- After billions of years of turmoil during which our planet created extreme temperatures and pressures, the earth’s crust is now a complex mixture of different types of rocks and minerals. Sometimes some of these may make their way to the surface, or be exposed as we dig down to find valuable materials… and, with a range of different colors and formations, they can be incredible to look at. It's time, then, to see some of the best examples, as we reveal the 15 coolest looking rocks ever found.

A gemstone video that actually uses images and videos of the actual gemstone your talking about!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Mother earth is amazing I've always loved crystals , gem stones , minerals. Thank you very informative
A particular types of gypsum called Selenite, should be on this list. I don’t wana ruin the surprise for you, so just look up Mexico’s giant crystal cave and be astonished.

You can dig that for free well the park pass for the salt flats in OK in the US heck most locals have long forgotten about the salt flats

So many neat looking rocks, I'd bet they'd make lovely jewelery!!!
How long do you keep your hair? I admire ladies that grow theirs impressive lengths, describe it and how it looks?
I'm digging the information literally and figuratively. Thank you for teaching me more about rocks in 20 minutes than I ever learned in 12 years from school. I appreciate it considering I live by the rock river in rock county.. lol
Thanks so much for the valuable information and history of the stones
Thank you for sharing this awesome information.
This is the coolest geology video ......thank you for sharing it.

16:46 no one going to mention that rock vibrating!!!😮😮it shock a little bit then a lot all by itself 😮😮
Lapis was prefered to azurite for pigment. Easier to grind into a fine powder. Da vinci used it foe indigo and various shades of blue.
Where is Opals, Those are beautiful
Educational and informative video 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
I was fully expecting to be disappointed by this but I was so impressed by it that I subscribed
It’s very fun to collect find trade these rocks. I’m lucky enough to live in area with high numbers of crystals and caves
Ossidiana [ vulcano] Lapislazzuli 🤩🤩 , bornais, ecc ecc very very Beautiful..Thank you
I founds a pretty cool rock on a hike last week. Kinda looks like Florida, it should be on this list
Wow 😮
So did anybody notice the amethysts cluster vibrate to the point of shaking then stops then starts shaking again yet none of the other ones moved at all so am eye thyst crazy or what
I have a piece of Bornite and had no idea
Would rather have these than diamonds! Much more beautiful!
Do you have diamonds? We can swap.😊
I definitely would love to have them rocks. Or crystals. I want to start a collection. Can I have them all. Lol. I would collect all of them.
Etsy is a great place to find crystals.
I wonder why malachite wasn’t on this list.
Green is common in nature, blue is not. So, when choosing a secondary mineral of copper carbonate, they chose the more rare, beautiful azurite. Malachite has enough press already as it is.
Chris Kane discovered the rock that makes things roll 😎
❤
😉
That fire obsidian is the prettiest rock I've ever seen
If I ever get married I want my ring to be made of that stone
Chips easily
I just learned of it last week. Wish I could show you pictures of some I came across! However, remember it's a volcanic glass. So it will scratch and chip easily. Not ideal for a ring. Beautiful for a pendant ❤
Stunned the narrator pronounces "chalcedony" correctly.
I love Mexican fire agates too
Very beautiful gems! Thank you for your video. Btw, i am watching you from Russia
So in Montana/Wyoming we have the Yellowstone colldeera. Wouldn't it be an honest hypothesis that her lava tubes would contain diamonds, gold, among other things?
Great Admin!
Thank you for this huge volume of information about each Gem type, composition and origins. Fascinating. Isn't Mother Earth clever! We humans need to be more appreciative about the privilege of living here.
I remember having a good sized piece of iron pyrite back when I was in sixth grade. No idea where that rock is since it has been since 1985 when I was 11.
Wow! very nice!
I have each of these ❤️ our mother is so creative
Malachite is beautiful
The feeling of florite in the hand is warm and cool
WOW 🤩 VIDEO 📼 I TS BEAUTIFUL 😊 MEGIC ,Mineral..VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU 👍🌟👋👏👏🙌🤝🤝👍🟠🔵🟣🔝💖
Well, every single one is in the collection. 🎉 nature is a badass creator. ❤
Where is the opal in your thumbnail? CLICKBAIT
A mineral is not a rock.A rock is made of a combination of minerals.
NERD! HAHAHA just joking...
Lol 🎉❤
very interesting.
i appreciate an Australian black opal, well, ok, all Australian opal! also, your thumbnail is erroneous as to the content of the video, but at least not in the click bait fashion. let me explain with the following.
A rock is made up of more than 1 mineral
A crystal is a mineral with a crystalline structure (atoms that form a repetitive shape)
A mineral is a solid inorganic substance that forms naturally
A stone is a non-metallic mineral or rock
✌️🐝➕
I love that it is called Tigers eye when Tiger's pupils are not verticle.
this is so cool
I have that Oring one what is supposed to be valuable I fond it in a river
Wow! THANK YOU!
The Azurite @1:50 looked like topographical map!
Nice pic 😻👍
God is such an amazing creator. I am particularly fond of Tiger Eye.

