I'm just curious. Do you ever make beads out of them. so you can make a necklace........... I found a round rock like the one that you have. I'm not too sure if it's called the Thunder Egg Rock like the one you have. I know when I shake it it sounds like it's got liquid in it. I don't know if it's a druzy kind of rock my acknowledgment of these kind of rocks are not the smartest. I watched one of these videos. We're a big machine was crushing these kind of rocks. And it had liquid in it. And someone made a comment the water could be millions of years old I don't know I'm not going to attempt to break it open. I would need a professional to do that
I was thinking the sky above a lake! Either way, yes, beautiful and scenic. And the second-to-last kinda looks like the outline of a bird... which gets back to the whole thunderbird egg idea, and I love it!
The last cut 8:12 one is a perfect landscape with a beautiful cloudy sky. How wonderful is nature. Thanks for showing, I watch you from the Netherlands. Love it
I took the grand kids to Richardson's Rock Ranch some years ago. We dug rocks for a few hours and came home with a bucket of thunder eggs. Great fun and you get a surprise when you cut them open. Cheers
4:30 That looks like a maple leaf! The one on the left looks like a Seacliff, surrounded by fog, and the one on the right, looks like the oncoming edge of a thunderstorm at sunset.
The first looked like birds flying into rain over a body of water. The last one looked like clouds over an ocean. Those were my favorites. The big one really shows off why they call them thunder eggs. It looks like lightning hit it.
Wonderful rocks. Thank you for sharing and big thanks to Martha for her gift to you. The super large egg is amazing. I wonder where the other half got to. 😃😃😃😃😃
So much fun! They're beautiful, the last one you cut is my favorite of the smaller ones Martha gifted you.The big one, already polished,is spectacular!! What lovely gifts.I'm from Oregon, the home of many a thunder egg including the largest known:1.75 tons,on display in Hillboro OR.It's so much fun watching as you open stones to see the beauty inside;thank you for sharing with us.
I love the first thunder egg. It truly looked like a storm with tornados or waterspouts over water. Just amazing! I need to research thunder eggs. TY for all your amazing content!
I see beautiful scenes in some of the thunder eggs you have cut . Really enjoy the suspense when you open a cut rock and we see the inner rock mystery never before seen by the human eyes.
These were awesome. I loved the first one, it looked like seagulls taking off from the sea surface. I live on the Oregon coast so look for agates all the time. You make it look so easy to saw these.
@ 6:15 it reminds me of a masters oil painting of a low hanging tree (on left) beside a pond with early morning mist rising, white clouds in the background, it looks pastoral. . 😌
I collect bonfire seaglass and I find it fun to figure out which side was up when solidifying. I see the same in these, the milky area being where the original sediment settled out, and the clear sections where up. at 3:53 you can even see pebbles that settled into the lowest parts, the white sealing them in.
The 3rd from the gigantic one.. looks like a pair of dancing bears to me! Thank you Martha, sharing feels soo so good, thank you for doing it!😊🙏✅️💐👍🙋♂️
Your video just came up on my feed. Fascinating! I subscribed. Had my first experience with hunting for different types of rocks in 8th grade science class (1960), but never realized how beautiful the interior could be. Looking forward to more interesting videos and knowledge.
6:19 it looks like a landscape painting, darker foreground, big tree or cliff on the left, right hand side looking out across foggy lake at the tree line. To me, that's a genuinely magical find.
"Wow, what an incredible journey into the heart of thunder eggs! Thank you, Agate Dad, for sharing this mesmerizing experience of cutting and exposing 5 thunder egg cores. Richardson's Ranch truly holds some stunning treasures. Your passion for lapidary and minerals shines through in each video. Looking forward to more fascinating explorations from your channel! #agatedad #lapidary #minerals"
I was in Pueblo Colorado in the early 70's a Mrs. Peterson, a world famous rock hound cut a slab right in front of me of Montezuma's Feathers, it was the exact profile of a native with a feather headdress! Most amazing thing I have ever seen. She was an amazing lady! she gave me a 450 year old ring I am wearing right now!
