Not really, you should have it if you feel safe with it, but it's not a requirement or life necessity. Saying that a girl or boy needs pepper spray once they're teenagers is a little bit cynical in my opinion. You're gonna be perfectly fine without it.
i mean if you’re walking around campus at night after a class it’s a good idea to have pepper spray. even if you’re walking with a friend, you feel more safe
