I use to play it a lot until they upped its BR a while back, now I don't think Ill play it at all with the recent update. They literally murdered it and are still keeping it at 6.3. Seriously it makes no sense to be 6.3. The only reason why it outperformed the M26 is because it had a Gyro Stab and good reverse speed, but now that they kept up Bring it and removed its Gyro, the M26 is going to far outperform the T25 because of its better armor.

I do think the stabilizer made the T25 way better than the M26, so much I just skipped it or left it as a backup for the T25 but now I think it's safe to bring it back to 6.0 with the nerf, maybe even 5.7 but I bet Gaijin won't do that in order to protect Germanys win rate.
IMO T25 to 6.0 (some people say 5.7) M26 to 6.0 M26E1 to 6.3 (going to get it in the sale because hopefully it gets put down) Super Pershing to 6.7 (but has a 6k max repair cost) I could genuinely be happy keeping the M26 and the T25 where they are but not for 12k and 10K SL repair costs for something worse than what you find at 5.7….
Whats the point of putting the T26 and the T25 at the same BR again when all of this happened because of it. Super Pershing at 6.7 will be the dumbest thing ever since its slow, doesnt have that good armour for a heavy tank and it has a long reload so putting it at the same BR as the Tiger 2 that is better in every way and will just ruin the american 6.3 lineup.

So, we have the T25 being "better" than the M26 (I wouldn't exactly say better, just different, trading armor for the stabilizer and a very small mobility improvement). Gaijin has an issue with this because of "chronological issues", so they go ahead and make it worse than the T20. Now what? Nerf the T20 to make it worse than the E8? When does it stop?
The M26 is actually much better in some situations, the T25 is just better at close range becasue of the stabilizer, but even then the armor of the M26 can also be used in close range to trick oponents, and the armor also makes it better at longer ranges, and the mobility is very similar, so it's not that much of a problem, but now that the T 25 lost the only thing that was better than the M26 i don't see the reason to keep it at 6.3

Man I miss the stabilizer on this thing... I still do great in it though, the reverse gear makes it amazing in CQC and the armour is a volumetric nightmare that lets you bounce stuff you really shouldn't bounce.
I recently aquired the t25 and the number of uptiers alone to 7.3 justify a downbr. I regularly play with leopards and T45, something that is just in my opinion nearly impossible without a gyro.

All the American tanks have been gutted. I can get kills on the target range I can never get in battles. The repair cost of 6-6.3 US tanks is ridiculous.
The T25 used to be my main tank, it went from the best tank to the worst in just a few quick updates. I think the main issue with it being moved to 6.3 is now it gets uptiered to face tanks like leopards 1's and other cold war tanks, whereas at BR 6.0 it was never uptiered to 7.0 due to the lack of tanks at that BR. The fact that Gaijin didn't move the T25 back down immediately after removing its stabilizer only shows how Gaijin actually cares about this tank, it's literally just a worse Pershing at this point while staying in the same BR.
if I also remember correctly I believe hearing from a documentary that the Pershing had a stabiliser for the gun as crew member who used it in ww2 also give references to it when fighting panthers
There needs to be a more separated br system in place to allow for these tanks to battle on an even footing. Same goes for aircraft. It is pointless in worrying about small br movements as it doesnt matter when the outcome is the same when it comes to the match maker.
Also, they have kept the repair cost as 9k for RB, and removed the stabilizer. It has worse armour than Panther, slightly lower penetration than panther, and Tiger 2s. In a downtier, it will face Panthers, Tigers, Tiger 2 P, in an uptier, it will face Tiger 2H, 400mm HEATs of Leopard 1, missiles from BMP1 and Marders. From the Soviet side, it will face IS series tanks. But now it is essentially more than M36. This tank is equivalent to panther G in terms of Armor, Penetration, Mobility. But yet it sits at 6.3 at 9K repair cost. While Tiger 2P, with long 88 and 300mm of frontal hull protection? That's 3K repair cost. Gaijin hates America and panders to Wehraboos. Don't even get me started on British 6.7.
How to fix this. option 1:make the current t25 pilot number 1 and move it out of the tech tree. then make pilot number 2 for the tech tree at 6.0. this is basically what they did with the maus/panther II but with more logic. the pilot no.1 basically becomes a rare vehicle and pilot no.2 becomes its replacement. so long as they have an announcement date for its replacement and allow you to keep it even if you are just researching. this makes the tech tree chronological and doesn’t change the status quo. option 2: pilot no.1 becomes foldered with the m26 and pilot no.2 gets put before them at 6.0. you get to have a semi-chronological tech tree and you don’t chance the status quo. i prefer option 2
At 6.3 if you aren't very good with the t25 it'll be troublesome especially in uptiers but from my experience 9/10 t25 players are extremely good at playing it
Yeah but if you take a tanks primary advantage as you uptier it.... it would be like bumping the german m41 to 6.7-7.0 and then removing it's heat shell. Sure some players could make it work but balance wise it doesn't make sense
@@aratay3117 Thing is your average US main after 5.3 has gotten so used to playing with objectively inferior tanks, against objectively superior enemies, that genuinely no one notices just how broken the US tech tree is. Normally I manage around 3 kills a round at best on US. Thought this was normal performance. Played on my friends germany account, and I averaged 6-8 kills consistently with zero sweat. This was from 5.3-8.0 bruh. Its genuinely astonishing just how broken Germany and Russia are in this game. If I had the chance to never go against those nations, i would take it. It would be so much more fun.