Amazing on some of them it reminds me of standing in a cave entrance and looking out to sea, it’s like your mind is playing tricks. Love them and never heard of them nor have I ever seen them before, beautiful they really are.
They didn't disappoint, they were beautiful, I think my favourite was the 3rd one.... and what a beauty that huge one is, definitely needs to be displayed 👍😍😍😍😍😍
3:44 looks like a littel turtle 🐢 guy. Like a Mario Brothers turtle! That jumbo is ay-mazing! Love the channel and content Taylor keep up the good work man!
It's almost if like whatever created the inside was so fast and bright it immediately glassed in the silicone melting a perfect picture of the scene around it... Like inverted mirroring glass frozen in time picture ...is why the light and the objects in front of the light, bled through and through almost... Creating a 3-D snapshot of a long time ago... It's very interesting and great work cutting in the direction... You gained skill and knowledge... Amazing 🎉🎉🎉
the 4th rock's center looks like a creature of some sort & has the most bands that i've seen. the 1 after it looks like a mini painting in it. the mega 1 looks good & interesting. 1st rock was interesting as well.
That big egg appears to possibly be a Lucky Strike egg from Oregon. The rhyolite surrounding the beauty looks about right. The other ones are quite possibly from Richardson's Rock Ranch. I have a half/half chalcedony and opal egg not dissimilar to the one you cut! Great examples of what the best of Thundereggs can get you! :) I've loved living in Oregon. The rocks are decidedly the one thing I'll miss the most. (Moving back to OH/MI in a couple weeks).
My great uncle gave me one of these when I was very young and he told me to hold onto it, it was a dragon egg. The agate is gorgeous and there's a mossy look, like a green pond with a white shore.

WHAT IS A THUNDER EGG
@@lyndapurcell4450 I'm wondering the same. And where are they found?
What's a Thunder Egg, where are they found?
The last thunder egg you cut is awesome! It looks like a mountain with a lake below. Really scenic! Beautiful! 😊
I was thinking the sky above a lake! Either way, yes, beautiful and scenic. And the second-to-last kinda looks like the outline of a bird... which gets back to the whole thunderbird egg idea, and I love it!
Yes,agreed. The last one cut was spectacular. I do digital photography & one side looked like a sunset with rays outing from clouds. I LOVE that one
The second to the last looks like a stormy ocean. The deep blues with the white storm clouds, it was beautiful.
The last cut 8:12 one is a perfect landscape with a beautiful cloudy sky. How wonderful is nature. Thanks for showing, I watch you from the Netherlands. Love it
Ikr? All we needed was some happy trees.
I'm 32 years old and have never heard of a thunder egg until this video. That's cool as hell.
My farm here in Zambia I usually find these stones near the plain where we dig sand, kindly help me get connected to the people who can buy them.
Same!
We have them in Oregon. That's what got my dad into cutting slabs from agate when I was a kid.
I even have one that my dad cut that had Amethyst in it
I like your enthusiasm, optimism and always cheerful presentation, sharing your excitement with us.
I’m glad ❤️
Never heard of Thunder Eggs ! They’re very interesting and pretty . Thanks ! 👍

All are stunning 🤩 thank you for sharing the beauty in these Thunder Eggs. Thank you Martha for sending them to him. 😊
Such a good batch!
The first one looks like a beach scene
I agree!
Good observation! My favourite one!
The first looked like birds flying into rain over a body of water. The last one looked like clouds over an ocean. Those were my favorites.
The big one really shows off why they call them thunder eggs. It looks like lightning hit it.
Amazing stones! The one at 5:34 was my favorite. it looks like a scene from nature.
I love new Agate Dad vids! Never disappointing!
You’re tooooo kind!
