Hello! Hope you don't get inundated with fanboys (like me XP) telling you that the main character's name is pronounced "Loo-fee" and not "Luh-fee". A lot of us who don't hear it spoken end up saying it the way you did until we hear it in the show. Or, again, are told 20 million times by the fandom. XD Also, the manga is not finished yet, so there will eventually be more openings. I believe the author has stated we're on the last leg of the journey, and that we probably have up to five years left. Even if I am remembering the (translated) quote correctly, he's said that there were five years left before like 10 years ago, so...
they didn't find this tresure yet, but when EIICHIRO ODA started writing this manga he knew what ending will be like thats why this story is so well designed
Ya I can kidna get understand how he writes too as I'm writing my own story now (not sure if I'll try to get it published or not...I started it without any intention of publishing it as it was meant to be a small project to help my writing get better but it's quickly becoming more and more ambitious...biggest issue I have though is the way it's written and all feels better for video game or anime format than book/live action format tbh as I used one of my favorite jrpg series as inspiration to how I wanted to write my characters and plot) and the few things that are definite are the beginning (prologue and a few chapters after are all I have as of now), how the next 2 arcs will end, the end of the halfway point (3rd arc), the 4th arc's start and end, the 5th art's subject matter, and then finally an overview of how the last arc and ending will go. The main issue I'm having is finding what to do/subject matter/story in between all of those main points in the story...if I tried to make it a game it'd be a bit easier as I can just think of a dungeon/filler dungeon and related minor story points for in between the main story segments and add in a plot device/villain that connects tot he main story later on...for a book adding all that extra may add in too much padding however so trying to find a good balance is where I'm at. Other main issue though is dialogue...I'm good when ti comes to describing shit but dialogue is definitely where I'm finding weakness in my writing (not surprising as I don't talk much to begin with unless necessary) with mainly making my writing a bit too stiff (hell...an English professor I had in college actually said my writing style is more dated/closer to how writers would do things a few decades ago...probably best way to describe it would be dry like Lord of the Ring and Witcher's writers)...definitely will need an editor for those parts if not a secondary writer to re-work dialogue.
@@AdorianDelmore It's not. Oda has confirmed the One Piece is an actual tangible thing and not something stupid like "The real treasure is the friends you made along the way" because he hates that trope.
kind of. I bet what he originally thought the One Piece to be can´t be the definitve version. The story started with plans of a pirate story, fight against Marine, etc, but the amount of deep lore the series ended up having has nothing to do with Oda oroginal plans, that's for sure.
There's only one opening missing, and that's special 1000th episode rendition of 'We Are' (yes, it came back again XD). And yes, a lot of us cried and sang along as loud as possible when it did 😂 I think there are vids online of entire theaters singing along as loud as possible hahaha
Without spoiling anything for opening 13 (the first one you watched): This opening belongs to one of the most heavy hitting and emotional arcs of the show and the opening reflects that really well. I guess now that you heard it, you can understand why people were a little upset that you stopped right before this one last time. But it's also got it's upsides, right? We have it, no need for complaints anymore.
A few things that you pointed out an may want to know: - The designs look so weird because the author, Oda, doesn't want to be limited by conventional anatomy. Because of that, the show is full to the brim of characters with crazy, interesting, and memorable designs. He goes full on with the "It's a Comic, so why not have fun with it?" XD. - The power of Luffy is the Gum Gum Fruit, that turned his body into Rubber. Everything he does is either using that power smartly, or something he learned along the way taht everyone can learn. For example, those parts when his body turns black is something anyone can learn with the right training. - Yes, Oda likes boobs, and he knows his readers also likes boobs, so he draws boobs. - The story hasn't reached the One Piece yet. We are in the final stretch, an all-out competition between the people at the top to be the ones to find it first, fighting and searching for the last part of the "Map" to find it. And about Marine, it may be a bit "Riske", but I recommend "I'm Your Treasure Box". I think that song shows perfectly what Marine is all about, and damn it's a fantastic song where she flexes her hard earned skill at dancing and singing XD. There are 2 official versions of that, one with the animated video, and the other with her actually dancing while singing. A few years ago she couldn't dance at all, it was endearing seeing her try and fail like that... And now, her dancing sent people's brains into overdrive... She has worked so hard... I recommend watching both XD.
Re: "Are there people who know where the treasure is?" There are living members of the pirate king's crew, but iirc Luffy has stated that he'd dissolve his own crew and go home right then and there if he were ever told what and where the One Piece was. He's in it for the adventure, and that's why we love him.
I'm a grown man and I've never cried more in any other show then in this one. This show is very emotional when it wants to be and tackles dark subject matters.
