Super Simple Summary | Divine Comedy: Inferno, Canto IX

Finally, a short episode!
As an addendum to this episode: unsurprisingly, I feel that I understand each Canto more and more each time I go thru it, and I think the conversation I had with my friend here slightly misrepresents Circle 6. The Heretics aren't just any people who deny the supernatural, but people who should know better: specifcally those who are otherwise spirtual, yet deny certain spiritual things, like the immortality of the soul. I don't fully understand it right now, but I suppose the best word is the one the Canto itself uses: Heresy.
