@@Primalliquid92 No 100% they changed how spiritbonding works, we are only getting 2% spiritbond per hit now I don't think anything changes when stacking the manuals and pots
Gathering materials and selling them : 90% of the income Crafting : spending millions on melds only for a small margin of added value, which could have been better spent gathering more and selling the extra mats.
all my melds are grade 9/10 which were farmed myself last expansion. top end crafters never buy materia because we have insanely huge collections of it
What crafting macros are you using to get HQ lvl 100 gear and tools? I feel like I need to use at LEAST 2 HQ mats to get a HQ piece. Quick crafting mats kind of hampers your HQ mat return, you know? Do you have a way to make gear without using HQ mats? You're probably better off just crafting the HQ mats and selling them for more. It takes time, but by mass crafting you're missing out on profit and if you can't craft the gear without HQ mats then no one will buy the NQ mats. I am NOT getting 1% on every craft too. It's more like 1% every other craft. Do you need to be pentamelded? I am not melded, but using the same food. Pentamelding doesn't effect bond though, right?
Hello, I have 90m gil. My friend who quit the game years ago gave it to me. fishing 100 harvest and miner 50-65, I'm thinking of making them 100 lvl. But I didn't do any crafting. Which crafts should I do first or where should I start?
You can just craft collectables and trade scripts for materia Instead of gathering and crafting items to sell. Also spiritbond potions when doing FATES too. Since you level sync to the FATE level, you always get maximum spirit bond.
So, I'm a bit confused. This is gonna sound like I'm calling you out and I promise I'm not, I'm trying to emulate this haha. Are you saying it took you only 6-8 hours to grind up: 4k Ra'Kaznar Ore 6k Magnesia Powder 1k Titanium Gold Ore 800 White Gold Ore 1k Raw Black Star 1k Truegold Ore 800 Truegold Sand 900 Acacia Logs 1k Acacia Bark 2k Claro Walnut Logs 2k Levinsilk 450 Gargantua Hides That's 20,950 things gathered in 8 hours? Seems impossibly quick to just go out and get these things yourself. Even assuming a 4x Gathering bonus on every node, with a perfect (3) Bountiful Harvest and Blessed Harvest 2 up on every node (impossible, but let's argue), you'd get 9 things per swing or 32 things per node. That's 655 Nodes to get 20950 things. It takes about 20 seconds per node clicking the buttons or a macro for them then another 10 seconds travel time to the next node. At 30 seconds from node to node, you're looking at almost 6 hours of work under perfect conditions. Under normal conditions you're getting far less per swing (2-3 at best), which drastically increases the time. Even with Revisit proc'ing every so often, I can't see anyone grinding up this amount of mats in less than 10-12 hours under normal conditions. Now, the Gargantua Hides you'd just buy with Bicolor Gemstones which you'd need about 1350 to do so, which would take about 80-90 minutes or so to grind up if you're Hunt Training (I've done this several times already myself it takes about an hour for 1k gems). So that reduces the time grinding nodes by a bit but the net time is increased because it wouldn't take an hour to farm 450 of anything even doing auto-gathering. Were you using your retainers to gather as well? That's a factor not considered in this analysis because I personally only have three haha.
so, the EW mats i already had and yes i had retainers gathering for me, 2 botanist and 2 miner, i also had a small stash of the materials already. also for more efficency dont use blessed harvest, only use bountiful. blessed is a waste of gp unless you have a 6 integrity node