I loved the ones that looked like sea, sky and clouds! All of them are absolutely gorgeous.
Wonderful rocks. Thank you for sharing and big thanks to Martha for her gift to you. The super large egg is amazing. I wonder where the other half got to. 😃😃😃😃😃
5:47 Looks like a beach scene. Water below, sky above with white clouds. Even looks like sea oats in the lower left corner. Love it!
That's what I saw too.
So much fun! They're beautiful, the last one you cut is my favorite of the smaller ones Martha gifted you.The big one, already polished,is spectacular!! 5:41 are two ocean scenes with clouds. So gorgeous!
I thought so too
You're spoiling us today, keeping my fingers crossed they are wow, wow, wow 🤞😍
Speaking of fingers, I felt through the entire video he was he was a few inches away from cutting off his fingies
Wooow,so pretty❤
I liked the first and last cut. coz there was like scenery of water and clouds and in front all the details
Thanks to Martha for sharing those spectacular thunder eggs with all of us. Thank you, Taylor, for doing the messy part😊.
I'm sure this is asked frequently, but how do you decide where to place your cuts ? Do you ever carry on and produce slices??
That last one looked like sea scapes. All of them were gorgeous.
Great cuts Agate Dad 🧡 I think the second to last one is the cutest, look like turtles 🐢 Thunder Turtles ⚡🐢
YES!
Don’t ever use the word “cute” around me.
Thank you Martha!
The one with white in the center wanted to be an Oreo when it grew old and I'd say it did a pretty good job! All of them are wonderful!
The right hand one on 0:35 looks like a portal to Jupiter that opened right above one of the rings.
LOVEd all of them. And still…your content is so good! Show the rocks, cut the rocks. That goat one was awesome, too!❤
It would be interesting to hear your thoughts out loud on how you make your choice of where to cut the rocks.
1st , 3rd, and the last one were my favs ❤. All were unique, and a surprise. Thank you for sharing Martha !
I love all of this I especially like to see someone who has as much enthusiasm as I do
Loved the first, the fourth and of course the fifth ones a LOT❤
The first cut looks like a seaside painting and is my favorite!! Love it❤
Thank you
The last one that you cut open reminded me of a forming thunderstorm in the distance.... Absolutely gorgeous!!!
These were awesome. I loved the first one, it looked like seagulls taking off from the sea surface. I live on the Oregon coast so look for agates all the time. You make it look so easy to saw these.
@ 6:15 it reminds me of a masters oil painting of a low hanging tree (on left) beside a pond with early morning mist rising, white clouds in the background, it looks pastoral. . 😌

To me the last one looked like a stormy sky with rain, especially the right half. So pretty!❤
Mother Nature is an awesome force. And who says rocks aren't beautiful? Thanks for posting this. Very cool.
Wow my favorite Agate is the one you showed at 5 minutes and 57 seconds because to me it looks like clouds crossing a dark deep blue ocean
Love it!
Your video just came up on my feed. Fascinating! I subscribed. Had my first experience with hunting for different types of rocks in 8th grade science class (1960), but never realized how beautiful the interior could be. Looking forward to more interesting videos and knowledge.
I love thunder eggs! 😍
The last one you cut reminded me of clouds over the lake. They are very interesting.
And here I am loving the odd rock out I love the white center
The first cut the one on my left looks like it has an eye at the bottom! Lovely.
The insides look like black and white photos of the sky and ocean. So cool!
I liked the second to last one best. The tubes were fascinating!
That penultimate one is absolutely stunning and reminds me of hiking in Nepal around Annapurna & Everest.
6:19 it looks like a landscape painting, darker foreground, big tree or cliff on the left, right hand side looking out across foggy lake at the tree line. To me, that's a genuinely magical find.
Всегда интересно,что же там внутри,а там красота, спасибо за видео!
I am relatively new to rock hunting. What is a thunder egg?
