My favorite super hero is Peter Parker, a white guy and very sympathetic character to many people around the world, not just white, male, straight Americans like Peter. I mean, it's not like they're bashing it super hard either, the only thing that was said about it was that it was not great. and i imagine the guys just didn't really have enough experience with it to really say anything either way.
additional thoughts: + I also do the "look up the ending so I'm not anxious" thing, tho I keep it to myself-- I watched Sharp Objects with my mom & had to look up the ending because I needed to know how bad it was gonna get, I gave zero hints I knew anything for like six weeks + Woolie's hair is cute!
I changed crimsonscarf's mind on RPG snes games with Final Fantasy 3 and / or 6. That's was it though, i never could change anybody else's minds since then.
Meh, that last one I kinda get, because I have difficulty connecting with people, let alone animated characters. I mean, I can do it, but it takes quite a bit more effort and a fairly engaging story to get me through the first couple of hours of slog where I try to put myself in the shoes of this strange being that I'm controlling the actions of, before I manage to get the feel of the person it's trying to convey and manage to immerse myself fully. That's why when I'm given the option of generating my own character, I usually pick the option that looks the most like me to make the process easier. Granted, once I get myself into their shoes, HOO BOY, I get myself well in there. Sometimes I even start to think like I believe they would think before I start to come back to myself after turning it off. Sometimes that can take a good hour or two.
In Fairness the Destroy ending at least takes the damned Reapers down with you. Sure everyone is dead but at least you had one last act of defiance taking those toasters out once and for all.
Just saying that the destroy ending is the most moral option in mass effect 3. The fact that Shepard survives proves that all synthetic life isn't wiped out. The other options are bait to make you think they're more moral
606hunter1 Doesn’t he die on that station because no one ends up picking him up and we see him die a slow death and then get turned into a synthetic and becomes the last will of the Reapers or something? Can’t say I actually went into depth with the endings to Mass Effect 3 since never actually picked up the game and only seen video essays and playthroughs. And wasn’t that scene at the end made by the devs as an apology or something to how shit the endings were? Yeah they said it was what was cut but it also seems like it ends up going against what is shown to in the endings.
Yea we the audience are left with a clip of Shepard taking a breath, we don't if he truly survived or if that was his last breath before death. Also everyone is light-years away while he's stuck under some rubble in the citadel, until one of the creators confirm that he's truly alive and well I'll assume he bled out.
RavenCloak13 the scene of the quick breath was there in the original. The fact that Shepard survives a 50,000 foot fall shows that "destroying" all synthetic life was a lie. It could just be bad writing but with how the ending is shown afterwards, the reapers lied about it destroying anything synthetic
Andre Carter the breath that Shepard takes at the end of the game is not consistent with a dying breath. The 50,000 ft fall should of killed them anyways so it's just bad writing unless they are actually straight up saying Shepard is alive. Regardless, the ending is still trash
606hunter1 Considering he was inside a massive super structure with bullshit technology that does even begin to matter if he fell that far. And if it didn’t destroy all synthetic life then why don’t we see any of the geth at the end or EDE?
I played a lot of halo 4, I was only 8 lvls away from max when I stopped, and i am not proud of that. I pretty much never played it with my friends who had it, they just never played it. I don't know why I did, I just remember liking the progression system and the game being fairly enjoyable. That being said this man is crazy calling halo 4 the best when Reach blows that shit out of the water, and I got nowhere near max lvl in Reach but that shit is the reason I even gave 4 the time of day.
i play as bald white men almost exclusively if i'm given the choice. I can relate to other characters just fine, this is just my favorite archetype. A fun go-to character who's shoes i can step into.
Destroy ending is the only one that makes sense. Refusal is spitting on everyone's sacrifices so that someone else with the balls to destroy the Reapers does so anyway. Control is changing one tyrant for another. Synthesis is bullshit magic that rewrites the biology of the entire galaxy, even those that weren't even aware of the Reapers.

I mean, it's not like they're bashing it super hard either, the only thing that was said about it was that it was not great. and i imagine the guys just didn't really have enough experience with it to really say anything either way.
additional thoughts:
+ I also do the "look up the ending so I'm not anxious" thing, tho I keep it to myself-- I watched Sharp Objects with my mom & had to look up the ending because I needed to know how bad it was gonna get, I gave zero hints I knew anything for like six weeks
+ Woolie's hair is cute!
Going by the title, I thought this was about Pat's piracy discussion in the subreddit.
ME3's destroy ending is the best ending, the others are literally insulting.
is this man Pat's stand?
Wait. What's wrong with thinking the Destroy ending was the best? It totally is!
A stand to beat Crazy Talk!
Holy crap I think crazy talk finally manifested itself into a physical from
If you could make a playlist on the channel for these Friendcast Clips that'd be great, I want to binge them
I changed crimsonscarf's mind on RPG snes games with Final Fantasy 3 and / or 6.
The title made me think they were talking about Pat.
I’m the sender, this is my friend! He is a good man, but very misguided.
Still the same?
So, did he change?
Let’s see.
606hunter1
Doesn’t he die on that station because no one ends up picking him up and we see him die a slow death and then get turned into a synthetic and becomes the last will of the Reapers or something?
606hunter1
Considering he was inside a massive super structure with bullshit technology that does even begin to matter if he fell that far. And if it didn’t destroy all synthetic life then why don’t we see any of the geth at the end or EDE?
To be fair, Xbox one controller had a usable d pad at least lol
This guy is the DIO to Pat
Destroy is the right choice though...
Enemy - 100%
Pat flat out looks like Kratos.
Is this Liam? The amount of contrarian is super strong.
I thought this was the title of the last Friendcast clip.
Pat's brother
i play as bald white men almost exclusively if i'm given the choice.
This guy makes Pat seem more normal
To be fair, a few of these examples make sense if given the right context, which the mail guy didn't mentioned at all.
Pat’s epitaph
1:44 as long as it’s not infinite any of em is good
"Halo 4 is the best in the series"
Now that's a fucking showstopper right there.
That Mass Effect one didn't make me flinch at all
Normally I'd assume the title is talking about Pat, but after the last podcast clip, I was wondering if the title was talking about Matt or Woolie.
Is this guy for real?
A rival for Crazy Talk
I think the guy is trolling his friends
This friend is clearly Part 8 Kira to Pat's Part 4 Kira.
Who? Pat? I don't know yet, but he keeps surprising me each video.
