Asmon only says Maldraxxus is for losers because he's jealous of all the fun we have with our abominations. :)
All other covenants: some form of mild optimization reward but with half the NPCs being passive aggressively snide towards you. Everything looks cool but everyone is kind of dickish.
Necrolords in Maldraxxus: the most ironically wholesome land of the dead ever with happy abominations and a daily quest all about playing with skeleton doges. Everything looks horrible but everyone loves everything.
@@joshuakim5240 I wanted to say Sir Zorba is accurate same with you Josh, but after reading you description of Maldraxxus I realized something.
So long story short I made mention to a friend of mine that is really into warhammer and got me into it too but I mentioned to him some of the Maldraxxi specifically the abominations and he told me it sounds like ya Boi Papa Nurgle and if you were to search Nurgle he looks like a rated r maldraxxi. But after your description I realized something Josh, Maldraxxus is just the World of Warcraft version of Nurgle’s Garden (his realm) because while everyone is looks like hell and is in constant conflict they’re all having a good time.
Thanks Josh I now love being a Necrolord even more now

Plot Twist: Maldraxxus is just the ancient medieval version of Nurgle's domain and some of these bois are still around and teaching Plague Marines the happy history of super chill decay.

Necrolords are the best. Most wholesome covenant. Everyone else got problems, necrolords got stitches!
I actually picked nightfae. I looked for a class that has BiS nightfae (druid) and went with it and I am not a furry. I just love the glowing forest vibe, it reminds me of the avatar film's forest (the alien cgi one)
Calling something "furry" is pretty much a joke at this point, I can't take anyone seriously when they try to claim anything remotely animal-like is furry. There's something wrong with them, like they're repressing something. Its gotta be, I don't see how they think people wearing fursuits and people playing an animal in-game is the same thing if their thinking process is normal. The next evolution of this is associating idioms with furries, like lone wolf, or busy as a bee.
I hate night fae but i need "the hunt" for DH

Funnily enough, I was picking covenants depending on which were closer to the characters' class I did want to use.
My main was Worgen DK, so went for Necrolord, eventually I would go for Venthyr with Blood Elf DH, Night Fae with Draenei Shaman and Kyrian with Goblin Priest.
But I left WoW few months after Shadowlands release, so...

I and most of my friends hated choosing one of the two possible sides in BC because certain classes HAD to choose one, even if they didn’t like it. I was really worried when I found out shadow lands had four. Just like BC, there are benefits depending on your class, that make one of the four BIS. The idea of choice is not real. It’s too bad they couldn’t even out the bonuses so you could pick the Covenant you wanted to play.
You don't HAVE to pick the best option, you know.
I actually really like Ardenweald, and no I’m not a furry. I just really like the whimsical feeling it gives off, it feels very magical. The Venthyr are so cool, I will agree with that.
Considering the character models, I have a hard time believing anything can be described as "hawt" in that game. But I guess if we're talking comparatively between the factions, it makes sense... but it's not saying much when the kyrian's competition for aesthetics is some nobby-ass old vampires, trees/ferries, or zombies.
I also picked Night Fae, but I was like whatever, they have a gap closer for warlock and a strong passive after casting covenant spell.
As someone who has had to make the tough choice to be stuck in Night Fae for bis. The ratio that you presented is very much accurate.

This is the truth:
My Paladin is Kyrian
My Druid is Nightfae
My Mage is Venthyr
My Warlock is Necrolord
Why? Because it makes the most sense for the toons.

To be honest its not like you're missing on some high quality writing or super engaging campaign no matter what you pick. I'd say minmaxing is the correct choice unless you want a transmog/mount.

There exists a 1% of Night Fae players who play Night Fae for the Fae mounts and armor and because they love the way Ardenweald looks. That 1% is me. I love Ardenwealds design and I totally love the way the armor and mounts look.
Well, then there are people like me who just pick Covenants based on what would identify best with my character.
Example:
Lightforged Draenei Paladin = Kyrian
Worgen Warrior = Nightfae
Draenei Dead Knight = Necrolords
Worgen Dead Knight = Ventyr

I play Night Fae because they gave me my god damn dragon back. Also, it's the only covenant that actively contributes to Azeroth's defense by rezzing our Ancients, so that's bonus points.

I can't tell if Asmongold is kidding or not when he says that Maldraxxus is the most boring covenant. I hope he's not, because my DK is a Necrolord and I LOVE it! Walking around the Seat of the Primus while everyone around you gets ready for war, creating custom abominations to bolster your forces, dropping from a Necropolis as a shortcut for questing. They even have a giant three-headed dog as a pet. There is a World Quest where you PLAY BALL WITH YOUR GIANT THREE-HEADED PET WAR DOG! If that doesn't guarantee best covenant, I don't know what will.

I actually like Night Fae because of the fact that it gives some hints for the Lore and that it explains more about the Drust as well as how Ardenweald works.
Agree, I’m a druid and it just makes sense to go night fae especially for lore reasons. But I guess we are automatically furries.

@@desaylumproduction6615No, for what, I am just saying that some people actually enjoy Ardenweald and are not furries, if someone says that 20% of the people who join Ardenweald are Furries then they would probably say that everyone who plays as a shaman or druid is a furry because of the fact that they are able to turn into animals (shaman turns into spirit wolf). I would just like people to stop assuming stupid stuff just because they either don't like something or just want to complain for no actual reason.

I went night fae with my druid because thematically its the best one for my druid and also because of the ability

Idk, I really liked that ability, so I kept it.

Both are boring AF. Maldraxxus is literally like another dessert/silithus zone from vanilla with different colours, the design is plain boring. Ardenweald, pretty much was like leveling on Night elfs zone but reworked. like i know it is supposed to be a forest, but, many other things could have been added, specially when most texture effects and good designs are put on the sky lol.
The funny thing is, she DID peg Bolvar before the nine fight
The only reason anyone goes Bastion is for Pelegos and the mastery boost

As a devote Maldraxxus/Nexrolord, I've never felt so offended. Night Fae is... fine, it has some coll aspects but sadly didn't live to expectations.