U got it right the amount of characters and back stories and arcs and world building is insane the creator of one piece is a genius really when u can keep the fans interested like that with so much amount of episodes and still interested to the show that means a lot and the world he created is unbelievable connected so perfectly
This will always be my favorite series of all time. It's been going on for 25+ years and is all the work of Eiichiro Oda. He started writing the series in 1997 and the anime came out in 1999 and is still ongoing in both the anime and the manga. The music and animation are so good and the storyline and story progression is amazing
One piece is the embodiment of adventure, it is adventure itself, it's peak adventure. What more can i say other than one piece being such an amazing journey, you don't watch it for the number of episodes but instead you go on a journey with the main characters and it's a damn beautiful journey
So, basically, Wano is One Piece's Feudal Japan-inspired country. Oda was always really looking forward to it and kept on saying that he was going to do it, but then pushing it back because the story wasn't ready yet. After several years of this, it was finally time, thus the special intro card and new outfits.
first 2 songs are very emotional it brought me back in time. These were the seasons when luffy (pronounced LOO-FY) experienced the heaviest drawback in his life. I cried so hard watching and listening to these two songs again. any one piece die hard fan would know why. but luffy just had to get back up and came back stronger. third song marks the beginning of the post-time skip. and everyone became stronger to stand with luffy in this adventure. this also begins his alliance with more and stronger characters and facing more powerful enemies. the last song #24 shows the opening of the strongest enemies he is yet to face. it's the biggest adventure yet. we are drawing closer to the end of this generation of story.
Although i'm really sad that my favourites (Opening 19 and 20)are cut out due to copy rights but i'm really happy you enjoyed all these openings.Thank you for your genuine reactions.
The woman with black hair can make any body part of hers bloom like a flower from anywhere she wants. Also that hardening thing luffy does is called haki and everyone can do it
5:05 this is the song that officially kicks off the second half of One Piece. it's played at almost the exact halfway point, after a very emotionally dense and somber arc. coming from almost 100 episodes straight of deviating from the usual high-spirited One Piece brand of manic into an almost depressing sequence of events, it perfectly conveys the feeling of "WE'RE BACK! LET'S GO!!" and really kicks you back into high gear. i kind of agree when you said "oh, this is just We Are again." in it's own way, We Go! is just another song of new beginnings. i love it :) 9:20 that's Smiley. he's made of poison. he eats an apple and dies, don't worry about it 9:47 One Piece stopped doing endings around the 200 episode mark, so all of it's openings are about a minute longer because of it. 9:57 Luffy as in goofy, not Luffy as in vampire slayer 😭 15:16 That's just the One Piece style. you're either a model or built like a shit brick house with a face to match. everybody looks like they spent years of their life building muscle but couldn't be damned to spend even 15 minutes on their legs. that's just how it is :) 19:04 It is. You should watch it. 31:37 yes, both the manga and the anime are still ongoing. we're currently at 1038 episodes. the manga is entering it's final phases, it's projected to finish sometime next year, so the anime will be finished sometime in the next 2-3 years. hopefully. Edit: someone said that the manga isn't ending for like another 3 years. so call that around 2027 for the final episode of One Piece. :) 33:02 It is. 33:05 You would. 34:25 It is. the world is so meticulously crafted that you can plot Luffy's course on a physical map, and as it is right now, there are 800+ NAMED characters. not even to mention the background ones. if you're really interested in One Piece, i recommend the following videos: The Breathtaking World of One Piece The Appeal of One Piece and this one th-cam.com/video/dQw4w9WgXcQ/w-d-xo.html
@@kamixakadio2441 if the infinitesimally small chance that he starts watching One Piece occurs, there's no way he's remembering any of this 500 episodes deep
I'm glad you enjoyed these Openings; One Piece is still on-going. The author: Oda has confirmed that we're nearing the end, so probably in the next 5~10 years it'll finish. If you do happen to go down the One Piece rabbit hole, I'd wish you luck; it's a slow burn but when you get to the good parts, you'll be happy that there's more episodes for you to continue on this journey. One Piece may be consider an EPIC more than just a show, an Epic about Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates' adventures. *On a side note, when you do check out Houshou Marine, I recommend Ahoy; her first original. She also does covers of One Piece openings, especially: "We Are" since she's also a pirate captain and a fan of One Piece.
theres many races like minks, fishmen, merman, meremaids, giants, ancient giants, oni , sky people, tonabata , aliens, and other races all canonically in these series
To answer some of your questions at the end (I addmitedly skipped ahead to see your reactions to my favourite Opening so far): No, this is not the very last opening, just the most recent one, the show (and the manga) are very much still going on strong, but the author has recently stated that we are in the last big part of the story. So its gonna be another ~ 5 to 7 years for the Manga to come to n end. And yes its a weird, wacky world. But also one thats very carefully crafted. Theres alot of worldbuilding going on, details that only become relevant years down the line, characters that were one-off reappairing in major ways. It really feels like a living, breathing world that follows it own laws. But while it can be very funny and wacky it also never strays so far that it cant take itself serious. This isnt a comedy anime after all, even if it is on the more lighthearted side at large. But that only makes the serious moments pack more of a punch.
