Can we just appreciate the sound design for the enemies? Like, holy fuckin’ shit, I would _not_ want to hear that sound at all, much less a semi-confined room.
Starts flying large banshee. Banshee screams. Worms start to pour into the room with you- this sound coming from all around as the walls start to shift around you. The walls start to open in front of you- the room gets searing hot as it starts to glow green…
I have played halo for many many years now and this is the first time I've had to look up what someone else did since I was a child. F the hunters on legendary
There is a corner in the room where you can hide behind boxes I used the threat sensor to see the health of each hunter and whenever I let them sit and let there guard down would take a shot until I got one down and got a check point then just jump out and handle the second hunter
Just like all the other vids. It's how this person got them with a particular set of weapons. None of you have any sound advice. I'll just do it on my own
The weapons in a particular situation are important but I'll give some sound advice although I've only played on normal so far. I assume all hunters in this game will anticipate and turn quite well to guard their back, but the player can trick the hunter if they turn fast enough and are close to them; you just have to use the grapple hook to get close but not in front of it and run left or right, then the hunter will anticipate and swing down ahead of where you'll run but then you suddenly change direction and it can't adjust fast enough. This tactic works well on the first but once it's down the second will rush you so idk what to do from there i still have more to learn about the hunters.
Well if you have already played the game then you would know where the hunters are, so you should already be prepared for it, but all rooms/areas with hunters have weapons that you can use to kill them with. You just need to be careful as to not get shot. its one direct hit and you're dead. On LASO, you have infinite ammo but the splash damage can kill you and they have far more health as well so you have to 'Tarzan' your away around the room and use sensors to ensure that you are ahead of them. best trick is to run around in circles exactly like how @yep did in this video.
@@ladslounge2698 I found that if the hunters aren't running toward the player then they'll anticipate and try to hit in front of where the player is moving if the player moves close enough. The hunters won't lead their arm if they're charging the player but they'll still track.
Yeah the hunters are disappointingly easy compared to how people were claiming they were 😭 I guess just most of these mfs never played doom eternal so they don't know how to fight a badass enemy without cover.

Yeah the hunters are rough this time around
@@huh0069 those red hunters on legendary were not fun to fight in that tiny enclosed room

I did that too! Took me like an HOUR on legendary
@@Chuked I thought that part was bad till the final brute boss
ravager and skewer got it
That was smooth as hell
skewer to the knee
Ravager killed something.
Can you imagine a hunter chasing you
Try the same thing with the explosive skewer
It’s on the map?

If I’m remembering correctly, both these weapons are in this room.
