SBD Dauntless ride

Oh man that must’ve been fun! Been trying to catch a ride along show near me, but they canceled this years. Oh well, I prefer them in the repair shop vs going down in one! The Dauntless is such an awesome airplane.
This one is a really cool ride vid, most are in big bombers. Would be cool if they did a dive in that Dauntless, I’m sure I’d pass out 😂
I’ll never forget building a plastic model Dauntless and having to had drill all the flap holes 😂

Wonder if you pay extra will they take you up to 15,000, nose it over to 70 deg down and drop the dive brakes? That would be the dive bomber experience for sure....lol. Neat that there is still one of these in operation.

That would be awesome, My guess is though they wouldn't as that is alot of strain on the airframe and they want to preserve it