4:40 this opening is one of the best and you get to see the most emotional moments of the series , particularly the 'origins' or pasts of the Straw Hat crew. Its a shame we couldn't see your reaction to that cuz of copyright =/
One Piece is still going strong, with opening 24 (Paint) dropping earlier this year. The opening animations in this second half are less about the thematic elements of the series and more about hyping up what's actually happening in that point of the story, hence why they seem more intense and emotional than the openings in the first half at times. And if you're interested, there was also a special one off opening to celebrate episode 1000. It's another version of We Are, but it's definitely a very well put together opening and you'd probably enjoy it.
The first opening always gets me no matter what. It's so happy and hopeful, but also relatively calming. Meanwhile, viewers are tearing up, and it's the opening to the most heartwrenching arcs. I firmly believe that this arc of any anime was the most emotional one for fans.
At one point, One Piece got rid of ending credits in exchange for full song openings. You totally have to go on this journey one day! I 100% recommend it. If you do, take it at your own pace and enjoy it. It's a wild ride.
Has no one pointed out that opening 23 isn't actually an anime opening? It's the opening to the One Piece Romance Dawn video game on PSP lol. He didn't react to the actual 23rd opening. All good reactions though man, was a fun watch!
How nostalgic is One piece! Even seeing the last opening which is the current one in the transmission is nostalgic too. 25 years of love with this series ♥
There are some videos that really explain the premise of the show without spoiling that might give a push in either its a show you might enjoy or not, notably the one video called "the appeal of One Piece" should be a good starting point Edit: Luke, One Piece after running for 25 years is now just entering its "final saga"
The series isnt over. Its probably gonna takea bit longer since the mangaka been taking more breaks as of these last couple of years vs how he consistently had a chapter each week
If you haven't watched them there is THE BREATHTAKING WORLD OF ONE PIECE and a couple of amv's that focus on certain parts of One Piece as a whole. This anime has been going for 20+ years and it hasn't finished yet, but there is a lot more going on in this anime world that keeps making the journey worthwhile.😁
Luffy is a rubber man because of the devil fruit he ate (called the gomu gomu no mi.) His armouring and other stuff you talked about is something else, all I'm going to say is that it is something called haki and it is a latent power within most people in the one piece universe. It takes a lot of training to utilise it, most people in the one piece universe are completely unaware of it.
My favorite ones got copyrighted kk XD I cannot overstate my love for this series. I've been growing older along with it, it's part of my life. I've genuinely cried out of both sadness and glee watching it. I still do when I watch some scenes again while watching reaction channels. It's very much become a part of me.
Also you have no idea how much weight carries your statement of "Luffy having the best smile. It makes me happy." That literally hit me so hard. Because it's 100% true and...well it has a lot of meaning simply, let's not spoil anything.
I'm really glad you enjoyed these ^^ One Piece is deffinitely up my list as one of the most amazing series I even watched (and my list goes beyond 300 titles already), it is an amazing adventure to go onto and looking how much interested in it you seem after watching the openings, I would deffinitely advise to give it a shot. Anime is still on-going, but the manga is actually entering it's last arc so it will be ending in a few years. And yes, it is probably the biggest, most detailed and positively crazy wourld I have ever seen with some of the most crazy character designs, and with most incredibly written characters. If you feel like you would like it after watching the openings I would deffinitely give it at least a try ^^
I had to stop at 17:44 because I’m not caught up and I’m trying to avoid spoilers! But I love this video and I love one piece! So glad to see you reacting to it! 😄
Seeing someone watching the openings with fresh eyes brings tears to my eyes. One piece is on going and the recent opening are from “the land of wano arc” which just wrapped up in the manga. And we are currently in the final stages 😭😭 I want one piece to last forever but sadly all great things must come to an end. Oh and fun fact Oda is in the top 10 most successful authors of all time.
