Excellent work @Nuke.YKT. Can't wait for the public release with reverb, chorus & filter support so we can incorporate the library into DOSBox Staging!
@@humanbeing_I do believe it is a track from Descent 1 or 2. I can't remember the name either of the top of my head, but it should be on any number of the myriad of Descent music videos out there, a cursory search on youtube can easily return such content.
Don't we already have perfect software Sound Canvas with Roland SC 3.2? It isn't technically emulation either afaik, it's an actual Roland Sound Canvas module/kernel being processed by the host CPU, audio quality is incredible when using a decent sound card or DAC.
The missing piece for MS-DOS audio emulation. Super hyped about this one!

Sounds great! Would be nice to hear some of the GS-heavy demo songs, like Suplex Hold.
amazing
Amazing
damn this is cool. no idea how in the world to actually work the sc55emu exe but it seems very impressive
you just put in the rom files
My brother I love you, finally we shall get accurate SC55 music without real hardware. Is there any plans or chance to have support on Linux? @NukeYKT
I need Linux support ideally as well. Ideally Arch based, but if I need to run an Ubuntu instance, so be it :)
@@humanbeing_ Anything for that accurate sound, my brother.
Just get MiSTerFPGA.
i updated a PR with linux build instructions. it compiles and works, need to figure out how to output a midi file at the midi port
@@ArrowGent thank you dear
Yayy!
SC-55 Mark II - Emulation work in progress? Please explain.
You just said it!
So yeah.... this sounds amazing. Especially the 3rd track, which I know, but can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

This song is from the first stage of Duke Nukem 3d
Curious, how was the audio in this video generated?
