- The plaintiff says she met the defendant when she found out she was having sex with the plaintiff’s boyfriend. Since then, the defendant has been harassing, stalking, and assaulting her because she wants her boyfriend. She’s suing for the assault, car damages, and emotional distress. The defendant says she didn’t know the plaintiff existed until she got pregnant and the defendant threatened and assaulted her, putting her into premature labor, so she’s countersuing.
I need both these women to get some self-esteem ASAP. This is a disgrace.

The normalcy in these types of communities (poverty, lack of education) to just have babies and 'carry on' is just so sad and embarrassing for the community. It reinforced a negative stereotype. I feel frustrated for my brothers and sisters as I know it's not all but the getting pregnant young, not caring for yourself or anyone else, dysfunction and so on is taught and passed down. Generational trauma is also extremely prevalent in the black community. I say all of this as an ally and with understanding and empathy.