The thing with the "Superpower" one is that the more you listen the more you like it. For the first time it was like hmmm.... ok. But now i have it in my playlist :)
It's an amazing show. I was late to the one piece game myself. They were already in the 950s of episodes when I started watching. The amount of detail that Eiichiro Oda put into this series is just mind boggling. Like there are parts in episodes that call back to stuff that happened in the first couple hundred chapters even now. It's also crazy how much inspiration he shows from various different sources and the fact that he's been able to weave the different stories together, but still make it fit in the world he's built.
yes one piece opening is longer than other anime, because one piece after episode 279 it doesn't have ending anymore, so they still have same runtime of anime but longer opening
Without spoiling the show, Luffy ate a Devil Fruit, a magical fruit that bestows a person with unique powers in exchange for their ability to swim, and Luffy's unique power is that his body has gained the properties of rubber, which allows him to stretch, twist, inflate and expand parts of his body to impossible lenghts (This also makes him highly resistant to bludgeoning attacks). The other abilities he displays, such as the oddly colored hardened skin, are powers that anyone in the world of One Piece can achieve with enough training. Also, as for the proportions of some of the characters, a lot is just the artstyle of the manga creator Eichiro Oda, but the world of One Piece is also just filled with various wonderous races, such as Fishpeople, Mermaids and even actual Giants.
If you are really interested in one piece, I highly recommend the fantastic video "Breathtaking world of One Piece" made by Strawhat V... It's a spoiler free video which shows perfectly how big and fascinating this amazing world is ^^
the world of one piece is fully alive and has infinite possiblities. The author eiichiro oda has been writing this series for more than 20 years and is probably going to for another 5 years or 7 years, in that time he created a beatiful world where effectively anything can happen and has so many beatiful and emotional stories to tell. if you still need to know, the treasure one piece was still not found by the main crew and is still the final goal of the series that is on-going weekly.
It hits different when you know what happened in the story when you’re listening to these OP. A wave of nostalgia, feeling like you went on a long journey and pain. Songs tends to sound different when you put meaning behind it, it just give it so much more depth
The first two openings you viewed was very emotional; the entire arc was. I can't even watch those openings without tearing up. 😢 and yes, this manga and anime is still ongoing! But it's closer to finding the One Piece. I'm going to have mixed emotions when it finally comes to a close. I'm thinking about taking the journey for a third time. 😅
without too many spoilers, no the anime ISNT over yet. The arc of the opening 24 is still going in the anime, and the manga has entered the final few arcs. We as viewers have ZERO clue whats going to happen or even whats at the end of the journey. And youre right on the world building aspect of one piece. But its a little more than you'd think. All the characters play an important role and a lot of the characters left in earlier arcs make strides in the background of the story. It shows how the world is constantly evolving and stuff is going on even when it focuses on the main characters for 20+ episodes. The world building is absolutely INSANE, and something most writers can't do.
Continuing from my last comment on the previous video, they add two more to the crew in this section: "Knight of the Sea" Jinbe. Helmsman. Whaleshark Fishman. Used to work for the World Government as a sanctioned pirate until they did something that he could not stand. Yamato: Born with a female body and called the son of Kaido, he technically is crew in name only, as he stayed behind in Wano to follow in the footsteps of his hero, Kozuki Oden, former ruler of Wano. Also, the blackening ability there is called "Kenbonshoku Haki" which literally translates to "Colour of Armament." Most fans blend this and just call it "Armament Haki." It's a power anyone can use with training.
You won't see anyone writes like Oda did. The way that this show goes for 20+ years without us getting bored, must be something. I've been reading books alot, but no one writes like him. The story, plot, all of that connected to that one piece thing. Im so happy I'm alive today witnessing this master piece.
I feel like giving a rundown for abilities Luffy: whole body covers the concept of rubber and he has more but that steps into spoiler territory Zorro: uses 3 swords and is strong enough to slice a ship in half with just the one in his mouth Sanji: uses a kick based fighting style with enough strength to dent steel and can light himself on fire Ussop: sniper with a slingshot who puts most military trained marksman to shame Nami: meteorologist and navigator who uses a special staff to manipulate her environment and can bring lighting down on people Robin: can spawn copies of her body parts on any surface with ranging sizes Chopper: ship doctor who can shapeshifter himself into various forms depending on the situation Franky: shipwright whose whole body is mechanical and is a walking arsenal of weapons who usually pilots the ships vehicles Brook: undead skeleton who is a master swordsman and can manipulate people with his music and can even manipulate souls of other beings to some degree Jinbei: a fishman who can breathe underwater, has super strength, and can manipulate water using his fishman karate
Fun Fact: OP 18 (Hard Knock Days) has an official English version sung by the same band that sang the Japanese version. They're called Generations from EXILE TRIBE. I believe a few of the original openings were also dubbed officially for the Funimation Dub (I think at least the first 4, but there may be more)
the reason becouse the fans like more the first part of openings it's just a emotional feeling, one piece has more thas 1000 episodes right now, and the mostly people like me started watching as a teenager.
