Which one is plastic and polycarb because I don't like polycarb because it's scratches the material because I like the model of the A52 that I have as it's plastic both behind and the sides, that's what I need to know
Owners of Galaxy s23+ are so disappointed, why make the same design?))) Such a stupid move from samsung... People buy expensive phones also for their design, i would even say that they buy them predominantly because of the design... and here you go and give the design of the premium phone to a budget phone.... taking into account that the basic features are completely the same for both phones, why would you then expect people overpay, idiots.... galaxy S users will switch to some other brand next time definitely...

I know the motorola I have has a metal frame. (I'll probably have phones in protecive case.) Those lenses are easily prone to damage unfortunately. Cases have cut outs but lenses break on impact. A pain to get extra lens protection too. Main lens on my s22 ultra smashed and phone was in a case....only fell about 80cm
I have the s20 ultra and it hasnt smashed
22 and hadn't smashed. That's just you. I've dropped mine from higher and harder surfaces. Never had a problem with a samsung phone breaking

Honestly the smaller the screen the better for me, I need a smaller screen for my small hands
The 6.4-inch A54 is actually larger than the 6.6-inch S23+ in physical size. The S23+ has smaller bezels, allowing for a larger display to fit in a smaller space. While the A54 may resemble the S23+ in appearance and feel, it is not as space-efficient.
