@@TheRobochicken5494 was mmo's not a early form of "social media" in itself? I don't disagree with you entirely but Its the games features mostly for sure. go back in time and never introduce dungeon finder, lfr, etc etc and the game would surely be more social. Also server merges/phases

Even with the competition factor can you really argue that all of these things that were implemented post-late Wotlk kept the numbers up when the number have NEVER rivaled Wotlk?? There is a huge MMO playerbase that wants a less hand holding experience. Classic held numbers that a majority of people didn't expect, you can't say that classic isn't a success even with flaws like botters and meta slaves. If AOC and Pantheon flop then I will bite my tongue but the current version of retail wow is despised by many. These people are just waiting for an experience that is akin to classic and EQ but fresh, and new.
I just figuered out what i dislike about WoW's overworld, none of it is beliveable. Like in Torghast, it's literally only corridors filled with enemies who are seemingly only there to be killed by you, they don't exist for any other purpose than to be a roadbump for you, no schedules, no chores or cooking, no socialising, nothing. Shadowlands isn't even a coherent place like the rest of WoW so it's even worse than it's been before, atleast you could feel like you were in a world in the other expansions since all the zones were physically connected.

All of them, despite being insanely good, were boosted by Asmongold. So not being part of the bandwagon is not good for business even though he is an OG. I really want TH-cam to add views of the reactor to the video they are reacting too, I would be a good system that put content creator in the front. I love reaction but I always put the source video muted in the back to give them some views because they deserve it more than anyone

Honestly, BFA added some cool stuff to WoW. Beautiful zones relevant to the world of Azeroth, the best leveling experience so far in WoW imho, allied races -- things that I will continue to enjoy well into the future. The same can't really be said for SL. As soon as Dragonflight comes out, guaranteed I'll never enter the Shadowlands again unless they make me. Only thing I'll probably still use is the Revendreth transmog set for my blood DK.