One Piece is a journey that has everything, you laugh, cry, get excited, there are so many emotions and you just drift into a crazy journey that is simply an experience you won't experience in any anime. And all the people who say it's too many episodes have no idea at all that it's really worth it, I wholeheartedly recommend that you watch the series at your leisure
The red headed girl is their navigator and I would say she's the most important member of the crew aside from Luffy, as they would've been dead or stranded if it wasn't for her. Her powers are "natural phenomenons". She's using her brains to recreate them (lightning, wind, mirage) with the staff you can see in her hands. And the black haired one has a power to sprout her body parts (mostly hands and legs) from anywhere. That's why you see gigantic legs and hands in her fighting scenes. She's an archaeologist and is also one of the most important members of the team and she is needed to reach the One Piece. One Piece is one of the rare examples of strong female characters done right. Nami is incredibly strong mentally wise, smart and has the power to keep her crew alive, while Robin is smart, really strong mentally, good combatant and has the knowledge that is needed in this world. I love One Piece for that. The bull that we see as "strong female characters" in a lot of media are strong only physically. They are abrasive, arrogant and awful human beings who crack under pressure. In One Piece they are humans first. And they are, if they don't have some genetic disposition can be weak physically, but incredibly strong mentally. Have compassion, be heroic, be generous, be themselves. But there are physically strong and even too strong female characters in One Piece too. As in real life. I despise that media tries to show us, women, that we can be as physically strong as men, if we try. No we can't. if we are not a freak of nature. Bone mass, muscle mass, hormones they are all totally different. Even a physically strong female can be overpowered by most men. Maybe there will be the day, when with evolution it will change, but not now, and that strange insistance that women should be men is awful. Why should we? Is it because if we are women we are inferior for some reason? What a lot of bull crap. People who advocate for this "having physical strength and every toxic masculine trait" character type, just think that being a woman is worse than being a man, and thus actually sexist as heck. You can be physically weak and still be strong. It's just another type of strength.
Quick run down of the Straw Hat pirate crew! Monkey D. Luffy - Captain, can stretch his body like rubber due to something called a devil fruit Roronoa Zoro - First mate, crazy strong swordsman, uses 3 swords, one in each hand and one held in his mouth Nami - Navigator, she was a pirate thief, and her weapon is a weather controlling rod Usopp - Sniper, big coward most of the time, but unmatched in ranged attacks Sanji - Chef, his fighting style uses only his legs, and he's kind of a woman chaser Tony Tony Chopper - Doctor, a reindeer that ate a different devil fruit that gave him human level intelligence, he can change size and shape Nico Robin - Historian, her devil fruit power allows her to summon countless hands that she can control in many different ways, kind of the "mom" of the crew Franky - Shipwright, no devil fruit, but he has continually modified his own body turning himself into a cyborg Brook - Musician, his devil fruit has allowed him to live long after death as a skeleton, has become a rockstar under the name Soul King. He can summon ice with his cane sword Hope this helps a little bit! Of course, I've left out some big chunks of info because spoilers, but this is just a quick run down. ^__^
Best thing about one piece is there are so many mysteries that some times for some people actually they want to know more about them then the actual "One piece" It's just such a big world so much is in it but everything gets explained or will later on
Once again, it brings me joy seeing you enjoying the openings and having an interest in the show itself, the show is still ongoing but it’s on its final stretch, as stated by the author. There is a special opening for episode 1000, it’s the same song as the first opening but updated with the new crew members and new foes, and when it introduces everyone it shows all the things each character went through. I feel like you’ll appreciate that opening more when you watch the show up to that point.
I am a tough 25yo guy. I can't even count how many times i cried over One Piece since i was like 12. Even now 23th opening(Where everyone cries) got me good, since it has very emotional moments throughout all these 1000 episodes in it.
I dont if you know this but one piece used to have Ending songs which were usually 1 min long that plays after the "To be continued" screen and opening songs used to play for around 1:30 . But after the 6th opening back around 2008~ish they decided to ditch ending songs. So to make up lost time Opening songs became 2:30 long. Hence it "feels like a full song"
Yes, the show is still going on, has been airing non-stop (no pauses, no seasons) ever since 1999. Same with the manga, non-stop since 1997, and still going. One piece has the guinness world record for more copies published for the same comic book series. It is also the best selling manga of all times.
