The timing was deliberate and diabolical
It was deliberate and guided by the Holy Spirit. The document is perfectly orthodox and affirms traditional Church teaching. Have faith brother the gates of hell shall not prevail.
The content (semantic sophistry, weaponized ambiguity) was also deliberate and diabolical. The devil is the author of confusion, follow Christ - the way, the truth, and the light!
Timed: after the 2023 but before the 2024 synod on sin/synodality which failed to approve same sex blessings, after Belgium and Germany already broke the Overton Window/glass floor on creating liturgical blessings, and just days after the Cardinal received a 5 year prison sentence for mishandling money/investments (got that story out of the headlines), and of course just before Christmas… not a uniting declaration but rather a division and separation from thousands of years of Roman Catholic church tradition (as devout Catholics look East to Orthodoxy) and the deposit of faith, as well as in contradiction to the DDF response 2 years ago. Anyone with half a mind and soul can read through the faux Marxist dialectic approach to create new church practice (praxis - the work of Marxism) if not doctrine. This is the same way transubstantiation was attacked in the Eucharist, just receiving a symbol of food in the hand like Halloween candy rather than receiving the self-sacrificing body and blood of Jesus Christ - King of the Universe on our tongue while kneeling as was done for over a thousand+ years. (Any early Christian references to in the hand were actually on a cloth so it never touched the laity’s bare hands… let alone “extra-ordinary” Eucharistic ministers).

I am from Germany and read Fiducia supplicans, Cardinal Müllers critique and the reception of the German Catholic bishops conference. This is my point of view.
1. First problem: is a pope allowed to invent a new kind of blessing not in accordance with the theology of liturgical blessings? Is this the teaching of the Magisterium or only of an idiosyncratic heretical pope spreading deceit, lies, and the smoke of Satan?
2. Second problem: In the moment everybody can sent with the so called "pastoral blessing" whatever message he wants to sent: A. God is fine with your mortal sinful relationship...B. May God give you the grace to repent from your way to hell!
3. Third problem.This document should not be read as a document of theology but as a document of church policy. Pope Francis is not changing doctrine but he is inventing a faux blessing allowing apostates to stay in communion with him. They can now sent their false doctrine as an implicit message in a pastoral blessing, like Father James Martin..
The reason is: The Vatican needs German money and the German episcopate consists only of modernist who are in line with the alphabet soup people

@veeveejj It´s interesting what you bring up regarding the German church tax. In Sweden we have a church-tax-system from the days when the lutheran Church of Sweden was a state-church (not fully separated from the state/government as it is since 1999). The Catholic diocese (there is only one i Sweden) uses that system that makes the government tax agency collect 1 percent of income from Catholics and transfer it forward to the Catholic diocese. The diocese here is higly loyal to the papacy. Because of Fiducia supplicans and Traditionis custodes, I consider to demand an exemption from the Catholic diocese (it is they that put me on the list for church taxation) when it comes to the church tax/fee/tithe in order to keep my conscience as clean as possible, and instead give that money (at least the same amount) to traditionalist catholic orders like the ICKSP (that exists in Sweden), and maybe FSSP and SSPX (both of wish do not exist in Sweden but in other European countries). In that way I can perhaps also put some pressure on the Catholic diocese in Sweden to not be totally progressive. The Swedish bishop is part of the german bishop conference, by the way.
@@myriam1985 Greetings, German friends. Sure seems like an inordinate amount of mischief throughout history arises from German errors. It must drive good Germans nuts, but starting only with Luther's theological mischief, we then have the philosophical mischief of Kant, the sociological/economical mischief of Marx, the economical/banking mischief of Central Banking advocates from Germany, World War I, the Frankfurt School of Philosophy mischief, Hitler and World War II, rebellious bishops and cardinals and their mischief after World War II and continuing today, and so on. Is there something in German beer or something else that can explain the significant number of Germans leading the world into harmful chaos seemingly quite a bit more so than what has emanated from the bad apples of other countries?

As far as the view of the blessing obviously since the document says nothing has changed in church doctrine logically means these blessings are of repentance.

The Christian gay community is celebrating this Christmas. Pope Francis clarified that homosexuality is not a sin, and gay couples can be blessed. Blessing a couple means blessing what makes them a couple--- a relationship! Blessing means to approve or favor--- look the word up. Simple and obvious. Please don't rwist the pope's meaning ❤

But there are some blessings for marriage... that doesn't mean not resembling marriage implies that it is a rite or something! We're being smartasses when it is not the case! It's a good repsonse, for beggining, to the schismatic Church of Germany.
A blessing is not synonymous with an endorsement. Since the document completely affirms traditional doctrine on sexuality, we can logically conclude that Gods blessing conferred on a same sex couple would lead them away from son and towards virtue and chastity.

53:00 FS development of doctrine… simply cites prior Pope Francis documents for justification - rather than any history of doctrine development in the church.
So I want to challenge your example of blessing an abortion clinic. In the case of a priest conferring Gods blessing on an abortion clinic that would obviously result in the disruption of the evil acts commited there and enhancement of the good things you listed, the friendships of employees and their skills to be used to heal rather then kill. The blessing on the abortion clinic would naturally be a blessing that would disrupt and destroy the mechanisms that allow for evil. Likewise a blessing on a same sex “couple” would God willing disrupt and prevent the immoral acts being committed by the couple, and the document as youve admitted has clearly affirmed the traditional church teaching on morality. So I see no problem with a priest blessing a couple. I swear some “trads” have no faith in God or in His Church. The Holy Spirit is guiding the church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.

@veeveejj Complete lie. No where in the document does it instruct the practice of blessing sin. The document affirms traditional orthodox teaching on sexuality, marriage, and the sin of non-marital sexuality. It clearly states that the disordered union is not being blessed. I think your confusion comes from the word couple, and that a couple is being blessed. Yes its true the couple is being blessed, this couple of sinners is being blessed, the two individuals in their disordered relationship. The blessing is inviting God to act on their lives and pull them away from sin. Since the document clearly re-affirms perennial Church teaching this clearly shows that their disordered union is not being blessed.
Clearly this troll is satanic
