- Hey yall! Welcome to my channel, I hope you stay awhile.
Unfortunately, this is no longer the room I am in as I chose to remove myself from a very toxic living environment with the people I was with.
Today's video I'm showing you guys my brand new living situation, a college dorm! I've worked really hard to get my room to look exactly the way I want it, and I hope yall see and appreciate the effort, and maybe even get inspired!

i just got accepted into unr so i was looking for videos about the dorms and stuff and yours is the only good one lol! so funny i am looking at sororities and i really like the philosophy of aoii! when i went on the tour of unr i found sierra hall to be the most appealing so i want to live in sierra hall. ahh so excited for next year ❣️ subscribed ❣️❣️

I love,love loveee the teal and like grey white theme you guys have going on because I loveeeee teal,grey and, white.. Coincidence:My room is themed the same as yours.
I love these colors too haha! Even my room back home is the same color scheme. Can't seem to get away from this color palette for some reason.
1. I love ur dorm is so cool, 2. My sister has a dorm with beds that are like that kinda, 3. I have the same curtains for meh closet too, 😃
The blue bin that you hold toilet paper in (the one in the bathroom), I also have those! I have the pink ones! They are super cool and really helpful for storage! They also come in a smaller size (probably could fit one toilet paper roll in there). You can use them as show in the video here, or you can stack them on their sides and make like a tower. They have those little interlocking pieces on the side which are super helpful. They even have these little notches on the side at the top for hanging file folders. Best choice I ever made buying them because they are just so darn versatile. They are from Walmart btw and I just checked three days ago, today is March 4th, 2019 and they do still carry them. I just checked mine and the brand is Sterilite which also makes other neat products. These bins come in a variety of bright colors. The colors I know of is the hot pink (but not neon like), the blue shown in this video, and black. I’m pretty sure they make other colors but those are the one I know of for sure.
Yeah! They have them at Target which is where mine is from. I have the small ones too, but I never really use these bins anymore haha

hahaha yeah, i do! I don't study at my desk, like ever haha. I like to go into the study lounges and libraries to study instead. I keep my textbooks tucked away because they aren't pretty, but they're in a box!

Daughter moves into Peavine in August. We are trying to figure out where her room number is located. What room number were you in? Was it facing the grass,sierra hall, or sierra st parking garage? Was it by the elevators/RA room, stairs, near the lounge. How many doors down from the lounge area? Appreciate your help.

My parents saved up money for my education, and I am lucky enough to have them pay for it and am super thankful. :)
I just accepted into UNR as well lol, but ways that you can pay for it are also financial aid and students loans. My parents didn't save up any money because they didn't know what to expect. But those two options aren't terrible, while you're in college I would suggest getting a part time job if possible and start saving up or heck, do it the summer before college start and saving up as much as possible.

My son has been assigned to Peavine and is in a 4:1.....does that mean 4 beds (2 bunks) in one room or Suite Style with 2 raised beds connected to the same and sharing 1 bath? I'm trying to figure out storage and space. He starts Nevada Fit in 2 weeks, Thank You!!!
uhhhh i honestly dont know what 4:1 is, i've never seen it described like that. From what i experienced last year, Peavine hall is only TRIPLES. so if he is in a single room, it will be 3 bed one bathroom, and if he's in a suite it will be 3 beds per room, two rooms and one bathroom (as you saw here in this video) but it is slightly possible they changed peavine to doubles

There were 6 girls sharing one bathroom. We went through 1 roll of toilet paper approximately every day and a half. As for my own personal backups like toothpaste, makeup wipes etc, I didn't have a car at the time, so I would rather have backups than . pay $20 each direction for an uber to walmart or target

This is literally my pet peeve about the set up of the room. I use multisurface disinfectant on the doorhandles 2-3 times a week because I hate it.

haha looking at this a year later i Genuinely think there wasn't anything in there haha. I used to keep soda and snacks in it, but having my hoodies on top made it hard to reach, so i just kept it empty. I ended up taking both of the crates home though haha