Fun Fact: Author of One Piece is the wealthiest mangaka of all time and his net worth is something around 150-200 millions $ and also to show the scale One Piece manga outsells Harry Potter franchise books so yeah... beside that the anime lenght is now 1000+ episodes i believe there are also 18 full-lenght movies :D
Opening after the 24th is one of my favorite. Its from the game One Piece Romance Dawn which happens before the timeskip, definitly a good game if you got time on your hands (its on psp), and yeah the game got his own opening that is actually greatly animated.
I would honestly love to see your reaction to "The appeal of one piece" and "why you should watch/read one piece" by Super Eye Patch Wolf. Both videos look heavily into why people love this series and what makes them so special, without diving into too deep of spoilers. It's the videos I've found that convince many people to start the series.

@@F2PAlius imagine it's something like the Dragon Scroll in Kung Fu panda.💀(The real treasure believing in your self)
WE ARE
*WE ARE!*
WE ARE!
WE ARE!
Hey do you know whay song is 28:32 I never heard it
The arc for opening for 13 also has some great fights 😎
Ah yes, the ice skating donut arc
@@Jayelumn That's from a PSP game opening (iirc), the song is called Eternal Waves.
@@chrys_stone8716 it's the best arc in one piece hands down
A few things that you pointed out an may want to know:
- The designs look so weird because the author, Oda, doesn't want to be limited by conventional anatomy.
@@iforgot4837 you go ahead and delete that please

@Prestin Hurshberry I meant in subtitles and stuff
@Prestin Hurshberry hito hito nomi nika
Re: "Are there people who know where the treasure is?"
There are living members of the pirate king's crew, but iirc Luffy has stated that he'd dissolve his own crew and go home right then and there if he were ever told what and where the One Piece was. He's in it for the adventure, and that's why we love him.
Oda-sama knows everything 🤓
these questions are usually rhetorical he's not asking to be spoiled on things that happen 500 episodes in
Ah love that!
I'm a grown man and I've never cried more in any other show then in this one. This show is very emotional when it wants to be and tackles dark subject matters.
The only show that making man cry over fucking ship
GOTG: "So is this the last opening? Is it still going on?
Me, a OP fan for +20 years: Oh you poor summer child...
@Rage Kage
I'm old now with kids, so my binge days are over! But watching it in batches is definitely the way to go
😂
Hahaha true 🤣
U got it right the amount of characters and back stories and arcs and world building is insane the creator of one piece is a genius really when u can keep the fans interested like that with so much amount of episodes and still interested to the show that means a lot and the world he created is unbelievable connected so perfectly
The fact that you hear that opening as emotional, insanely precise... you know if you know ... †
Probably my favorite OP opening.
Man...
Hits hard 🖤
Yeah still love his reactions and he hasn’t even watched that part.
Fight together must be one of the most emotional for me, it hit hard
This will always be my favorite series of all time. It's been going on for 25+ years and is all the work of Eiichiro Oda. He started writing the series in 1997 and the anime came out in 1999 and is still ongoing in both the anime and the manga. The music and animation are so good and the storyline and story progression is amazing
Hey do you know whay op he played at 28:32 when everyone is crying and luffys fighting all the villains he fought
@@Jayelumn it is from romance dawn, a special.
One piece is the embodiment of adventure, it is adventure itself, it's peak adventure. What more can i say other than one piece being such an amazing journey, you don't watch it for the number of episodes but instead you go on a journey with the main characters and it's a damn beautiful journey
That was so well said I don't have any words 👏👏👏👏
That is what I am saying as well. Whereas Dragon Ball is fighting for survival, One Piece is grand adventure with dreams and goals to follow.
So, basically, Wano is One Piece's Feudal Japan-inspired country. Oda was always really looking forward to it and kept on saying that he was going to do it, but then pushing it back because the story wasn't ready yet. After several years of this, it was finally time, thus the special intro card and new outfits.
The darkness in the show gives all the bright moments more meaning.
first 2 songs are very emotional it brought me back in time.
One Piece is a very deep show. The story is very serious but on the outside it looks happy and everything. Dont get fooled )
Lol the fact the song could convey how emotional that arc was. I'm tearing up just listening to it. 😭
Although i'm really sad that my favourites (Opening 19 and 20)are cut out due to copy rights but i'm really happy you enjoyed all these openings.Thank you for your genuine reactions.
What about 13 14 are you saying the marineford arks arent your favourite?
When he said that "What is Luffy's powers? I feel like I dont know what his powers are." Neither did we man, neither did we...