I think what they plan on doing with this is converting the existing model in game to the prototype 2 model without vertical stabilizer, then introduce a premium prototype 1 model with the stabilizer, given that they know it performs well and the players know it performs well.

They could just make no.1 and no.2, fold them together and at the end of the day we got more tanks for line ups around 6.0 - 6.3 for USA. We got shit ton of m48s in game, I think we can handle two t25s. But this is just my opinion. Or they could give t25 the maus (and tiger 105 and panther 2) treatment and throw it out from tech tree without way to reaserch it anymore.

Gaijin are pro to remove stabs from tank that had one, and add one to tanks that never had one (yes I'm talking about the AMX 32... it had a "kind of stab" that made its way into the AMX 30B2, but in no way that's a 2 plane stabilizer)
So this is why 5.7 feels so much more different now. I remember struggling against T-25s, just because of their troll armor. Now I almost never see them

This would all be fixed if you were allowed to cross-research tech trees in the game.
If they made it less combat capable, then lower it's B.R. That vertical stabilizer is the reason it's that high up to begin with, removing it makes it more vunerable, and likely easier to kill due to it's now hindered ability to perform moving shots.
for complete solution, make current T25 event or premium and introduce T25E1 as a replacement with actually entered limited production, its also lighter and use M26 transmission so while it would be bit worse in reverse it would gain overall mobility. Technically for its parameters in game T25 it match Pilot 2, hull visual differences are pretty minor compared to Pilot 1 also 0.5cal wouldn't be removed as mount for it is still here.
This change genuinely pissed me off the most about direct shit. That and the comet getting its reload nerfed while germany had 2 tank destroyers buffed. It's clear they mishmashed the 2 prototypes together, just look at the tracks and skirts, but this is an american vehicle, so it must be as bad as possible am I rite. This made me do my first forum post, explaining why the change made no sense, but again, it's gaijin, so they're just gonna keep it at 6.3 with the repair cost of 8k, despite a panther being way better than the T25.

They should have made models of both T25 prototypes, then moved the one without a stabiliser down to 6.0 or 5.7. Perhaps we'll see prototype number one as a battle pass vehicle in the near future though, it's an easy one for them to do.

No one figured out how to put a 105mm gun in a Tiger, yet thats in the game. Kugelblitzes dont have wooden turrets for some reason. We just want to play the game without being treated like a punching bag for German/Russian players to progress at our expense.

I do think the stabilizer made the T25 way better than the M26, so much I just skipped it or left it as a backup for the T25 but now I think it's safe to bring it back to 6.0 with the nerf, maybe even 5.7 but I bet Gaijin won't do that in order to protect Germanys win rate.

Whats the point of putting the T26 and the T25 at the same BR again when all of this happened because of it. Super Pershing at 6.7 will be the dumbest thing ever since its slow, doesnt have that good armour for a heavy tank and it has a long reload so putting it at the same BR as the Tiger 2 that is better in every way and will just ruin the american 6.3 lineup.

So, we have the T25 being "better" than the M26 (I wouldn't exactly say better, just different, trading armor for the stabilizer and a very small mobility improvement). Gaijin has an issue with this because of "chronological issues", so they go ahead and make it worse than the T20. Now what? Nerf the T20 to make it worse than the E8? When does it stop?

The M26 is actually much better in some situations, the T25 is just better at close range becasue of the stabilizer, but even then the armor of the M26 can also be used in close range to trick oponents, and the armor also makes it better at longer ranges, and the mobility is very similar, so it's not that much of a problem, but now that the T 25 lost the only thing that was better than the M26 i don't see the reason to keep it at 6.3

For example, the 76mm M1 gun had better chance of dealing with angled armor with APCBC which it could 1 shot the Tiger 1 in the front even slightly angled one, and it was outperformed the 85mm gun that the Soviet had so they nerfed it so they could please the Russian players.

I still do great in it though, the reverse gear makes it amazing in CQC and the armour is a volumetric nightmare that lets you bounce stuff you really shouldn't bounce.

I recently aquired the t25 and the number of uptiers alone to 7.3 justify a downbr. I regularly play with leopards and T45, something that is just in my opinion nearly impossible without a gyro.

The T25 used to be my main tank, it went from the best tank to the worst in just a few quick updates. I think the main issue with it being moved to 6.3 is now it gets uptiered to face tanks like leopards 1's and other cold war tanks, whereas at BR 6.0 it was never uptiered to 7.0 due to the lack of tanks at that BR. The fact that Gaijin didn't move the T25 back down immediately after removing its stabilizer only shows how Gaijin actually cares about this tank, it's literally just a worse Pershing at this point while staying in the same BR.
I think 5.7 would work fine as a nice sidegrade to the easy eight

if I also remember correctly I believe hearing from a documentary that the Pershing had a stabiliser for the gun as crew member who used it in ww2 also give references to it when fighting panthers

There needs to be a more separated br system in place to allow for these tanks to battle on an even footing. Same goes for aircraft. It is pointless in worrying about small br movements as it doesnt matter when the outcome is the same when it comes to the match maker.

