I like your shoe collection - a mix of affordable and high end. I don't understand in keeping shoes that are so painful to wear....I will never wear any shoes that cause me pain, no matter how expensive they are.
You could tell which ones are from high end brands and which ones are from high street.
I love to see a try-on for shoes. As beautiful as they are on your shelves this just gives me a much better idea of what they would be like to wear. You have fabulous taste, classic but still fun.
I love try-ons!! realise it's probably hard to make but it's so fun to watch.

Well a lot of designers do have varying sizing but I think most seem to fit me fine :)

My favourite were the two 10 year pairs; the Jimmy Choo and the Marc Jacobs. LOVED them. I'm so gutted that they're old though as I won't be able to get them.

Haha not going to lie, my feet were in not the best state after this. I had to refilm 3 times as well because of lighting issues! So glad people seem to be enjoying though!

How do you find the Valentinos and Manolos to fit?? I have a pair of rockstud flats and I had to get a full size up, do the heels fit the same??
Love your shoe collections and I am a sucker for suede as well. Do you have any chipping issues with you Valentino on the little bit of leather above the heels? Mine has chipped already even before I wore them out :( xxx
Yes! It's not as bad on the patent ones but on my calf flats, it's pretty noticeable. I've seen on the purse forum that you can get little metal studs at the tips to stop this but I haven't found a shoe cobbler who will do it! Totally sucks for shoes that are SO expensive :(

You mentioned the Manolos and Weitzman's were a little big--did you take their normal size/would you recommend sizing down for those brands? Love from Toronto xx
Aw thank you so much! Really appreciate your kind words :) The Weitzmans were true to size but both pairs of Manolos are a little big. The D'Orsay pumps very much so (I should have sized down at least half a size). The BB pumps fit but need a heel guard but I'm not sure whether I would have sized down given the choice as I don't think that would help the comfort factor. I have tried Manolos in the past that seemed true to size though which is super frustrating! I think in general, I would go down half a size though. HTH!

I also love that you included more reasonably priced shoes (New Look shoes are my favourite; always so comfortable and stylish). I don't own any LK Bennet ones but I have seen them before, will have to get a pair because being able to walk comfortably in shoes is kind of must for me. 😜

yay thank you (and welcome!)! New Look shoes are so great - they have a store near my work and they have a massive shoe section so it's always a lunchtime temptation for me! I took the same size in both the valentinos and the gianvito rossis - I might have been able to size down half a size in the plexi pumps as I do need a heel guard but the valentinos fit completely true to size imo.

I have had a few recommendations recently for Lk Bennett! Do you remember where in Cheshire oaks sells them? I am local to it and checked the other day to see if they had a store there and couldn't find one so it would be great if they do! thanks for the video.
They used to have a stand alone boutique but I haven't been for a couple of years so perhaps they shut down? It's a massive shame if they have!

Are the gianvito rossi plexi pumps worth the money? I'm looking to buy my first pair of designer shoes so i wanted some i could wear pretty often but they're still quite expensive! Thanks :)
I like them but I do think they are a bit overpriced (but I think this with most designer shoes!). I think it depends on personal preference whether you think they're worth the money!

Hi Amie, I love your videos. They are super informative and chatty at the same time! I wonder if you struggle with size of Gianvito Rossi Plexi. Are they true to size?
I find them generally true to size. Mine do need a heel guard to stop them slipping but I often find this is the case with super high heels. You might be able to size down half a size but generally I do go TTS with them :)

depends on the shoe but not usually. If they do, I just buy some heel guards which helps loads!
