Hi Tommy, took my mod 2 retest Friday just gone and passed now.... Just picked up my new Honda CB650R E-Clutch yesterday, and wow what a bike and the E-Clutch is something else. Simply stunning, will upload video shortly, but finally like you I also have my full A license , and all done within 11 months.... Now the fun begins.
That is wicked news mate, congratulations 💪 I told you they were good. Weird at first but you get used to it quickly. I bet it is wicked on the open road, and really shines in traffic! Enjoy my man, I will have my new bike in about 3 weeks. It will be worth the wait 😍😍
Going through my bike training at the moment, really enjoying it, your videos have been really helpful. It's good that you talk through everything and always have a positive approach to things. Congratulations on the pass dude! :)
thank you so much for the video tommy, I live on the island to, in Chale Green and have my test booked for a months time, this has helped so mutch as it as eased my nerves on doing the test
You're welcome mate. Be chill, the test is easy as long as you don't do anything silly. Just go in having learned all of the 'show me, tell me' stuff as the bloke is a bit of an arse with that! Let us know how you get on 💪
@ronlysons6750 Quite right, Paul confirmed the same when I asked him. I would rather know it though so the examiner doesn't start the road ride aready thinking you are not ready before you've even started 👍
really wish i could have made it over to the isle of wight for a collab this week but pulled my back out and currently contemplating how im going to get home lmao. been watching over your license journey again and its been calming my itch to ride :D happy riding as always (once the new ones on the drive)
Sounds like I got him on a good day🤩 when I did mine my show me tell me questions were show me how you would Operate the killswitch and tell me how carrying a pillion passenger would affect your riding or something like that I gave the most basic answer and on the show me question I forgot to turn the ignition on🤣 but I got a subtle reminder to switch it on 😂 shame he was a bit more strict with you tho 😬doesn’t help the nerves one bit but you smashed it 🎉can’t wait to see what bike you go for 👀
Well done mate. Any ideas on your next set of wheels? I’d go for something as a step up… like a 500-650. Once you’ve mastered it. Move up to a 1000+. I have the new NX 500, with full touring spec and the Honda rebel 1100. You’ll get the bike bug, where you’ll want every bike out there. Haha
Thanks, your NX500 sounds nice. I've not pulled the trigger yet (Currently bike-less as the 125 went yesterday!). All will be revealed when I pick something up 😁
@TwoWheelsTommy Should make an interesting video. Waiting with bated breath and looking forward to the reveal. Perhaps a couple of bike considerations teaser videos before the big reveal 🏍 🤔🏍 😁🏍.
On the independent ride, only going straight is a good tip, thanks. Although... you'll end up miles away from the test centre, and are judged on the ride back too?
if you repeatedly go off piste they can fail you for not observing road signs, it's not common but my instructor said it has been done before for people who just obviously go in one direction to avoid the independent ride
Oh! 100% my advice is not to just go straight on. The instructor will tell you to follow signs somewhere and you'll be expected to do so. (Though you won't be penalised if you go the wrong way as long as you do everything properly). It just turned out that my independent riding bit was just along a long straight road! You are judges from the second you turn the engine on until the second you turn the engine off. 👍
Thank you. Including the CBT it cost £880 to get my licence. I have a new bike coming but I'm saving the reveal for a future video. Won't be long now! 😍
believe it or not on Mod 2 pulling away from a stop there is no need for an indicator. Shoulder check and off you go, did my Mod 2 last week with no minors and they don't even glance at it with no indicator when pulling away from one of the stops during a Mod 2
no one can ask you to remove camera from bike our you helmet when riding on public roads . They can ask you to stop recording if on privet properly Tommy but you know this ...
This is useful for the ten people who live in the isle of wight 😂. Congratulations on the pass 🎉
And most of them passed the same day as me 🤣

@@TwoWheelsTommy You won't fail even if you get all of the show me tell questions wrong. I think you get a minor.

Always another time my man! I currently have no bike so you would have had to give me a backy anyway 🤣 When is your MOD 1/2 stuff ?
Well done! This is a brill vid. Makes things seem less scary 😊
Thanks, nothing to be scared about. It is just a nice ride with someone behind you 💪

I did my test couple weeks ago and never had to do independent ride
That's weird! Lucky you 😀
Check out the CF Moto range, the MT650 is a great bike for the money, or a Panigale V4...😁
I will loom into them but I have narroewd it down now I reckon. Just need to find the roght one now 💪
Hello well done on passing if don't mind how much it cost you?? And what big bike are you looking at getting.
Thank you. Including the CBT it cost £880 to get my licence. I have a new bike coming but I'm saving the reveal for a future video. Won't be long now! 😍
@@TwoWheelsTommy nice I been quated about £800 roughly cheers
@anarchyrider8618 Sounds like a good deal. Some pay way more than that!
@@TwoWheelsTommy aye seem decent one near me
@anarchyrider8618 Go get it! 🚀

That is good to know. Well done for passing. Big bike time for you! 🚀😀
Why would you want to indicate when you're pulling away?
🎉
Cheers!
The examiner definitely has a multi personality disorder 😂
Looking forward to seeing what bike you'll go for.
No idea what was going on with him! All will be revealed soon when I have figured out which one to go for. So many options 😀
Nice one
Thank you Ian 👍
Do you not have to do a u turn or emergency stop on your test ?
They are covered in the MOD 1 test (See my other vids) 😀
👌
Thanks Paul 👍

Yeah I know the drill. Arguing with the examiner is not my style though to off it came 🤣