Also, they have kept the repair cost as 9k for RB, and removed the stabilizer. It has worse armour than Panther, slightly lower penetration than panther, and Tiger 2s. In a downtier, it will face Panthers, Tigers, Tiger 2 P, in an uptier, it will face Tiger 2H, 400mm HEATs of Leopard 1, missiles from BMP1 and Marders. From the Soviet side, it will face IS series tanks. But now it is essentially more than M36. This tank is equivalent to panther G in terms of Armor, Penetration, Mobility. But yet it sits at 6.3 at 9K repair cost. While Tiger 2P, with long 88 and 300mm of frontal hull protection? That's 3K repair cost. Gaijin hates America and panders to Wehraboos. Don't even get me started on British 6.7.

I just recently got this tank. I saw that the tank had no stabilizer and was extremely confused.
How to fix this. option 1:make the current t25 pilot number 1 and move it out of the tech tree. then make pilot number 2 for the tech tree at 6.0. this is basically what they did with the maus/panther II but with more logic.
the pilot no.1 basically becomes a rare vehicle and pilot no.2 becomes its replacement. so long as they have an announcement date for its replacement and allow you to keep it even if you are just researching. this makes the tech tree chronological and doesn’t change the status quo.
option 2: pilot no.1 becomes foldered with the m26 and pilot no.2 gets put before them at 6.0. you get to have a semi-chronological tech tree and you don’t chance the status quo.
i prefer option 2
At 6.3 if you aren't very good with the t25 it'll be troublesome especially in uptiers but from my experience 9/10 t25 players are extremely good at playing it
Yeah but if you take a tanks primary advantage as you uptier it.... it would be like bumping the german m41 to 6.7-7.0 and then removing it's heat shell. Sure some players could make it work but balance wise it doesn't make sense

Normally I manage around 3 kills a round at best on US. Thought this was normal performance.
Played on my friends germany account, and I averaged 6-8 kills consistently with zero sweat. This was from 5.3-8.0 bruh.
Its genuinely astonishing just how broken Germany and Russia are in this game.
If I had the chance to never go against those nations, i would take it. It would be so much more fun.

I think what they plan on doing with this is converting the existing model in game to the prototype 2 model without vertical stabilizer, then introduce a premium prototype 1 model with the stabilizer, given that they know it performs well and the players know it performs well.

They could just make no.1 and no.2, fold them together and at the end of the day we got more tanks for line ups around 6.0 - 6.3 for USA. We got shit ton of m48s in game, I think we can handle two t25s. But this is just my opinion. Or they could give t25 the maus (and tiger 105 and panther 2) treatment and throw it out from tech tree without way to reaserch it anymore.
Since the No.1 has the gyro, it would make sense to be at 6.0-6.3 while the No.2 should be at 5.3-5.7.

They should add the T23E3 or T23E4 at 6.0, drop T25 to 6.0, and move T20 back to 5.7

Gaijin rarely changes a vehicles BR after it was buffed or nerfed through a patch. The HSTV was one of the exceptions.
I love that this was worth changing but the Panther II exists... oh and so does the Ostwind II, and shouldn't the Kugleblitz's turret be made of wood? Or what about how no one ever actually figured out how to put the 105mm gun in the Tiger II and yet we have that in game.
Meanwhile they nerf everything on the US tech tree for zero reason.
US tanks in general perform 50% worse than they normally should of.
Gaijjin basically has trained your average US player to perform good despite having a objectively shittier vehicle going against superior enemies, so now whenever they even attempt any common sense balancing, they realize the sheer stomping that would happen.
This would all be fixed if you were allowed to cross-research tech trees in the game.

That vertical stabilizer is the reason it's that high up to begin with, removing it makes it more vunerable, and likely easier to kill due to it's now hindered ability to perform moving shots.
for complete solution, make current T25 event or premium and introduce T25E1 as a replacement with actually entered limited production, its also lighter and use M26 transmission so while it would be bit worse in reverse it would gain overall mobility.
Technically for its parameters in game T25 it match Pilot 2, hull visual differences are pretty minor compared to Pilot 1
also 0.5cal wouldn't be removed as mount for it is still here.

This change genuinely pissed me off the most about direct shit. That and the comet getting its reload nerfed while germany had 2 tank destroyers buffed. It's clear they mishmashed the 2 prototypes together, just look at the tracks and skirts, but this is an american vehicle, so it must be as bad as possible am I rite. This made me do my first forum post, explaining why the change made no sense, but again, it's gaijin, so they're just gonna keep it at 6.3 with the repair cost of 8k, despite a panther being way better than the T25.
They nerfed the comet? Again? That poor thing had an awful stock grind and was the best (and only) good vehicle briatin had at 5.7 before they uptiered it. What did they change the reload from and to?