How has he still got all his fingers and thumbs!! 😳
Sweating here watching him cut them stones!
The coolest cuts is the one that looks like a leaf and the last cut which looks like a blue sky white puffy clouds overlooking the ocean. Amazing!
WOW WOW WOW love thunder egg's so cool, cheers from down under
My favourite is your "dud". The second cut. i can't even see how anybody wouldn't think that is just soooo beautiful! I love the milky part!
I can see the outline of a turtle in the second to last rock. All are beautiful. You are enhancing the beauty of these stones/rocks.
"Wow, what an incredible journey into the heart of thunder eggs! Thank you, Agate Dad, for sharing this mesmerizing experience of cutting and exposing 5 thunder egg cores. The fourth - look at it like a landscape, through trees at the ocean with clouds overhead.
The last one cut looks like clouds over a canyon with trees! OMG 🎉 just beautiful. Thanks😅❤
The last one looks like landscapes inside of it. It looks like the sky and the sea painted 😍
Amazing on some of them it reminds me of standing in a cave entrance and looking out to sea, it’s like your mind is playing tricks. Love them and never heard of them nor have I ever seen them before, beautiful they really are.
If you was to drill some small 5ml holes in the back of one, in the right place and put some UV leds into them, they would light up Amazingly 👏 ❤😉👍
Looks like a little fish swimming above some green algae down in the lower left corner!
Wow!! Great video. My favorites are the ones with water lines❤
They didn't disappoint, they were beautiful, I think my favourite was the 3rd one.... and what a beauty that huge one is, definitely needs to be displayed 👍😍😍😍😍😍
Those are gorgeous!
Pretty on the outside, pretty on the inside. Amazing! Little gifts from God. Thank you for sharing.
The first and last are my favorites. The giant one is awesome too!
6:14 I would call this “Sky and Water”! It looks like a cloudy sky over the water.
I like the last one you cut, it looked like a mountain and lake scape.
Amazing! Thank you Martha!
3:44 looks like a littel turtle 🐢 guy. Like a Mario Brothers turtle! That jumbo is ay-mazing! Love the channel and content Taylor keep up the good work man!
Hey 👋from Rochert, MN
Sprinkled the video 💕
Hey hey!
I liked them all but the second largest was my favorite. A Dancing Turtle. Keep the gun coming!
Magnifique travail !
#1 > a striped turtle. Second to last > Beaver. Last > Thunder clouds landscape. Beautiful.
Looks like ocean stone. Beautiful
It's almost if like whatever created the inside was so fast and bright it immediately glassed in the silicone melting a perfect picture of the scene around it... It's very interesting and great work cutting in the direction... You gained skill and knowledge... Amazing 🎉🎉🎉
That big stone is gorgeous. If you look at it, it looks like a mountain range Reflecting back onto the water. Oh God that’s beautiful.
Just a man and his thunder eggs, love how happy and giddy he is with each one…no one ever has to guess what he wants for his birthday or Christmas 😂❤
really nice! sparks the imagination
Those Richardson Ranch thundereggs are awesome to cut..
Liking the others too..
How do you determine which direction to cut the stones? I would think the look of the interior would change depending on the orientation of the cut.
Those Thundereggs are KILLER!!!!!
the 4th rock's center looks like a creature of some sort & has the most bands that i've seen. the 1 after it looks like a mini painting in it. the mega 1 looks good & interesting. 1st rock was interesting as well.
The other half of that stone looks like a thunderstorm and all you see is the dark sky and oh that’s so beautiful

nice finds well done keep digging for more find
Wow you did that in just the right order. Love your videos !
Lucky how it plays out!
Beautiful!
Opals, Thunder Eggs, Rainbow Scales, goden cogs and Boomerangs!
My great uncle gave me one of these when I was very young and he told me to hold onto it, it was a dragon egg. The agate is gorgeous and there's a mossy look, like a green pond with a white shore.
