    Perfect review and very informative thank you !!
    I just love reviewers that CAN READ A MANUAL :)
    So many would simply write it off because they cant start an engine LOL
    MANY THANKS !

    This brought back some absolutely wonderful memories!!
    My Grandma and I used to fly on this wonderful aircraft from Southampton Airport ( UK ) to a beautiful little island called Alderney in the Channel islands ( part of the UK, but right next to France ).
    There are a whole series of books for children called " The Little Yellow Plane Adventures ", about a Trislander called Joey, published in the 1980s.
    That's the reason why a couple of the planes in the fleet had a face!!
    And it's actually from this very aircraft that one of the UK's most famous UFO cases took place in 2007!
    Thank you so much for this wonderful video my friend 🙂✈

    I love super boxy cars like the '80s Volvos and I think I just found my new favorite plane ❤️

    This is amazing, I am from Guernsey and this is such a blast from my past flying on these planes. Great little aircraft. And you have the Joey livery!

    • @Byemoonmen

      It's one of the default liveries! It's really nice!

    Great going from Jersey-Guernsey back in the 90's. Watching this was bringing back all those memories. Love it.

    Excellent video - it really shows pilots how to handle this aircraft properly. I also commend you on your airmanship too, great job.

    Live in Guernsey and flown on this aircraft many many times over the years, love it, and yes it was VERY loud, in fact one of the airlines used to hand out free ear plugs when you boarded the plane 🤣 and if you go back a really long time they used to weigh passengers at check in so they could evenly distribute the weight!

    • @Byemoonmen
      @Byemoonmen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't imagine sitting in one of these for a few hours without ear plugs 😂
      Speaking of weighing the passengers, if you overload the back without having the stand there, this plane "falls back" 😂 it's a really nice touch!

      I remember a friend at Southampton Airport telling us that these were so slow, a pigeon once filed an Airprox report on one

    I live in Guernsey, it will be nice to have something that used to be a familiar and unique part of the aviation scene.

      I looked the area up before recording this and it's beautiful over there! It's a really nice piece of the aviation scene, I liked this aircraft.

    Nice review and airmanship, thank you! This airframe reminds me a bit of Majestic´s Dash 8 of which visually didn´t like the vertical landing gear struts, but then kind of grew on me. Aircraft seems to do what It´s suppose to do, and was quite surprised on your short landing, so I guess no reverse thrust needed here. Is Icing visually simulated? Again, thanks for your effort and sharing, good job In the doing.

    • @Byemoonmen
      @Byemoonmen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I did some very quick testing and I might be wrong, but I don't think there's visual ice on the exterior, but I did see ice building up on the windows

    Hey, this was a great review.I am assuming that the ap follows the gps? Thank you. I always thought it was odd looking but it is cool.

    • @Byemoonmen
      @Byemoonmen  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That is correct, as long as you're on GPS mode.
      It IS an odd looking aircraft but it's really cool. I love how unique this is.

    I wonder why they thought they needed 3 engines, looks like 2 would have been enough for a plane of this size

    • @Byemoonmen
      @Byemoonmen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I remember correctly, the three engines they chose were cheaper than twin engine configurations from that time. I assume maintenance was cheaper as well, but I'm not sure.

    Nice review but I don't think the aircraft's fit and finish are worth the price. The cockpit looks like something out of FSX.
