- Changing in the scenery on the Camino de Santiago, leaving the Meseta after Astorga and getting back to the mountains. In this part; meeting David at David's Place near Astorga. One of my favorites walking days on the French Camino from Foncebadón to Ponferrada. Staying in a spa hotel in Astorga was a real treat for me, I enjoyed it a lot, on the downside I didn't feel like walking again the next day.

Molinaseca is beautiful. You walk for miles and nothing but empty fields and then you turn and see Molinaseca. Wow I learned some things from you, I could not stay in the cheapest place although it looks like the most fun, but like you I have to sleep, and I would have to go when there are some people not a lot but some.
