The fact that Gordon, when he got out of that hellhole, was still able to want Joker brought to justice "by the book" just goes to show how fortified this man is mentally; he saw countless pictures of his daugher after she'd been shot and r8'd & *still* held strong in wanting to see him punished justly and lawfully. Batman knows how dangerous joker is yet he leaves him in a prison with normal people as prison guards. That's like leaving hamster inside a cell room with vegtable instead of metal bars.

cuz it's the truth, batman is just a big psycho like joker,it's been explained many times how batman and joker are basically the same person with a different outcome "all it takes is one bad day" plus,it aint Bruce's fault, Arkham prison system should allow death penalty
One thing I like about The Dark Knight Joker in regards to being to neutralize him as a threat, is that anybody presented in Gotham that had no morals regarded killing couldn't ever be ahead of Joker to kill him. He got to them first. The only reason he lets Batsy get close to killing him is because he know's he's got a no kill rule, wants to assassinate the symbol of the bat for his own symbol to supplement the bat, and because he's crazy enough to let himself die to do it.
I like how the joker is the only thing that batman can't predict its actions. That's why the joker is such a good batman villain. He's so random and insane that batman can't figure him out unlike other villains who only manage to be a threat based on a higher intellect or simply being stronger, but that's boring. Joker is neither of those things, he's just too crazy for batman to predict. And the best part of it is the obsession the two have over each other. Batman needs to keep the joker behind bars to prevent him from killing again but still trying to hold on to his moral code. While the joker serves no material gain being the joker he just wants to play his game with batman. He doesn't even care who batman really is, in fact, he would rather not know. Jokers real purpose is to push batman past that line. If batman did kill him the Joker would win because he knows batman is balancing on a thin line between good and evil. If batman were to be nudged into the darkness he wouldn't be able to recover.
Don't forget that Batman set out on his path to bring peace to Gotham and exact vengeance for his parents by beating crime into submission, essentially. He doesn't kill because that's inherently tied to the traumatic experience he had watching his parents get mugged and shot, being powerless to save them, and sitting in a pool of their blood crying until the police showed up. So he swore an unbreakable oath to his parents, to complete a nigh impossible task without losing himself to depravity in the process. Being Batman was never about the Joker, or any of his more well known rogues. It was about his parents, the state of Gotham, and the droves of 2 bit criminals and gangsters that were harassing the city's streets in a myriad of ways. Batman's methods work on the common pillagers of Gotham. They see him as a symbol of fear, and for the citizens, a symbol of hope. But Batmans rouges see him as neither. they see him as a competitor, a challanger, an antagonist. They aren't part of the constant tide of new faces flowing in to get a piece of the city. They are more like the ever present paragons of instability and chaos that Batman can't really outgrow. Batman's morals give them room to operate, sure. They are only present in Gotham because of him, also sure. But without the Batman, the masses of two-bit criminals tear Gotham apart too! That's what I see, at least. Batman is holding off the forces of depravity from destroying his city entirely, but if he isn't careful, the experience Bruce had that night in the alley, might just break him. the same fate Jason and Tim had suffered could be the case for Bruce as well, if not way worse. Then again I also know all this stuff is a comic book collection but hey, I can make some sense of it. I think.
This is by far the most disturbing scene in any dc cinematic ever. Joker paralyzing and r*ping a girl, and then forcing his dad to watch that action over and over again.
The rape isn’t cannon the writer wanted to go that route but DC cut it because it was too dark, so they had him strip her down and take pic, but left the rape ambiguous to let the readers imagination insert its own horrors of the unknown

WHY THE GOD DAMN HELL IS THAT JOKER’S SMILE SO TERRIFYING 💀💀💀💀
Batman knows how dangerous joker is yet he leaves him in a prison with normal people as prison guards. That's like leaving hamster inside a cell room with vegtable instead of metal bars.
It’s not like the Joker has super powers. He really just continually escapes because the plot calls for it. I’ll give him the one time where he escapes because Harley Quinn falls in love with him as semi-plausible but besides that, he’s just a normal dude who has no right, rhyme, or reason to be constantly breaking out of a super max prison
In my opinion, Joker’s more of a fucking menace than reverse flash.
if joker had thawnes abilities and powers, he would be much more dangerous than reverse flash, like much more dangerous.
reverse flash mainly just wants to get at the flash tbh. if he just wanted to kill everyone he could have

I'm fairly sure it's the state's fault for not putting joker down. Batman isn't the judge or jury, there are institutions for that.
No, Vandal Savage has a higher kill count than Joker. The fact alone that he was Genghis Khan in the past proves that.
All because Batman refuses to eliminate a threat and save lives.
Batman is a psycho and knows. If he kills once, not even jaywalkers are safe as everything will become a slippery slope to murder in his eyes.
I always wonder why someone in the JL or even Damian/Jason Todd can't just say fuck Batman this once and kill Joker on the Sly. Or hire a magic user, assassin (Damian knows plenty) or something to make it look like Joker died of natural causes so Batman can stop whining about his no kill rule

Batman: I've been thinking about you lately...
Joker:😳
One thing I like about The Dark Knight Joker in regards to being to neutralize him as a threat, is that anybody presented in Gotham that had no morals regarded killing couldn't ever be ahead of Joker to kill him. He got to them first. The only reason he lets Batsy get close to killing him is because he know's he's got a no kill rule, wants to assassinate the symbol of the bat for his own symbol to supplement the bat, and because he's crazy enough to let himself die to do it.
“Look like the jokes on you! I really did try to make a killing out of it! HAHAHAHAHA”
- Joker
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if batgirl used her training to disarm joker
And here’s where the character oracle was born
Batman is the villain for letting joker live all those times
Agreed
"Who might end up killing who.. maybe you'll kill me maybe I'll kill you i need to know.."
That quote with this song gave me chills so dark i love it
What Je the song 😭
I think.
jesus fucking christ u wrote a whole script
Kevin Conroy was such a good batman, RIP
The joker is basically a broken man with the smarts he’s what we all could be like he says all it takes is one bad day
