Altitude made both guys tired, and to be honest I doubt this is the last time that Luke fights, he made it sound like it was, but he'll be back. Probably will fight Chris Weidman. Luke's a former champion, Costa isn't.

Knowing the physical and biological body reactions that happen after a blow to the liver I can say that Houston definitely showed the effects of a liver shot fully, but took it like a champ.
I mean, when he can take more he gets right back up and asks for more.

@@Maartun because liver kicks xan be downright deadly. The liver is a very gel like organ and pressure flows through it easy. With it being a soft organ that absorbs pressure easy, that makes it rupture easy as well. If it ruptures and you don't see a doctor then you'll die. I think the liver can rupture at like 15psi. Also the liver is right next to the vagus nerve, which is directly connected to your spinal cord. When it gets over stimulated it can lead to temporary partial paralysis, muscle contractions, vomiting, intense pain, and involuntary bowle movements. Basically all of that is why people who get hit in the liver literally always drop to the floor. It's damn near impossible to stay on 2 feet after that.
Already not just getting demolished on the ground screaming or in shock is amazing, let alone talking it like that and also managing to still play some of the face-save act. AND getting kicked more after the recovery.

The only reason that Houston was slightly effected by the kick was because because of the lack of oxygen at such a high altitude for his muscles. Houston’s muscles consume 30 times more oxygen than the average person.

@@Skaiform it is unexplainable if you didn't experienced it. You're like paralyzed and the pain is that bad you can start hallucinating for couple minutes. I'm a 6"8 dude and done kickboxing for almost 8-9 years. Good liver hit is the worst you can get. You are knocked out immediately.
It is a type of pain coupled with body unresponsiveness that is just indescribable.. it is so instantly demoralizing and debilitating.. he took it like a g.
Fr, I'm 6'4 105kg and got put on my knee by my friend after a liver shot. My friend is 5'9 at best, way better boxer then me but he weighs as much as my left leg yet he folded me up bad. Can still feel the pain if I think about lmao.

There is a line not to cross for his safety, I simply wanted to remind him of that. Because after all, yeah we want fun content, but I think most of his viewers actually care for his wellbeing and don't want to him to actually get injured. It's more about the creativity behind his stunts that we care about. At least it is how I feel.

The only reason we don't see them more often is that the liver is partially covered by the ribs and hard to target. But when your arms are up and you're posing for the liver shot.... just yikes
Yeah, a couple of times I’ve really been worried for HJ. I hope he knows we’ll stick around and he doesn’t need to constantly be upping the danger. I know he’s a TKD guy and probably has a good handle on this sort of thing, but I don’t want to see the guy lose an eye or something for TH-cam.

There are creators like doobydobap who get so many views and likes on their shorts but will only get a fraction on their longer videos. Shorts could be a great way for people to get a taste of your content that leads them to your videos. You have so many moments that could turn into a short that would get insane attraction.
