I used to live near a Waitrose and I lived like a queen with reduced free range meat, seafood, cheeses etc but I moved and there isn’t one in my town. Thanks for another good video
One thing that really annoys me is supermarkets and places that sell plants, not garden centres, never water them then they have to sell them cheaply or not at all because they die. I have watered them with my water sometimes I feel sorry for them so dehydrated. I have only shopped in Waitrose a couple of times, I prefer M&S if I’m going to treat myself to something yummy. I have neither close to me now, the closest to them is Sainsbury’s. The strawberries did look good and never thought of putting basil with them 😃
No waitrose here. I did have a voucher as a survey reward so used my bus pass to go to another town to spend it on tins of pumpkin puree. I have never been able to find it anywhere else and i love pumpkin pie. So nice to have it out of season. Your rose was a bargain. Well done.
I love Waitrose and wish there was one in my town (Slough). I'm on a budget and as you've shown and others have commented, you can get some good bargains and quality food in there. I do recommend growing your own herbs, Sage, rosemary and bay are dead easy to grow. Just give them a bit of a trim in the early spring. Sage shoots up spikes of lilac colour flowers which bees go mad for! Thank you for another lovely video, Rechenda and I like the AMSR quality of them. I also love Jack and his input! 🐾x
Waitrose is a no-go for me (literally!) as my nearest is 25 miles away! I love your bargain rose - I once got a small rhodedendron plant from Tesco for 50p and it grew like crazy! Sadly I had to move house a few years ago, so I no longer have it.
I love Waitrose but unfortunately the nearest one is 40 minutes away so we don’t go very often, I do occasionally have an online order from them though and I do find them fairly good value, a lot of their own brand stuff is the same price as Tesco/Morrisons x
I love Crosta & Mollica products as just proper bread ingredients and no rubbish. Tesco and Sainsbury's sell the bigger piadina wraps and often on offer. Waitrose sell the focaccia rolls. Sainsbury's and Waitrose sell their amazing toasting bread 😋. I only buy specific things from Waitrose that I can't get elsewhere. The essentials range is good value
@@TheBudgetFoodie there pizza are good too when they are yellow stickered :) Ive not tried any of the ready meals/frozen desserts they do. They do fresh pizza bases with the sauce on and the ingredients are all natural and no added nasties. They are so good and cook really well. Often on offer for £2 at Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Morrisons and great budget option when you don't have time to make dough/sauce - just top with what you want
I like Waitrose. It’s out of my budget range right now but I have been a few times in the past and I find their cheapest range is really good albeit not as cheap as other supermarkets like Aldi or Lidl of course. But I would go if I’m looking for something particular or obscure as you put it.. they have my favourite bread, the Vogel’s soya and linseed bread from New Zealand. And the piadina that you bought which is one of my favourite breads from my Country. I love them exactly as you made them with the Parma ham, rocket and mozzarella, perfect! I love strawberries, next summer when they’re in proper season and taste much sweeter and are cheaper, you should try them with a drizzle of Balsamic vinegar like they do in Italy. ❤
I’m on a strict food budget but do treat myself to Waitrose about once a month. It’s worth the extra sometimes and it’s good for those obscure ingredients needed for certain recipes. They do a really good nduja and I really like their olives. I also love browsing their ‘cooks ingredients’ range they really do have everything lol. I don’t find their essential Waitrose to be that much more expensive than anywhere else and often it’s better, especially their essential mayo!
I do my monthly shop in waitrose and will never go back I'd I can help it. The shoppers experience is amazing they deliver and help me un pack my food. The trick is to shop at the offers section
❤ There starbucks drinks two for £5 kept me coming back when I was in Bath. I love Waitrose grapes & their brushetta style garlic bread too 😊 Love these videos.
I love Waitrose, went there today infact! If I could afford it I’d only shop there 🤩😊🤩❤️! I got a lovely houseplant in a pot for £1.99, normally £15. Jack is so sweet xxx
Thank you Rechenda (And Jack) that looked delicious ,I love Waitrose but rarely use it its a bit like Mark's /Spencer's would only use it for something special that rose was a good bargain have a great week .xx
Hi Rechenda nearest Waitrose to me in Kent is in John Lewis store in Bluewater, Dartford. Had a look once but even yellow tickets were expensive as you found out! Did like it in there though, so many items you don't find in other stores. Love your channel and love your top by the way and Jack stealing the show as ever. Look forward to the next one x
thank you a lot for this very nice video in waitrose , i like so much this brand and i study english with the recepies cards ;-)))) when i come in England
Their own-brand juices are good (and not much more expensive than other supermarkets), they have a good sushi selection as well (own brand and other brands) but mostly like to pop in there only occasionally to check out the reduced items - you can sometimes find stuff thats super reduced and worth it!
I don’t think I’d be able to live on £10 in Waitrose but I could probably do £15 if I had to. I tend to go to Waitrose the most as it’s the biggest supermarket in my area. It helps my anxiety to stick to one shop.
I live near a Waitrose and it's always busy, it's been open for over 25yrs and I think I can count on one hand how many times I've been in there. I'm an Aldi shopper with my budget. 😄😄
Waitrose is cheaper than many shops. I buy most of their own brands. All good quality. 😊 They deliver to me because I'm an old fart. Charming delivery people. 😊 Have a look at their home brands next time you go. Tinned fish etc.
@@TheBudgetFoodie One other good thing about them is if something is manky (delivery wise) they take money off bill. I had a washing up liquid leak (I wasn't bothered) and they took price off and I kept it anyway! Can't fault customer service. Some things might be a little more expensive, but the quality is very good. I buy cheap cuts of Waitrose brand British meat, like you on a budget. I do grow my own veg though. Rarely buy fruit and veg.
Waitrose definitely met the foodie aspect! I think that Waitrose is best for authentic foodie bits, but their everyday items can be a little disappointing. Their baklava is delish! Xx
There’s not a Waitrose anywhere near us, there’s a little one in Nottingham city centre which I may go in a couple of times a year, I like it though and M&S. I do our main shop at Lidl because it’s cheaper but quality is better than bargain ranges at the superstores - biggest plus is I don’t get tempted by stuff I don’t need and because shops are smaller shopping takes much less time. Somethings I can’t get in there like Method laundry I order from Amazon. Great little haul though x
Hi. 🌞🍀👋
That looked delicious, but my goodness, I can’t believe those few items cost so much. Have you seen any salad seeds reduced in any of your local supermarkets/garden centre . These are quick growing and you can eat the even earlier as micro greens. Have you, or anyone else watching your channel tried repotting the herb plants from your local supermarkets. I have had superb success with, sage, rosemary and mint this year. I thought I’d give it a whirl, as they’re always sold out at Christmas. I think I have enough to supply a small army now 😂. Thanks for the video 👍

My weekly shop doesn't feature Waitrose. On a budget so it's usually Lidl or Aldi. Sometimes a few bits from Tesco.

I live in Wymondham 😂 i occasionally have a browse in there for the more unusual ingredients 😄
Oh wow!
Waitrose is a fab supermarket. I go there when I have a bit more money to spend and look for harder-to-source items and yellow tickets.
It is a lovely shopping experience x
