Your conditioning program really paid off today with the swimming, etc., because the horses that were not as fit as yours struggled up and down those hills. Someone said that this course has more ups and downs and more total elevation than Burleigh does. Yikes! Congratulations to you. You’ve done an awesome job with them.

He's definitely found his new role in life! Confident and full of running at the end. I'd love to know your general cardio routine for the horses (I know you've been swimming them recently).
I loved the way he tucked in to the last water combination. Strong and steady even up to the skinny one that was there to tempt him to a pony moment. What an incredible work ethic you must have to keep so many horses at peak and improving. Sharpie in the big boy events, already.
You have SO spoiled us with your Go Pro footage! We were talking about how glad USEF streamed this live but that you just saw a limited amount. Ha! Our rider takes us with her for the ENTIRE ride! Wow, do those fences come fast. I don’t know how you got time penalties - it felt like you were flying. What a great ride
omg so happy for you!! what a ridiculously intense course, for us mere mortals that 3* seemed... absurd haha -- but what a privilege to finally see the amazing Sharpie in person!! (you can hear me cheering between 3 & 4 haha).
that angled brush after the coffin rode hella uncomfortable for every horse i saw, but you guys made it look smooth as butter, congrats!!
For sure, lots of troubles occurred at those brush jumps, but not for Sharps and Munson, the Wallace boys. Piece of cake!
I only do ameoba (18in) to me what you 3 and 4’s do is a miracle 😂

Awesome ride!!! Sharpie was amazing! He was so rock steady on a tough course. The helmet cam doesn't even show how hilly and undulating the course was. I don't think anyone went thru the coffin pretty. It was even mentioned on the USEF broadcast that it was kind of a gotcha combo.
Trailblazer! This was an amazing ride considering you had no intel on how the course would ride. (Walking does not give you the complete story.) New course, new course designer. I believe your ride gave other riders the confidence that this course could ride well and the time could be made.
Yay sharpie!!! You have inspired me to take English lessons because I love watching you so much, I might get brave enough to take enough lessons to try eventing

Wow that was Class. Even at the coffin he found a fifth leg and sorted it out.
The TV pics did not show how rolling and steep those hills were. You did some job on getting him that fit to be able to keep up that gallop.

I ride near fair hill and I could not go to the event this year to watch so it was so cool seeing you do the cross country course and sharpie is a super star!
Sharpies my favourite , there is just something about a chestnut thoroughbred. He has a lovely gallop, he flys over the ground.

Nice job Sharp Decision - what great athletes - horse and rider. The 27th place may not sound like much, but believe me, it's a miracle to even complete this course. I attended the Saturday Cross Country event - wow, what a beautiful facility and course. Kudos to Fair Hill, the course designers, all the staff, and traffic direction by State and Local Police Officers. The event was well organized and a pleasure to watch. Where can we find more videos of the other events?
