Old sub. The Burbank airport incident reminded me of a similar event I had while landing at Burbank on a 737coming in with heavy cross winds. We had 3 wave offs.4th time we cme in under extra power, over 125mph. He took the whole runway. I saw the terminal go by! The hangers go by! Wheels hit,I thought they were coming threw the floor.Racks opened up,things falling,plane shaking,as he reversed the blades for breaking, while pumping the breaks. We stopped at the San Fernando Rd. fence, everybody applauded. Next time I'll take the train from San Francisco.My friend, a pilot told me later, he had to come in on that one.No fuel left for another approach.

Right now I have a tentative plan to host an event at the North Carolina transportation museum in May. But things are percolating for something on the West Coast, as well. If you go back and check your email from July you’ll find that you actually knew about this place before Anthony told you. The important thing though is that you made it there - it’s the perfect spot for your channel.
@@jamesrea329 I actually met Anthony in June when I was filming the LA steamers. That’s when I first heard about Christmas tree Lane. It’s good to get different people‘s recommendations and also see what comes up from folks more than once. I have a long master list of ideas that continues to grow, and with everybody’s comments and emails of recommendations, I also don’t mind reminders about places, or especially a heads up about specific events. Most of what I film I plan at least a month in advance, but will probably be planning a lot the next year in the coming week or two. Feel free to mention anything you think would be amazing - and even better if it’s a place you already have a contact for to facilitate a collaboration. Thanks again, James!