Are you a lady with very long hair? I admire woman that grow theirs luxurious lengths, describe it and how it looks?
@@danielobrien1571 what's your IQ?
@@Chody1227 I'm complementing you on your profile picture, curious if you're a female with longer hair. I have an admiration for ladies that grow their hair impressive lengths and find it to be beautiful.
@@danielobrien1571 i think you should check into an asylum.
@@Chody1227 Well, to that I say take care and have a good life.
Have you ever heard of Ilivanite
No 😅
Spokane Washington where can I find them
I thought Lapis Lazuli was only in Minecraft!!!!
What about opal?
Why didn't you mention opal? You know, the one in the thumbnail picture!
Rock looks like a coral reef with water on too
Pov: you didn't keep those neck muscles extended
And yes if you're wondering, i searched for this video specifically to comment this
😅
Supercool😎
So you show a picture of an opal for your video yet it is never mentioned as being one of the coolest rocks? I was expecting to see some really spectacular stones and was disappointed. The video was informative and well made but how could you leave out opal or fire Agate or rainbow moonstone?? Lol Cheers
I believe Strontium produces PINK gas.
Washington where can I find them Spokane Washington
👍
whats the rock from the thumbnail tho
Looks like opal with fire agate inside if that is even possible 🤔
Did my AI man say people were using osidian for seven HUNDRED THOUSAND years?! wow, that shifts the timeline a bit
11:15 those are some high quality gas station arrowheads!
NO- im sorry but they DO NOT "run" on their knuckles especially like a gorilla does, what they do is they "fully commit" to the run by leaning over and almost "pedaling" with their arms! Amazing to remember....
God’s creation is beautiful 🤩
Nevada has azurite and rodo💯
Carnelian, fluorite, fire opal is in nevada too
Actually nevada has almost all those 😂
i have the tiger eye
So are Earthworks.
go timmy
Eye candy
should have included turquoise
I think my favorite specimen is my 50+ carat raw tsavorite.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one #kkuwan Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅
this is basically the definition of "nerd"
Yeah sorry but opals are more beautiful then anything on this list
Where is bacan from Indonesia?
I'm curious why the narrator is purposely mispronouncing the names of several of these rock and crystals.
my stuff I find is ten times more colorful and extremely more beautiful here on the Washington 100 miles from ocean shores and64 miles m miles from seattle
😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤
Reported for click bait. Thanks.
Why would you report something like that it's childish behavior if you report this video you might as well report every single video online
@jasonwinters2708 How about I worry about other videos I report. I'd rather have childish behaviour than have sleazy and desperate behaviour. And no, not every single video is like this, just probably the birds of that same feather.
Why?
What could you possibly be angry about? 😅 and you can't report for click bait. That's not one of the cate😢😂 nice try tho
Rock lover
The only thing that's clickbait is all of these are just rocks the only look the way they do when polished and cut so you will pretty much never see any of these in nature
That’s not true…. I prospect in Maine and there’s more than one rare mineral here that’s just as beautiful raw as polished
Shows them most bog standard minerals.
There are WAY cooler minerals than these.
How did these wonderful beautiful Rocks, Gems, Minerals come to be? There is DEFINITELY A SUPREME BEING, MANY INDIVIDUALS AROUND THE WORLD IDENTIFY THE SUPREME BEING AS THE GOD OF ALL CREATION-SEEN AND UNSEEN.
I lick rocks 🪨 😅
11:10 700,000 years ago?? please get some basic facts right.
0:54 No need to mention that nonsensical, superstitious, flat-Earth, smoothbrain bs.
Great video otherwise.
4:20 Visually, this could pass for Methamphetamine...
What bout FE? I'd say you are on meth... and there is no need to mention FE, or meth. But, here you are...
I’m so done with click bait. Why, your vid would have been ok without it, you get a 👎🏽
So much false info here, also its scolecite not skolasite
Click bait
Isn't it amazing what God has created? 😊😊
yo
Yes!
Yes,Gary. Truly amazing! Thank you God and Jesus.
Hmm... or physics...
Amazing!
I HATE ROCKS
If you hate rocks then don’t watch this video it is not that hard
I identify as a rock, why do you hate my kind?
If u hate them don't watch this vido
Lol so glad you're here to make that statement 🤣 you do know. If there wasn't rocks there wouldn't be an earth 😅
I have 100 lbs of tigers eye all different colors. This video is AI generated lies. I hate these videos not made with care and effort by people who are interested personally in what they upload. As soon as i hear this AI voice i stop watching
Rocks are awesome things in The nature, definietely i like rocks what are on The beaches near of The seas, rivers or lakes. I would like to try found a cave and discover a rare rock, purple IS My favourite color so i Want found a purple colored rock. Cooliest rock i've ever founded IS a rock what Looks like a Heart. By The Way on july we are going to Lapland with My family and We're going finding and getting an amethyst rocks from amethyst caves. After that we are going try to get a gold. That video was awesome and so interesting. ⛰️💎
Hey have you ever heard of purpurite? It is shiny and purple 💜 honeycomb ruby is man made but it's a vivid fuchsia color and glows crazy under uv light. I've also seen some aura coated quartz that is purple, man made coating but it's so beautiful 😍
Lepidolite is another cool purple one, unicorn stone too, of course fluorite, there's also some rainbow pyrite that has a purple-y rainbow sheen to it
@@valeriew4833 I've never heard of it before this, thank you for telling it! 💜
