I just bought this. I have to connect to the devices WiFi just to connect to it; when I do that I can’t get any text or snapchats... and the remote option will not work for me it just says it’s loading literally forever... I’m gonna return it

Mine will not charge. No lights are on when plugged in. I tried a Samsung phone charger that I charge my phone with for 4 hours and the usb port on my computer.
It came charged to 59%. Now it's 55. Any suggestions before I return it ?

Deleted the app from my phone now unable to find the app in the app store.
Any idea as to which app will work?

DON"T need an app actually, and I think that app is sketcy. Use the instruction to connect your phone WIFI to the device. Then open up your phones browser and try 192.168.10.1 some devices might be different. to find the IP of the phone I use FING app to search what devices are attached to the phone. Should find your camera that way. there is a web based interface. DO NOT install the download. There's an option to connect to various devices. I find the one labeled NON-IE browsers to be the best.