😆 realest comment yet
One Piece will make you smile, One Piece will make you cry but most importantly. One Piece will make you dream.
Make you laugh too
The woman with black hair can make any body part of hers bloom like a flower from anywhere she wants.
LET'S GO!!" and really kicks you back into high gear. i kind of agree when you said "oh, this is just We Are again." in it's own way, We Go! is just another song of new beginnings. i love it :)
9:20 that's Smiley. he's made of poison. he eats an apple and dies, don't worry about it
9:47 One Piece stopped doing endings around the 200 episode mark, so all of it's openings are about a minute longer because of it.
9:57 Luffy as in goofy, not Luffy as in vampire slayer 😭
15:16 That's just the One Piece style. you're either a model or built like a shit brick house with a face to match. everybody looks like they spent years of their life building muscle but couldn't be damned to spend even 15 minutes on their legs. that's just how it is :)
19:04 It is.
33:02 It is.
33:05 You would.
34:25 It is. the world is so meticulously crafted that you can plot Luffy's course on a physical map, and as it is right now, there are 800+ NAMED characters. not even to mention the background ones.

Just got to timeskip and "we go" is my favorite intro so far
Can't wait to hear Ahoy!
He said he's planning on a 2025-2026 ending, but knowing oda it'll probably be longer
theres many races like minks, fishmen, merman, meremaids, giants, ancient giants, oni , sky people, tonabata , aliens, and other races all canonically in these series
oh and super sized human which what big mom is
Man I love one piece. It's like a fine wine that only gets better with time.
"Fluffy has a great smile" I agree he is quite a joyous boy
Yay! Please react to The breathtaking world of One piece
12:13
Nami is the navigator of the crew hahah
To answer some of your questions at the end (I addmitedly skipped ahead to see your reactions to my favourite Opening so far):
No, this is not the very last opening, just the most recent one, the show (and the manga) are very much still going on strong, but the author has recently stated that we are in the last big part of the story.
The one piece is apparently in laugh tale. The final island in the new world.
4:40 this opening is one of the best and you get to see the most emotional moments of the series , particularly the 'origins' or pasts of the Straw Hat crew. Its a shame we couldn't see your reaction to that cuz of copyright =/
Same thought, DAMMIT
"I swear her power is just... looking good" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
One Piece is still going strong, with opening 24 (Paint) dropping earlier this year.
Luffy is a rubber person.
The superpowers in the show are given by eating a devil fruit that gives you the power but takes away your ability to swim
The first opening always gets me no matter what. It's so happy and hopeful, but also relatively calming. Meanwhile, viewers are tearing up, and it's the opening to the most heartwrenching arcs. I firmly believe that this arc of any anime was the most emotional one for fans.
5 words….
🔥U have to watch this🔥
At one point, One Piece got rid of ending credits in exchange for full song openings.
I cant im 3 mins in and already wanna cry
There are some videos that really explain the premise of the show without spoiling that might give a push in either its a show you might enjoy or not, notably the one video called "the appeal of One Piece" should be a good starting point
Edit: Luke, One Piece after running for 25 years is now just entering its "final saga"
My favorite ones got copyrighted kk XD
I cannot overstate my love for this series. I've been growing older along with it, it's part of my life.
I've genuinely cried out of both sadness and glee watching it. I still do when I watch some scenes again while watching reaction channels.
It's very much become a part of me.
"This openig feels very emotional"
Me: Stop, I'm gonna cry right now!!
Also you have no idea how much weight carries your statement of "Luffy having the best smile. It makes me happy."
That literally hit me so hard. Because it's 100% true and...well it has a lot of meaning simply, let's not spoil anything.
It's not too late to get started on watching One Piece. We'll all be waiting for you in the Land of Wano, come at any cost!
24:11 luffy's power is rubber (bounce like a ball, stretch, inflate like a balloon, and etc.)
It's pronounced as loo-fy
The thing with the "Superpower" one is that the more you listen the more you like it. For the first time it was like hmmm.... ok. But now i have it in my playlist :)
The reviews haven’t started yet, and I’m already crying because of one of the openings that’s about to happen.
If op 12 wasn't sad I would be really sad but for a different reason 🔥✊♠️💀😭😭😭😭😭😭and ⬜🧔
Without spoiling the show, Luffy ate a Devil Fruit, a magical fruit that bestows a person with unique powers in exchange for their ability to swim, and Luffy's unique power is that his body has gained the properties of rubber, which allows him to stretch, twist, inflate and expand parts of his body to impossible lenghts (This also makes him highly resistant to bludgeoning attacks).
