Love this. I wish my Mom could still call me. She has dementia and doesn't remember a lot. But I do. She pressed hair, bought the outfits, took us to Church, bought baskets, and cooked to celebrate Easter. My parents did a lot. So I will be burning today. Mac n cheese, green beans, honey baked ham, and her favorite, sweet potatoes. You won't regret whatever you do. Just call off work tomorrow😊

Sigh..I did this to my son. My son found the egg with $20. I made him give my niece an egg because she didn’t find any during the hunt. I didn’t remember which egg had the $20. I put money in 3 eggs. Well guess which egg had the $20. He wanted the egg back but I let her keep the egg. He never participated in any Easter activities outside of church after that. He is 20yrs old and still remembers.

The people have been funky since the took Tussy off of the market, these "younger generations" (that's what my grandmother use to call young people) don't keep the traditions alive, and Easter and school events haven't been the same since they closed Payless.
