Hats off to Wonderboy, he showed incredible heart powering through the pain to deliver those kicks to the iron pillars that are Houston's calves. That had to hurt, but he never flinched. And Houston should get an academy award for acting like he was in pain. He just wanted to build up Wonderboy's confidence before his fight.what a good friend.

In all seriousness, I’ve seen people quit mid-fight from fewer calf kicks than iron man Houston received. What a fucking machine.
Those calf kicks have changed the game in MMA. I let my cousin kick me in the calf. He’s a amateur in mixed martial arts. Probably 30% and it was so freaking painful. Can’t even imagine that happening in a real fight with a professional.

That happened because of a checked kick not a shin slamming into a calf muscle.
Well, Houston isn’t checking the kicks, and these are low calf kicks, not high calf kicks, which are more dangerous, yet do more damage. They are more dangerous as they can be checked easier, and the part you check with is really hard causing a weidman, and silva like leg snap
what's the weidman incident, if you don't mind me asking?
an intellectual Google chris weidman leg, or look it up on here. It happened last Saturday, he went to throw a low kick and it got check. His bone broke/snapped back like rubber and he landed back on the foot which gave him a compound fracture, where the bone sticks through the skin. Really bad lol
