Greater Anglia recruits for trainee driver roles

Greater Anglia is advertising 15 full-time trainee driver roles across its network, as it looks for its latest crop of new recruits.
Positions are available for both depot drivers, who are responsible for driving empty trains around depots and sidings and into station platforms at low speed, and mainline drivers who will be operating trains in passenger service on a number of routes.
The jobs are all safety-critical roles and require a person who can work well on their own, effectively communicate with both colleagues and customers, be well organised and have high levels of concentration. They are suitable for anyone with the right attributes

i'm a bit too old now, but would have loved the class 86's, to drive.at my age an 08 in the yard i could handle

The advertisement for Trainee Mainline Driver got taken down early, so I missed the opportunity this time. I applied for the depot driver position and submitted the SJT. I'm not sure if I want to pursue a depot driver role because I'm passionate about mainline driving. Are any depot drivers from Norwich able to share some information? Like if you enjoy it and the eventual opportunity of becoming Mainline?

Wish there was a greater Anglia class 321 and greater Anglia class 360 on TSW4 Dovetail games from London Liverpool Street to Colchester town , Colchester and Southend Victoria via Romford as I miss the greater Anglia class 321 and greater Anglia class 360

The greater Anglia class 360 and the 321 are way better

I agree with the Class 360. And the Class 321. Maybe Siemens could have built more Class 360s or more Class 379 Electrostar units to be added if Bombardier did continue on manufacturing more Class 379s.
