Yes you have to activate windows if you are running corporate business or Organization if your are teacher or institution you can use it for educational purposes without activation but it have some limitations

Give it a static IP or configure DHCP Rule on Server Manager
Because internet not necessarily on file and printer sharing thatsway you able to map drive or folder on network