Fight together must be one of the most emotional for me, it hit hard at the scene when ace push luffy to move on😭
It hits different when you know what happened in the story when you’re listening to these OP. A wave of nostalgia, feeling like you went on a long journey and pain. Songs tends to sound different when you put meaning behind it, it just give it so much more depth
2:13 - You have no Ideia
Basically the dude with the red necklace is the main characters brother and he was captured and killed. That’s why the 2 songs were so emotional
Love the interest it's a great show so many great moments and sad ones also missed one opening it's we are opening 1 but updated quite nicely
Next, The Breathtaking World Of One Piece 🤗
Man do I love We Go. That simple pun just full sends me with it's wholesomeness.
Ich Ni San (Shine) Yo (We) Go is just flippin' delightful.
Took 23 years for luffy to do that lol. 20+ years in real time lol. 😊
Continuing from my last comment on the previous video, they add two more to the crew in this section:
"Knight of the Sea" Jinbe.
I feel like giving a rundown for abilities
Luffy: whole body covers the concept of rubber and he has more but that steps into spoiler territory
Zorro: uses 3 swords and is strong enough to slice a ship in half with just the one in his mouth
Sanji: uses a kick based fighting style with enough strength to dent steel and can light himself on fire
Ussop: sniper with a slingshot who puts most military trained marksman to shame
Nami: meteorologist and navigator who uses a special staff to manipulate her environment and can bring lighting down on people
Robin: can spawn copies of her body parts on any surface with ranging sizes
Chopper: ship doctor who can shapeshifter himself into various forms depending on the situation
Franky: shipwright whose whole body is mechanical and is a walking arsenal of weapons who usually pilots the ships vehicles
Brook: undead skeleton who is a master swordsman and can manipulate people with his music and can even manipulate souls of other beings to some degree
Jinbei: a fishman who can breathe underwater, has super strength, and can manipulate water using his fishman karate
OMG! You have no idea, I highly suggest watching through it, it is a complete roller coaster
Fun Fact: OP 18 (Hard Knock Days) has an official English version sung by the same band that sang the Japanese version. They're called Generations from EXILE TRIBE. I believe a few of the original openings were also dubbed officially for the Funimation Dub (I think at least the first 4, but there may be more)
That first opening
Has a reason for being the way it is
the reason becouse the fans like more the first part of openings it's just a emotional feeling, one piece has more thas 1000 episodes right now, and the mostly people like me started watching as a teenager.
"do they ever find the treasure?"
mate, its been 30 years. 30 GODDAMN YEARS we've been waiting for that to happen.
The best opening of One piece is all
The fact is that's one of the most amazing react video to OP openings, congrats !
Monkey D. Luffy - Captain, can stretch his body like rubber due to something called a devil fruit
Roronoa Zoro - First mate, crazy strong swordsman, uses 3 swords, one in each hand and one held in his mouth
Nami - Navigator, she was a pirate thief, and her weapon is a weather controlling rod
Usopp - Sniper, big coward most of the time, but unmatched in ranged attacks
Sanji - Chef, his fighting style uses only his legs, and he's kind of a woman chaser
Tony Tony Chopper - Doctor, a reindeer that ate a different devil fruit that gave him human level intelligence, he can change size and shape
Nico Robin - Historian, her devil fruit power allows her to summon countless hands that she can control in many different ways, kind of the "mom" of the crew
Franky - Shipwright, no devil fruit, but he has continually modified his own body turning himself into a cyborg
Brook - Musician, his devil fruit has allowed him to live long after death as a skeleton, has become a rockstar under the name Soul King. He can summon ice with his cane sword
Hope this helps a little bit! Of course, I've left out some big chunks of info because spoilers, but this is just a quick run down. ^__^
Best thing about one piece is there are so many mysteries that some times for some people actually they want to know more about them then the actual "One piece" It's just such a big world so much is in it but everything gets explained or will later on
One piece is the only anime that has the privilege of having longer opening songs and we love it!!
Saw the first part and chucked when he said this anime looks all happy. Little does he know
Once again, it brings me joy seeing you enjoying the openings and having an interest in the show itself, the show is still ongoing but it’s on its final stretch, as stated by the author. There is a special opening for episode 1000, it’s the same song as the first opening but updated with the new crew members and new foes, and when it introduces everyone it shows all the things each character went through. I feel like you’ll appreciate that opening more when you watch the show up to that point.
2:00 and 4:22 are SO EMOTIONAL!! i still can't hear them without crying 😭
We are, we go, and we can are all sung by the same person. And he's the main voice for Onepiece songs.
