Thankyou for showing us,must say it’s a lovely clean hotel spoke to quite a few people while being in Blackpool and they always recommend the Doric thought it must be good,looks really comfortable and friendly love a game of bingo I was hoping you would of won my fingers were crossed but never mind it’s the taking part .I think when you said good night don’t let the bugs bite one of Daniel’s saying bless him hope you are feeling better and all are well,looking forward to the next.God bless xx🩷🙏

Thanks Katie for another wonderful hotel video. The Doric hotel looks very cozy and as always i love corridor walks very much. The Dinning room is massive and looks beautiful and a great games room as well. Both swimming pools are beautiful as well. To bad you didn't win but at least you enjoyed yourself.

Brilliant, Katie. I love those hotel reviews you do. You are totally right about some comments about someone not watching if you get the room for free, as the camera reflects what you are seeing, and you just give an opinion on what you have found. It's just like regular guest reviews: Someone may like a place for a particular reason, and another may not. I also really enjoy the fun factor you put into the videos you really just get into where you are staying and do a good honest look around and let us know what you have liked and sometimes what you haven't or as you say it's just not your taste. But I have been watching your channel for a long time now and know that you put a lot into what you do and you are a genuine, down-to-earth lovely person with a great family. Nice looking hotel Katie, rooms are clean and basic but look great for the cost. Love the swimming pool jacuzzi area, and all to yourself. You’re a natural at bingo👌🤗

Impeccably clean and has a lovely homely feel. I would certainly consider staying here, It feels like they take pride in their hotel and it's evident with how well maintained it is.
Yes the staff all seem very happy and friendly too (not just with me but with other guests too)

I loved prisoner as a teenager I was over the moon to see it on TV, the only time I watch Freeview is when in a hotel

I enjoyed that, I always go to the Doric every year and I get room 121 which is a sea view, and the bathroom is a pink suite. Can not wait till 2025 to be back there.

Hi Katie excellent video of the Doric hotel is excellent hotel right on queens promenade wow it's is lovely and always busy hotel great views if you have a room with a seaview is a bonus the room was lovely and your at back of the hotel I always ask for a room at the back it is quieter and the bathroom is great and clean and tidy which is great and dinning room is massive with a bar happy dayz what a great swimming pool the lounges look amazing the bar menu looks great to the games room is great for the kids it is a maze of corridors to the games room the food looks nice to and your dessert looks lovely and the entertainment is excellent the host was so funny the breakfast was excellent to thanks Katie excellent video of the Doric hotel thanks ❤ from Keith 👍👍

Great video as always Katie,Don’t blame you for taking up offer of a free room and meals,just wondering if they would treat TH-camrs better than paying quests as never been there before,I try to get hotels/B&Bs that have breakfast included as some can charge alot xx

The way I was treated well is that I didn't pay for my stay, but the food was the same, drinks were the same
And I got to go in the pool alone
But apart from that I wasmt treated differently
You can get different packages here I mention the prices about half way through when I show a selection of rooms
They do
Room only
Room and breakfast
Room breakfast and dinner
And all inclusive

Someone I follow wanted a question answered as you do hotel reviews you may be able to answer Why do nearly all hotel rooms have a radom chair that always faces a bed?
When I stayed in a room over that extractor fan or whatever it was it really hurt my ears, I was in a room very similar as could see the water tower from it. It's a lovely hotel but I do prefer the Park House Hotel it's stunning
Yes it is a bit loud hence why I opened the window to show people, some people won't care and some will but at least people will know x

Ah thanks Kelly I personally don't see the difference in wether I pay or go for free my videos look the same to me, just because it's free doesn't mean I won't be honest I said in this video about not having plug sockets next to the bed x

They might give you better rooms though or make things a bit better,like they would if an inspector ect was visiting.
Well in this case I stayed for free yes but I'm still going to show the hotel and the rooms and the food etc as it is my point is I will always be honest to the viewer no matter whether paid or free like when I opened the window to show the noisy engine out back, as I wouldn't pick that room but plenty others I would pick x
I totally get that but I just meant for your room ect if they know what you do then they're going to make sure the room is the best, extra clean ect and you get best of everything food ect,also do you just get in touch tell them what you do and ask for a free stay or do they get in touch with you.@@MyersFamilyVlogs1
Had to laugh about the heating years ago the Doric was far too hot imagine in summer in a heatwave! We always thought it was a ploy so youd buy more cold drinks they didnt have enough fans in the hotel we once went in September the hotel was freezing cold they refused go put the heating on ! We were in a side room facing Uncle Tom's cabin we had to go to Boots and buy 2 hot water bottles!! Think they need to invest in air con for summer the restaurant was also unbearably hot
Oh wow luckily I saw fans in the wardrobes but yes it was roasting I thought maybe it was because there was lot of older customers
But maybe not I don't know
@@MyersFamilyVlogs1 doubt it when we was there it was bitterly cold there were lots of older people but as I said going back over 20 years the hotel was always too hot we used to sit outside maybe cos it's an old building can remember my parents they were in the roof on the top floor they said the heat was unbelievable then to top it all the flaming seagulls landed on the roof in the early hours kept them awake !!xx

Not a bad hotel, but don’t really like the hallways. The wallpaper in the hallways are horrible.
